DAILY SPURGEON and DEVOTION for   August 4th  *A.D. 2025

_________________________________________________

Note: The New King James Version NKJV and all other versions  that are NOT  translated from  the Textus Receptus [Received Text] are  inferior to the  translations of the  1769 [1611] King James Version, KJV and the Geneva Bible.  Only these two translations have remained  faithful to the traditional Textus Receptus.

The Textus Receptus [Received Text] is supported by more than 5,321 Majority Greek Text MT Manuscripts that agree 99% with one another. ALL OTHER readings have as their primary Greek source either Westcott and Hort’s or Nestle and Aland’s, made up Greek Texts  fabricated from only a handful [45] of Majority Text Manuscripts and  lack the  trustworthiness of the inspired 1769 [1611] King James Version, KJV and the Geneva Bibles; the 1only two translated from the reliable, inspired  and divinely protected Textus Receptus.

The Bridge to Babylon video presents historical evidence to account for the explosion of over 100 different  English version translations  of the Bible into English. The continuing attempts to replace, add or take away from the 1769 King James Version of the Holy Bible will not  prevail because GOD Himself preserves and protects His Holy Word

from all heresy, blasphemy, confusion and error.

Is it of God?

1 John 4:1-3

Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everyone or everything] you hear but be testing the spirit [voice] whether it is of God: because many false prophets have gone [come] out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses [avows] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come[who came] out of God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses [avows] not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit [voice] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Therefore, I  confess, ,  that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh.

[The English translations of the Bible that use other Greek manuscripts than the Textus Receptus translate  “Has come” and ignore “ictin” (the Greek word for is) This error is clearly-evident because non-believers and false prophets can, and do, make the confession that He “has come” in the flesh. While this is true at face value, it does not bear the burden of discernment that it promises..

The most well documented fact in all recorded human history is that Jesus. the Christ [Messiah]  has come in the flesh. The main question to be ascertained, however, is not whether the spirit [words or person] being tested confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh but, of essential importance, is whether Jesus Christ, “is here, from God, in the flesh.”

Ephesians 5:30-32

30 for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Compare, here, scripture with scripture: “I speak concerning Christ and the church.” [the fleshly embodiment, here, of the body of Christ].

Jusus The Mesiah [Christ] has always and Forever existed as the WORD of God.    John 1:1-2

He was born of a virgin 2,025 years ago in Bethlehem,

is alive today, and is coming soon for His bride; the Church  (the redeemed).

1 Timothy 3:16

Authorized (King James) Version

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

May the Holy Ghost  draw  you to the Lord Jesus Christ to receive Him as your Savior and Lord and to publicly acknowledge Him as  such.  He will therefore  acknowledge you to His Father; The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. You should also follow Him in believer’s baptism.

Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”

 Matthew 3:15

Baptism is not essential for salvation. Remember, Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and said to him. “Remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43

PRAYER 1 Part 5 of 7

HELP FROM ON HIGH.

And now that we have Thine ear we … pray for this poor world in which we live. We are often horrified by it. O, Lord, we could wish that we did not know anything about it for our own comfort. We have said, “Oh! for a lodge in some vast wilderness [a cabin in the woods].” We hear of oppression and robbery and murder, and men seem let loose against each other. Lord, have mercy upon this great and wicked city. What is to be done with these millions? What can we do?

At least help every child of Thine to do his utmost. May none of us contribute to the evil directly or indirectly, but may we contribute to the good that is in it. We feel we may speak with Thee now about this, for when Thy servant Abraham stood before Thee and spake [spoke] with such wonderful familiarity to Thee, he pleaded for Sodom; and we plead for London [and all places that give sanctuary to or practice sodomy .

We would [desire to] follow the example of the Father of the Faithful and pray for all great cities, and indeed for all the nations. Lord, let Thy kingdom come. Send forth Thy light and Thy truth.

Sing: Send The Light

Chase the old dragon from his throne, with all his hellish crew. Oh! that the day might come when even upon earth the Son of the woman, the Man-child, should rule the nations, not with a broken staff of wood, but with an enduring scepter [ornamented royal staff carried by rulers symbolizing sovereignty] of iron, full of mercy, but full of power, full of grace, but yet irresistible. Oh! that that might soon come, the personal advent [coming] of our Lord! We long for the millennial triumph of His Word.

Until then, O Lord, gird [equip] us for the fight, and make us to be among those who overcome,

through the blood of the Lamb and through the word of our testimony, and because we,

“love not our lives unto the death” [will willingly lay down our life for You Lord Jesus] in Your name I pray, Amen.

ANTICDOTE 5, AMBITION, NOBLE ASPIRATION.

I have often used an illustration taken from a person who teaches the art of growing taller. I do not believe in that art: we shall not add a cubit to our stature just yet.

But part of this professor’s exercise is, that in the morning, when you get up, you are to reach as high as ever you can, and aim a little higher every morning, though it be only the hundredth part of an inch. By that means you are to grow. This is so with faith. Do all you can, and then do a little more: and when you can do that, then do a little more than you can.

Always have something in hand that is greater than your present capacity. Grow up to it, and when you have grown up to it, grow more. By many little additions a great house is built. Brick by brick up rose the pyramid.

Believe and yet believe. Trust and have further trust. Hope shall become faith, and faith shall ripen to full assurance and perfect confidence in God, Most High. [Do your utmost, to increase faith]

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK AUGUST 4 HE BLESSES AND KEEPS C.H. Spurgeon 1834 – 1892

-The Lord bless thee, and keep thee- Numbers 6:24

-Jehova te bendiga, y te guarde- Numeros 6:24

This first clause [part] of the high-priest’s benediction is substantially a promise. That blessing which our great High Priest pronounces upon us is sure to come, for He speaks the mind of God. What a joy to abide under the divine blessing! This puts a gracious flavor into all things.

If we are blessed, then all our possessions and enjoyments are blessed; yea, our losses and crosses, and even our disappointments are blessed. God’s blessing is deep, emphatic, effectual.

A man’s blessing may begin and end in words; but

the blessing of the Lord makes rich and sanctifies. The best wish we can have for our dearest friend is not

 -May prosperity attend thee,

- but -The Lord bless thee.-

It is equally a delightful thing to be kept of God; kept by Him, kept near Him, kept in Him. They are kept indeed whom God keeps; they are preserved from evil, they are reserved unto boundless happiness.

God’s keeping goes with His blessing, to establish it and cause it to endure. The author of this little book [Faith’s Checkbook by C H Spurgeon]] desires that the rich blessing and sure keeping here pronounced may come upon every reader who may at this moment be looking at these lines.

Please breathe [whisper] this to God as a prayer for His servants.

Prayer: Bless all Your servants today, Lord, Your divine blessings. Thank You that all blessings pronounced upon us by our high priest, the Lord Jesus will come to pass because He always speaks the mind of God. Thank You that You will keep us secure and eternally protected. Even our losses, crosses and disappointments are blessed. Your blessings God are deep, emphatic, effectual and newly bestowed each day. Thank You dear Lord Jesus, Amen.

MORNING August 4

"The people that do know their God shall be strong.” —Daniel 11:32

—El pueblo que conoce á su Dios, se esforzará — Daniel 11:32

EVERY believer understands that to know God is the highest and best form of knowledge; and this spiritual knowledge is a source of strength to the Christian.

It strengthens his faith. Believers are constantly spoken of in the Scriptures as being persons who are enlightened and taught of the Lord; they are said to

"have an unction [power of God] from the Holy One," and it is the [Holy] Spirit's peculiar office to lead them into all truth, and all this for the increase and the fostering of their faith.

Knowledge strengthens love, as well as faith. Knowledge opens the door, and then through that door we see our Savior. Or, to use another similitude [figure of speech], knowledge paints the portrait of Jesus, and when we see that portrait then we love Him, we cannot love a Christ whom we do not know, at least, in some degree.

If we know but little of the excellences of Jesus, what He has done for us, and what He is doing now, we cannot love Him much; but the more we know Him, the more we shall love Him.

Knowledge also strengthens hope. How can we hope for a thing if we do not know of its existence?

Hope may be the telescope, but till we receive instruction, our ignorance stands in the front of the glass, and we can see nothing whatever; knowledge removes the interposing [imposing] object, and when we

look through the bright optic glass we discern [see clearly] the glory to be revealed, and anticipate it with joyous confidence.

Knowledge supplies us reasons for patience. How shall we have patience unless we know something of the sympathy of Christ, and understand the good which is to come out of the correction which our heavenly Father sends us?

Nor is there one single grace of the Christian which, under God, will not be fostered and brought to perfection by holy knowledge.

How important, then, is it that we should grow not only in grace, but

in the "knowledge" of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

EVENING August 4

"I smote [struck] you with blasting [scorching winds,] and with mildew and with hail in all the labors of your hands. "—Haggai 2:17

—Os herí con viento solano, y con tizoncillo, y con granizo en toda obra de vuestras manos—Hageo 2:17

HOW destructive is the hail to the standing [growing] crops, beating out the precious grain onto the ground! How grateful ought we to be when the corn [grain] is spared so terrible a ruin! Let us offer unto the Lord thanksgiving.

Even more to be dreaded are those mysterious destroyers—smut [plant fungus], bunt [a smut disease of wheat, rust, and mildew. These turn the ear [grain] into a mass of soot, or render it putrid [smelly], or dry up the grain, and all in a manner so beyond all human control that the farmer is compelled to cry,

"This is the finger of God."

Innumerable minute [small] fungi cause the mischief, and were it not [if it weren’t] for the goodness of God, the *rider on the black horse would soon scatter famine over the land. Infinite mercy spares the food of men, but in view of the active agents which are ready to destroy the harvest, right wisely are we taught to pray,

"Give us this day our daily bread."

The curse is abroad [alive and well]; we have constant need of the blessing. When blight and mildew come, they are chastisements from heaven, and men must learn to hear the rod [of discipline], and Him that has appointed [sent] it.

Spiritually, mildew is no uncommon evil. When our work is most promising this blight appears.

We hoped for many conversions, and suddenly we find a general apathy, an abounding worldliness, or a cruel hardness of heart! There may be no open sin in those for whom we are laboring, but there is a deficiency of sincerity and decision sadly disappointing our desires.

We learn from this our dependence on the Lord, and the need of prayer that no blight may fall on our work.

Spiritual pride or sloth will soon bring on us the dreadful evil, and only the Lord of the harvest can remove it.

Mildew may even attack our own hearts, and shrivel our prayers and religious exercises.

May it please the great Husbandman [The LORD]  to avert [turn away] so serious a calamity.

Shine, blessed Sun of Righteousness, and drive the blights [spoilers] away.

*Death personified as a black horse

A SINNER’S PRAYER:   … FOR WHOSOEVER: [For One and all]

Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved     … pray like this, won’t you?

“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am hopeless.  I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross for my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity condemned to Hell. I have been  self-centered from birth.  Please forgive me.

I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m guilty and sorry for each and every sin I have done and look to You to forgive me of them all.
I look to You, alone  Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You,  Lord Jesus, right now to save me.  You died on the cross for me, because of my sin  and You say,  “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21.

Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me,  I trust You, to  be my Lord and Savior from now on.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins.  I ask You to abide in me and give me the desire to always follow You.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross.  Even the sins of the whole world.

Thank you,  Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me even before I was born and that You still love me now. I love You too.

Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You have called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting  in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave. Romans  8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [Holy Ghost, Comforter, Spirit of Truth]

Thank You for saving me heavenly Father. With all my heart, thank you Father for saving me in Jesus’ name,  Amen.

Allow us to share the joy of your new birth with heaven. Won’t you? Heaven rejoices over each redeemed sinner. Luke 15:7

In defense of the Masoretic Hebrew of the Old Testament and the GreekTextus Receptus:

The Incomplete and unsealed codices of Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are not translated from the majority texts, [Original Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus]. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus present variant, ambiguous and erroneous readings rather than that of the well-established and settled texts. They disagree often with one another as well as with the settled majority texts. Thus, an attempt to create a pretext that will continue to justify a never-ending demand for additional editions and interpretations. These unsettled differences and bias in certain sectarian doctrine [dogma] have led to the production of multiple “modern” editions with ambiguities, many variant readings and confusion from the explosion of unending, new editions.

Profit-driven publishers have embraced such an economic windfall to sell a continual flow of “new and better” English edition of The Bible. They give too little attention to the fidelity and accuracy already settled [in heaven] in majority manuscripts of the Masoretic Hebrew and the  Greek Textus Receptus.

Psalm 119:89-90

ל Lamed

89 Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations:

thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. [abides]

God, Himself, providentially protects and preserves His Word. His Word is the God-breathed, self-authenticating, immutable [unchanging and unchangeable], eternal, inerrant, infallible, infinite and all-powerful Word, settled in heaven. He is not the author of confusion.

1 Corinthians 14:33

Our Prayer: Dear Lord, empower your ministry to win many souls, and serve those in need, especially those in the household of faith, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Disclaimer: The John Mark Publishing Company does not solicit praise of Charles H. Spurgeon or his writing or preaching. He didn’t need or want it then and wouldn’t desire it now. Our aim is to lift up and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to preach Christ Jesus only and him crucified.

Precaution: These Messages and prayers will not substitute for continual fellowship with the Lord Jesus or for gathering in in-person worship. Neither will they replace personal reading, meditation, prayer and fasting over God's divinely preserved and eternal Word imparted by the Holy Spirit.

The Authorized King James Version (AKJV), also known as the Authorized Version (AV), is the authentic English Bible because it is rendered [translated into English] accurately and faithfully from the established majority of the Greek Textus Receptus [received text] manuscripts of the New Testament and the Hebrew Masoretic Text of the Old Testament (The Jewish Tanakh)  These manuscripts are providentially protected of God, and always give a greater glory to God when compared to variant readings. The established majority manuscripts avoid doctrinal error, inaccuracies in translation, uninspired editorial notations, variant or ambiguous readings taken from Codices Vaticanus, or Sinaiticus.

The Authorized King James version is unique also in that the requirement of Great Brittan that all King James bibles be printed only by the Cambridge University Press, The Crown’s Authorized Printer. No other [person or publisher] may print, copy or import the King James Bible into Great Brittan by order of the Crown.

Printed Prayer: Printed prayers must not be read or offered as a substitute for personal, fervent, effectual, heart-felt, prayer. They are offered, rather, to warm the hearts of those who will presently seek a season of fervent, authentic two-way, heart-to-heart fellowship and prayer with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Authentic revelations from God during prayer are always consistent with His revealed Word, the Bible.

Preaching Preparation: When preparing to preach, please send us the text reference that has been chosen if you would like us to send the Spurgeon Sermon addressing the same text.

My Prayer is that You would touch, lift up, encourage and teach all who faithfully minister your Word. Bless all who minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. May Your blessing and holy anointing fall fresh upon each dear reader and abide with each one who rightly divides and faithfully proclaims Your Word [The Bible]. Please save many souls; and may all be glory be yours alone. I pray this in the name of our Redeemer, The Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

MISSION STATEMENT:
Our aim, with God’s  help,  is to be Christlike in all that we think, do and say. We desire to fulfill the Great Commission by taking the GOOD NEWS of Salvation by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ [The Messiah] to every creature, and to make disciples and baptize  them in the name of the Father, the Son  and the Holy Ghost.

Published Titles written by Spurgeon are included each day in DailySpurgeon.com

 Devotions are:

·       C.H. Spurgeon Prayers

·       Spurgeon’s  Illustrative Anecdotes

·       Faith’s Checkbook

·       Morning & Evening

These titles are from the inspired body of work created from the preaching and writing of Charles Haddon Spurgeon 1834-1892. He created an unexcelled  legacy of gospel preaching and exposition and is known as the “Prince of Preachers”.  Spurgeon has been and is today widely read with great benefit from the 1800’s to this present time. He is the beloved founder of the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, England (Thriving TODAY through the faithful preaching of the Gospel and the Sacred Worship of Jesus the Christ [Messiah].)

Prayer: Lord Jesus, please be blessed by the winning of many souls, and give us love and compassion toward all who are in need, especially those in the household of faith. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and for His sake, Amen.

Disclaimer: The John Mark Publishing Company does not praise or exalt  Charles H. Spurgeon beyond the honor due him. He didn’t need or want it when he was here on earth and has no need for it now, in Heaven. Our aim is to lift up and glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and to preach HIM and Him crucified.

Precaution: These Devotional Messages and prayers alone can not substitute for continual fellowship with the Lord Jesus. Neither do they replace personal reading, meditation, prayer and fasting over God's divinely preserved and eternal Word. (The King James version (KJV), also known also as the Authorized Version (AKJV), is the preferred English Bible because its accuracy and fidelity to the Greek Textus Receptus [received text] and the Hebrew Masoretic Text) avoid doctrinal and editorial weakness found in many contemporary editions.

Written Prayers by Spurgeon must not be offered as a substitute for personal, intimate fervent, heart-felt, prayer. They are rather intended to warm the hearts of those who are seeking a season of authentic two-way, heart-to-heart  fellowship and prayer with the Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit.

TODAY’S SERMON:

The Kind of Prayer God Hears   Psalm 65   with Dr.  Peter Masters

True atheism is rare. Everyone prays at some time, but how? Here are prayers that fall to the ground, and why, contrasted with the kind that God has promised to answer. To know these things is to know how to approach and find God in a true and personal way.

The above link is to search for specific words or Scriptures in the King James inerrant and infallible  English Version  (KJV)  because it is providentially protected and preserved by GOD Himself through the only translation into English by faithful brethren from the 5,312 established majority text manuscripts MT from which the New Testament  Greek Textus Receptus [received text] was taken  and the Hebrew Masoretic Text of the Old Testament (Jewish Tanakh).  These manuscripts are providentially protected, and frequently give greater glory to God when compared to variant readings of all modern translations from Modern Critical Texts based on only 55 hand picked inferior Greek manuscripts fabricated from either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. Both of these Greek textual sources follow an assumption that OLDER IS BETTER. Of course, this assumption is not valid if the older manuscripts contain error.

The established majority manuscripts and the Textus Receptus avoid doctrinal error, and inaccuracies in translation, uninspired editorial notations, variant or ambiguous readings which taken from Codices Vaticanus, or Sinaiticus.

Copyright: The King James Version is distinguished by the requirement of Great Brittan that all King James bibles be printed by the Cambridge University Press, the Crown’s authorized printer. In the United States there is no Copyright protection and the KJV  is deemed Public Domain. If a new publication changes at least a 10% of an existing  publication a lucrative Copyright can be granted. Therefore  the NKJV and many other copyrighted translations. Only the King James Version New Testament is unique from among the over 100 English translations that follow modern textual criticism and only the King James is translated from the superior Greek Textus Receptus as its Primary time tested and self-authenticating Greek text Source.

DEFENDING  THE  KING JAMES BIBLE    by the Millennium Bible Institute

This video presents the truth  for those who seek to learn about and use the providentially protected, preserved and immutable Holy Bible that is both inerrant [without error] and infallible and gives God alone, the utmost praise, and the greatest glory due to HIMSELF. Praise and worship are rightfully insisted upon and commanded in God’s  inspired [God-Breathed (Spoken) Word from God himself.
HOLY WORDS  that were given by God through the Holy Ghost, word by word, to His  Holy Prophets and Apostles comprise all eternal Holy Scripture. (Matthew 5:18)

HOW HAS  THE MAJORITY TEXT AND  THE TEXTUS RECEPTUS BEEN PROVIDENTIALLY PROTECTED AND PRESERVED?

The inspired, god breathed, immortal words, were  uttered, word-by-word, to the  holy prophets and apostles who were chosen of God and moved by the holy ghost. These words are protected and preserved in holy scripture and are written word-by-word and are immutable, [unchangeable] without error, and infallible [incapable of making a mistake or being wrong]. and for ever [sic] settled in heaven by God himself in the self authenticating word of god, itself.

The Authorized (King James) Holy Bible.

89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

 Psalm 119:89

Authorized (King James) Version:

21For the prophecy [prophecies] came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:

* Letters from close relatives are quoted in the Inside Story above

The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,

thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on a defective text. Those who want to honor the Word of God must not promote the use of any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely  evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved, without error unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it would be to Him if His people now chose instead to use versions that are  based on  defective Greek manuscript  created by Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Aland.

Let the biblical story of Nadab and Abihu be a lesson for us all:

And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace. And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp. So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said. And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled” (Lev 10:1–6).

All Bible versions NOT  translated from the Textus Receptus [The (traditional) Received Greek Text] include variant  readings that diminish the full  glory and the most Holy reverence due to Almighty GOD, that He preserves and protects it immutably  in the 1769 Edition of the 1611 King James Version  KJV Bible. This version is also known as the Authorized King James  Version  AKJV and the  Authorized Version AV. ALL GLORY is due to and must be given to the Omnipotent Lord of ALL.

The Geneva Bible was also faithfully translated from the Greek Textus Receptus and included  comments favorable to the Protestant Reformation  from inspired, devoted,  faithful Christian men of GOD; They were Puritan Believers known to be  beyond reproach.

This Bible was first brought to Plymouth Massachusetts  in the American Colonies by the Puritan Pilgrims guided by Captain Christopher Jones’s on the Mayflower sailing ship in 1620. A 1592 Edition of the Geneva Bible that belonging to a Mayflower passenger and the Governor of the Plymouth Colony (Later to become the State of   Massachusetts) by William Bradford and is on display at the Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the oldest continuously operating public museum in the United States.

The traditional Textus Receptus [Received Greek Text] unlike any other Greek Text was taken  from more than 5,321 original Majority Greek Manuscripts MT that agree 98% with one another. Other variant readings are translations invented by  either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. These fabricated Greek Texts were translated from only a handful [45] of Majority Text Manuscripts MT and  lack the  trustworthiness of  the inspired 1769 [1611] King James Version, KJV or the Geneva Bible and are the only two translations of the traditional, reliable, inspired, [GOD BREATHED] immutable and providentially and divinely protected Textus Receptus.

The Bridge to Babylon video presents evidence that tracks the explosion of more than 100 new versions of English translations  of the Bible. The continuing attempts to replace, add or take away from the 1769 King James Version of the Holy Bible does not  prevail because GOD Himself preserves and protects The  inspired, inerrant, immutable and infallible  Holy Word of GOD from all heresy, blasphemy, confusion , errors, additions, subtractions or changes.

Can   DAILYSPURGEON  be trusted? Is it trustworthy?

Is it of God?

YES!   Here’s why.

1 John 4:1-3

Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everyone or !everything] you hear but be testing the spirit [voice] whether it is of God: because many false prophets have gone [come] out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses [avows] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come[who came] out of God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not [doesn’t audibly avow] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

I therefore must and do audibly confess,  that Jesus Christ is come  [is here]  in the flesh.

[All translations of the Bible that use a Greek text other than the traditional and faithful Textus Receptus ignore the Greek word “ictin” [the Greek word that means “is” in English].  This omission causes the meaning of “is here” to  be changed from “is” come” [is here] to “has” come”.

This error is self-evident because non-believers, false prophets, atheists or heretics can, and frequently do, affirm that Jesus Christ “has come” [in the flesh].

While this is a true statement, when taken at face value, the  meaning  “has come” is clearly not the same as “is here”; which is the valid, scriptural test of  discernment to know if words are from the Spirit of God or the spirit of antichrist.

The most well documented fact in all of human history is that the Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah]  “has” come in the flesh. However, the question of much greater importance,  is not whether the spirit [a spoken or written word] being considered and tested confesses that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh but, whether the confession being made affirms that Jesus Christ, “is come” [is here], from God, in the flesh.

Ephesians 5:30-32

30 for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I [The Apostle Paul]  speak concerning Christ and the church.  [The body of CHRIST]

_____________________________________________________________

“I speak concerning Christ and the church.” [the fleshly embodiment, here and now ,  of the body of Christ]. Because  followers of Jesus Christ are members of the incarnate Body of Christ [The Church] I affirm and avow that Jesus Christ is here [Not “Has come”] in the flesh.

Compare and consider [Meditate on] scripture with scripture:  Precept upon precept, Line upon line…
Isaiah 28:10-14

Isaiah Chapter 28

1Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one [crown of pride] , which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

5 In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth [sits]  in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11 For with stammering [stuttering] lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

14 Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, [totally  voided]  and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

19 From the time that it goeth [goes] forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only [merely] to understand the report.

20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.

21 For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth  [very angry] as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord God of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

24 Doth [does] the plowman plow all day to sow? doth [does] he open and break the clods of his ground?

25 When he hath [has] made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, [black’ cumin]  and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie [rye] in their place?

26 For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.

27 For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.

28 Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.

29 This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

PRAYER 15, Part 7 of 9 November 14th

THE PEACE OF GOD.

He has brought us into covenant [divine promise] with Him by a covenant which can never fail, so like David we may say this morning:

“Although my house be not so with God, yet He hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and sure.”

Lord, bless Thy Word throughout the world. Prosper all missions amongst the heathen, all work among the Mohammedans [Islamist]; and, oh! send Thy grace to the churches at home.

Turn the current of thought which sets so strong in the wrong direction, and bring men to love the simplicities of the Gospel [The Good news that  Jesus, the Messiah Saves sinners].

Remember our country in great mercy, and in all ranks and conditions of men do Thou [You do] give the blessing.

[We ask this In the wonderful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.]

ANECDOTE 104: November 14th   Folly of  “the Blues.” [being depressed]
A sick and suffering brother rebuked me the other day for being cast down. [depressed]

He said to me, “We ought never to show the white feather: but I think you do sometimes.” I asked him what he meant, and he replied, “You sometimes seem to grow [become] desponding and low. Now I am near to die, but I have no clouds and no fears.” I rejoiced to see him so joyous, and I answered, “That is right, my brother, blame me as much as you please for my unbelief, I richly deserve it.” “Why,”  [“Well,”]  he said, “you are the father of many of us. Did you not bring me and my friend over yonder to Christ?  “If you get low in spirit after so much blessing, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.”  I could say no other than,

“I am ashamed of myself, and I desire to be more confident in the future.”

Brethren, we must hope, and not fear.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK  November 14th

THE NAME TO USE by  C.H. Spurgeon 1834-1892

-If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it-   John 14:14
-Si algo [cualesquiera]  pidiereis en mi nombre, yo lo haré-  Juan 14:14

What a wide promise! Anything! Whether large or small, all my needs are covered by that word   -anything.-  Come, my soul, be free at the mercy seat, and hear thy Lord saying to thee,  -Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.-  What a wise promise! We are always to ask in the name of Jesus. While this encourages us, it also honors Him. This is a constant plea. Occasionally every other plea is darkened, especially such as we could draw from our own relation to God, or our experience of His grace; but at such times the name of Jesus is as mighty at the throne as ever, and we may plead it with full assurance. What an instructive prayer!

I may not ask for anything to which I cannot put Christ’s  hand and seal.

I dare not use my Lord’s name to a selfish or willful [what I want] petition. I may only use my
Lord’s  name to prayers which He would Himself pray if He were in my case [circumstance]. It is a high privilege to be authorized to ask in the name of Jesus as if Jesus Himself asked; but our love to Him will never allow us to set that name where He would not have set [put] it.   Am I asking for that which Jesus approves?

Dare I put His seal [name] to my prayer?  Then I have that which I seek [desire] of the Father.

Prayer: Thank You Lord Jesus that You will do anything we ask, in Your name; in harmony with your authority and will. Help us to associate Your name always in ways that bring only honor and glory to You.  I ask this in Your Holy name, Lord Jesus,  Amen.

The Lord … is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9

Pray also that believers will be taught by the Holy Spirit to rightly divide God’s eternal Word preserved by God, Himself.

John 3:16
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten [supernaturally fathered] Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but may be having eternal life.

vis. Textus Receptus [The Received Greek Text] (From an overwhelming majority of extant New Testament Greek manuscripts)

The Incomplete codices Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are not included in the majority texts [Masoretic and Textus Receptus]. They present variant and ambiguous readings from that of  the overwhelmingly well-established majority texts.  They disagree often with one another as well as with the settled majority texts thus, providing a pretext attempting to justify the need for additional translations.  These unsettled differences and bolstering of certain sectarian doctrine [dogma] have produced ambiguities, many variant readings and confusion from the explosion of unending, new translations.

Publishers cash-in by marketing the “new and better”,  never ceasing, English translations of The Bible, [World’s best seller of all time] with too little consideration for maintaining the fidelity and accuracy already settled from the majority manuscripts of the Masoretic Hebrew and the Textus Receptus Greek.

God, Himself, has and will always preserve His immutable [unchanging and unchangeable], eternal, inerrant, infallible, infinite and all-powerful Word.

MORNING  November 14th
"I will cut off them that worship and that swear by the Lord, and that [also] swear by [King]  Malcham.[national idol of the Ammonites] "— Zephaniah 1:5

 Exterminaré a los que se inclinan jurando por Jehová y jurando por su rey [Malcus]  Sofonías 1:5

SUCH persons thought themselves safe because they were with both parties: they went with the followers of Jehovah, but bowed at the same time to Malcham.

But duplicity is abominable with God—His soul hates hypocrisy [double mindedness]. The idolater who distinctly gives himself to his false god, has one sin less than he who brings his polluted and detestable sacrifice to the temple of the Lord while His heart is with the world and its sins.

To hold [keep company] with the hare [rabbit] and run with the hounds is a dastard's  [evil and cowardly]   policy. In the common matters of daily life a double-minded man is despised, but in religion he is loathsome to the last degree. The penalty pronounced in the verse before us is terrible, but it is well deserved; for how should divine justice spare the sinner, who knows the right, approves it, and professes to follow it, but all the while loves the evil and gives it dominion in his heart?

My soul, search yourself this morning, and see whether you are guilty of double dealing. You profess to be a follower of Jesus—do you truly love Him?  Is your heart right with God? Are you of the family of old Father Honest, or are you a relative of Mr. By-ends [characters “personified” in John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress  the one [Father Honest] portraying complete honesty but the other [Mr. By-ends]  believed that the end justified the means]?   [For] A name to live is of little value if it be indeed dead in trespasses and sins. To have one foot on the land of truth, and another on the sea of falsehood, will involve a terrible fall and a total ruin.[Jesus] Christ will be all or nothing.  God fills the whole universe, and hence there is no room for another god; if He reigns in my heart, then there will be no space for another reigning power. Do I rest alone on Jesus crucified and live alone for Him? Is it my desire to do so? Is my heart set on so doing? If so, blessed be the mighty grace which has led me to salvation; and if not so,

0 Lord, pardon my sad offense, and unite my heart to fear Your name.

 EVENING   November 14th

"And Laban said, It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn. "— Genesis 29:26
—Y Labán respondió: No se hace así en nuestro lugar, que se dé la menor antes de la mayor— Génesis 29:26

WE do not excuse Laban for his dishonesty, but we do not hesitate to learn from the custom [his culture] which he quoted as his excuse. There are some things that must be taken in order, and if we would win the second we must secure the first. The second may be the more lovely in our eyes, but the rule of the heavenly country must stand, and the elder must be married first.

For instance, many men desire the beautiful and well favored Rachel of joy and peace in believing,  but they must first be wedded [married] to the tender-eyed  Leah of repentance. Every one falls in love with happiness, and many would cheerfully serve twice [two times] seven years to enjoy it, but  according to the rule of the Lord's kingdom, the Leah of real holiness must be beloved of our soul before the Rachel of true happiness can be attained.

Heaven stands not first but second, and only by persevering to the end can we win a portion in it. The cross must be carried before the crown can be worn. We must follow our Lord in His humiliation, or we shall never rest with Him in glory.

My soul, what do you say, are you so vain as to hope to break through the heavenly rule? Do you hope for reward without labor, or honor without toil? Dismiss the idle expectation, and be content to take the ill-favored things for the sake of the sweet love of Jesus, which will recompense for all.

In such a spirit, laboring and suffering, you will find bitters grow sweet, and hard things easy. Like Jacob, your years of service will seem to you but a few days for the love you have for Jesus; and when the dear hour of the wedding feast shall come, all your toils shall be as though they had never been

—an hour with Jesus will make up for ages of pain and labor.

Jesus, to win Thyself so fair,

Thy cross I will with gladness bear:
Since so the rules of heaven ordain,

The first I'll wed the next to gain.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Ecclesiastes 12:13

… Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Our solemn  aim is to trust and obey the Lord Jesus in everything. We must rely upon God completely to achieve His purposes for and through us.

Loving and worshiping God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength in Spirit and in truth is a labor of love and duty of every believer. Desire will grow stronger as we give ourselves to prayer, reading and meditating on God’s Word, gathering ourselves together to hear Gospel preaching,  the singing of Psalms, sacred hymns and spiritual songs.

We purpose, with God’s help,  to reach the lost, comfort, strengthen and encourage believers, and  rightly divide God’s Word to proclaim the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ to every creature.

The Holy Bible is God’s eternal, inerrant, infallible, immutable revealed and divinely preserved Word.  It is His completed scripture  of all revealed truth.  He brings guidance and the knowledge of His will to us personally and to each local body of Christian believers through His Word. With God’s help and empowerment, we will read, study, meditate-on, trust-in  and obey God’s Holy Bible and encourage others to do the same. We hold it to be the supreme authority and the preeminent and divinely established precedent [ Stare Decisis   Latin: to stand by that which is decided, the legal doctrine of precedence, literally "to stand by decided matters"] in all things.

Therefore, the purpose of The John Mark Publishing Company is to publish the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature. And, to serve all, in love, especially those in the household of faith. We are compelled by this purpose to follow, and rightly apply and proclaim, God’s Holy Word, the Bible, as God’s divinely preserved truth; being the essential authority and goal of this ministry.

The Metropolitan Tabernacle:
The  inspired preaching, teaching, soul winning and writings of Charles Haddon Spurgeon were solely based, empowered and inspired by God’s Holy Word the Bible.  His written sermons and devotional messages continue to benefit today’s readers through authentic  Gospel preaching and sound biblical teaching. His ministry continues to flourish from the original (Spurgeon’s)  Metropolitan Tabernacle a church begun in 1650.  The present  building was constructed in 1861 and rebuilt after the destruction during the second world war.

Mission Aim: Spurgeon's sermons and devotional messages have edified the church body and have been a great benefit, to all readers for many years.  We pray they will be useful to strengthen personal discipleship in every believer and to spread the Gospel [Good news] of Jesus Christ, the Messiah to every person.

The Gospel in brief:

  • God is infinitely Holy and good. (He is the God of all grace.  He is not willing that any should perish)

  • Man is bad. (Totally depraved, hopeless and lost)

  • God made provision (Through the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ to save each lost one who will come)  Whosoever will [whoever wants to] may come. This means you too.  After you come, you will see that you were saved before the foundation of the world)

Menu and Calendars:  (Scroll up on Home page of DailySpurgeon.com to follow daily worship through preaching,  praying, scripture reading, meditation and the singing of sacred songs.  Fidelity to all of Spurgeon’s original text and calendared dates have been carefully maintained.

Spurgeon Publications from which  DailySpurgeon  Print Selections have been made:

  • C.H. Spurgeon Prayers

  • Spurgeon’s  Illustrative Anecdotes

  • Faith’s Checkbook

  • Morning & Evening

These Spurgeon publications display an unmatched legacy of Gospel preaching and devotional encouragement from scripture from the anointed heart of Charles H. Spurgeon   His preaching was heard by multiple thousands in the 1800’s and he continues to be widely read and often quoted today.

Soul Winning is the chief goal of this ministry.  Charles Spurgeon, beloved former-pastor of the Metropolitan Tabernacle  demonstrated a life time of gospel preaching and Soul Winning.  You may live-stream worship services from the Tabernacle with Dr. Peter Masters, pastor since 1960 in London, U.K.  Join us, won’t you?

Worldly influence, music and uncertain riches must not compromise Gospel Preaching and Worship and believers must adhere to the preaching of sound scriptural doctrine and sacred music to worship in spirit and in truth.

Our Prayer: Dear Lord, use any and all means you choose to save souls. Empower us to serve and minister to the lost and those in need, especially those in the household of faith. Revive, encourage, strengthen, and edify us as we  follow you. Help us to  share You, your lovingkindness, and the Gospel of your salvation.  May we pray fervently with  fasting according to your will and may we be the church triumphant in soul winning, and in all things holy as we follow You. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.

We offer ourselves with gratitude for your sacrifice at calvary, given to provide eternal salvation for all who believe. Accept our thanks for these and all other blessing we humbly ask in Thy name, Amen.

Disclaimer: The John Mark Publishing Company does not solicit praise of  Charles H. Spurgeon or his writing or preaching.  He didn’t need it or want it then and wouldn’t want it now.  Our aim is to lift up and glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and to preach HIM only and Him crucified.

Precaution: These Messages and prayers are not, nor can they be, a substitute for continual fellowship with the Lord Jesus. Nor do they replace personal reading and meditation, prayer and fasting over God's divinely preserved and eternal Word or the gathering together of local believers.

The Authorized King James Bible (AKJV), known also as the Authorized Version (AV), is the preferred English Bible because its accuracy and fidelity to the Greek Textus Receptus [received text] and the Hebrew Masoretic Text)  avoids doctrinal error, ungrounded nuances, editorial notes or unsupportable readings 4efrom other codices.  It is distinguished further by the requirement of Great Britain that all King James bibles be printed only by the Cambridge University Press, the Crown’s authorized printer. By order of the Crown, no other printing of a King James Bible may be imported into or copied in Great Britain.

Printed Prayer: The daily prayer in print does not substitute for personal, fervent, effectual, heart-felt, prayer. It is, rather, to warm the hearts of those who are seeking a season of fervent, authentic two-way, heart-to-heart  fellowship and prayer with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Revelation from God during  prayer is consistent with His revealed Word, the Bible.

Preaching Preparation:  If you would like to review a Spurgeon sermon parallel to biblical texts you may be preparing to teach or preach, please let us know the scripture reference and topic. We will research and send you a  selection with the same scripture reference or the  most closely related topic from Spurgeon’s work. It is our joy to make this available asking only that you give proper authorship credit. [Honor to whom honor is due…]  Thank you.

My Prayer: Dear Father,  please touch, lift up, encourage and teach all who read this.  Bless all ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. May Your blessing and holy anointing fall fresh and continually upon each one who rightly divides and proclaims Your Word. Please save many souls;  all glory to You. I pray this in the name of our only Redeemer, The Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

A SINNERS PRAYER    (FOR WHO SO EVER):
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21

So, pray and call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved   … won’t you?

(Pray out loud and from your heart)

“Lord Jesus, I’m lost.  I’m a selfish, sinful and hopeless sinner.  I cannot save myself. Without you and your willing sacrifice on the cross  to save me, I would be bound for Hell. In my sinfulness I reflect my fallen nature.  Without Your grace, I’m  totally depraved and I sin because I am a sinner. Please save me.

I now realize that doing my best, or being good, or as good as I can, or being better than others or rationalizing or making excuses for myself can never save me.

I look to You, alone  Lord Jesus to save me. I call on You right now to save me.  You died on the cross in my place to pay  for my sin. You say in Your word,  “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21. I call  on Your name, right now Lord Jesus.  I come to You,  just as I am, trusting You to save me. I look to you  as my Lord and Savior.
Please forgive me of all my sin. I’m sorry for each one. Thank you, Lord,  for saving me.  You paid the price, in full,  for all of my sins and the sins of the whole world once and for all by suffering and dying on the cross.
Thank You that You loved me so much that you would die for me.

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for saving me.  Thank You that You  bringing me to see Your love for me and that the wages of sin is death but eternal life is mine through the Lord Jesus Christ who suffered and died as the sacrifice  Lamb of God.

Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead victorious over sin, death and the grave and that in Him I can now be, for all eternity, born again.

Thank you for saving  me. Guide me by the Holy Spirit into all truth and make me into the very image of Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord.   In His name I pray, Amen.

May we celebrate your new birth with you, the angels in heaven and our local body of believers.  Angels in heaven rejoice in the redemption of each sinner who comes to the Lord Jesus.  Write us, won’t you?

A  SINNER’S   PRAYER:

Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21

Pray and call on the name of the Lord Jesus.

Pray like this, won’t you? :

“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner hopeless without You.  I will never be able to save myself. Without your death on the cross to pay my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity condemned in Hell. By nature  and  practice I am a sinner. I’m  totally depraved and  I sin because I am a sinner. Please forgive me.

I realize that doing my best or being as good as possible, or being better than other people or having good excuses can never save me.
I look to You, alone  Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You,  by name,  Lord Jesus, right now to save me.  You died on the cross in my place to pay  for my sin. Your Word says,  “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21. Thank You, Lord.

Right now, I surrender my sinful self  to You,  just as I am, Lord Jesus. I trust You to forgive me and save me and be my Lord and Savior.
Please forgive me for all my sins. I’m sorry for every sin (bad thoughts, words and things I have done) and look to You to forgive me of them all.  I need your strength to overcome sin’s temptations. Thank you for forgiving me.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross.

Thank you Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was born and that You love me still.

Thank you Heavenly Father that You have made the way  of  redemption, forgiveness and  atonement for me  and have drawn me away from sin and death into Life  in Your only begotten son.  He took  my place and suffered my punishment.

Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave. In Christ Jesus there is therefore now no condemnation.

Thank You for saving me heavenly Father and for sending the Holy Spirit for my guidance, comfort  and solemn instruction into all truth,  Amen.”

With all my heart, I thank you Lord Jesus for saving me. In your name, Lord Jesus I pray, Amen.

Please allow us to rejoice over your new birth in the presence of angels in heaven who rejoice over one sinner that repents. Luke 15:10
