Stephen The first Martyr to be Recorded in Scripture
And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.
And they stoned Stephen, [as he was] calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation [grieved] over him.
Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
and when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I , [The Apostle Paul] also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment [clothes] of them that slew him.
Acts 7:60
Authorized (King James) Version
60 And he [Stephen] kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.[forgive them for they know what they do] And when he had said this, he fell asleep [died and went to Heaven forever.]

The inspired preaching, teaching and writings of Charles Haddon Spurgeon are bedrock solid and saturated with God’s revealed Word, the Bible. His written publications continue to benefit readers with inspired Gospel preaching and sound biblical teaching from one whose life was poured out like a drink offering to The Lord Jesus Christ, to whom Charlie was a fully devoted follower. His love of Jesus Christ manifested itself in his unequalled love for and his never-ceasing soul winning efforts toward unsaved multitudes. From one who became known as The Prince of Preachers he remained humble always pointing to Christ, and Him crucified.
His ministry continues to flourish in London’s Metropolitan Tabernacle. (Brief History) a church begun in 1650. The building was constructed by members of the congregation in 1861. It continues to thrive and flourish today.

All versions and editions of the Bible that are NOT translated from the Textus Receptus [The (traditional) Received Greek Text] come bringing variant readings that diminish the full expressions of glory or a diminution of the most Holy reverence due to the Omnipotent, Almighty GOD. He has preserved and continues to preserve and protect the immutability [incapability of mutation or change] in the 1769 Edition of the 1611 King James Version Bible [KJV]. This version is also known as the Authorized Version [AV]. ALL GLORY is due and must be given to the Omnipotent [Almighty] and Omniscient [All-knowing] LORD of ALL.
The Geneva Bible was also translated from the Greek Textus Receptus including comments favorable to the Protestant Reformation from inspired, devoted, faithful Christian men of GOD; Puritan Believers known to be beyond reproach.
This Bible was first brought to Plymouth Massachusetts in the American Colonies by the Puritan Pilgrims guided by Captain Christopher Jones’s on the Mayflower sailing ship in 1620. A 1592 Edition of the Geneva Bible that belonging to a Mayflower passenger and the Governor of the Plymouth Colony (Later to become the State of Massachusetts) by William Bradford and is on display at the Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the oldest continuously operating public museum in the United States.
The traditional Textus Receptus [Received (Greek) Text] unlike any other Greek Text was taken from more than 5,321 original Majority (Greek Manuscript) Text [MT] that agree 98% with one another. Other variant readings are translations invented by either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. These fabricated Greek Texts were translated from only a handful [45] of Majority Text Manuscripts MT and lack the trustworthiness of the inspired 1769 [1611] King James Version, KJV or the Geneva Bible and are the only two translations of the traditional, reliable, inspired, [GOD BREATHED] immutable and providentially and divinely protected Textus Receptus [TR]

Bridge to Babylon The 1881 Textual Criticism Controversy

(169 mins.)
The definitive and historical video documentary Bridge to Babylon (URL above) presents evidence that tracks the explosion of more than 100 new Critical Text editions of English translations of the Bible. The attempts to change the Bible by adding to, or taking away from the 1769 edition of the King James Version [KJV] of the Holy Bible will not prevail because GOD Himself preserves and protects His inspired [God Breathed, Spoken] , inerrant, immutable [incapability of any change] and infallible [incapable of error] Holy Word from any and all heresy, blasphemy, confusion , error, additions to, or subtractions from the WORD of GOD. The traditional text founded from the Greek Textus Receptus accounts for more editions and sales than any other Greek text or edition of the Holy Bible worldwide.

BCE/CE vs. BC/AD Is there a difference?
defend the Truth. Won’t you?
*A.D. does NOT mean “After Death” as many mistakenly believe. It is Latin for Anno Domini, a phrase adopted into English usage that means “Year of [the] Lord”. The complete original phrase "anno Domini nostri Jesu Christi" means "in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ”. A.D. together with B.C. Before Christ divides all history into before and after the birth of Jesus the Christ [Messiah].

Can the Website DAILYSPURGEON be trusted? Is it trustworthy?
Is it of God?
YES, it can! Yes, it is! Here’s why.
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everyone or !everything] you hear but be testing the spirit [voice] whether it is of God: because many false prophets have gone [come] out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses [avows] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come[who came] out of God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not [doesn’t audibly avow] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore I do audibly confess, that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh.
[All translations of the Bible using Greek translations other than the traditional and faithful Textus Receptus do not contain the Greek word “ictin”. This word means “is” in English] and its exclusion causes the meaning of its English equivalent, “is here” to change from “is” come” [is here] to “has” come”.
This error is self-evident because non-believers, false prophets, atheists and even heretics can, and frequently do, affirm that Jesus Christ “has come” [in the flesh].
While this is a true statement, when taken at face value, the meaning of “has come” is clearly not the same as “is here”. When has come is the meaning the scriptural test to discern whether the words being analyzed are from the Spirit of God or the spirit of antichrist is completely negated.
One of the most well documented facts in all history of humanity is that Jesus Christ [The Anointed Messiah] “has” come in the flesh. However, the question of much greater importance, is not whether the spirit [a spoken or written word] confesses that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh but, whether this confession affirms that Jesus Christ, “is come” [is here], in the flesh.
Now, please Compare and consider [Meditate upon] this scripture with other scriptre that relates to it, other relative scripture: Precept upon precept, Line upon line…
Isaiah 28:10-14

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I [The Apostle Paul] speak concerning Christ and the church. [The body and Bride of CHRIST]
“I speak concerning Christ and the church.” [the fleshly embodiment, here and now, of the body of Christ]. Because followers of Jesus Christ are members of the incarnate Body of Christ [The Church] I affirm and avow that Jesus Christ is here
[Not “Has come”] in the flesh.

Which Bible Is The Best? (57 min.) David Hocking
THE HOLY WORD of GOD is :
Immutable, [unchangeable and, incapable of mutation or change]
Inspired, [God breathed, spoken],
Infallible,[Incapable of failing, making a mistake or being wrong]
Inerrant [Without error]
Self-Authenticating [The Bible is considered to be self-authenticating because proponents who believe it to be so know it contains inherent divine qualities—Such qualities are unity, majesty, power, and internal consistency—that reveal its divine origin, that convinces readers of its truth without relying on external historical proof or church testimony.
This concept, championed by the Reformation, know that the Holy Spirit illuminate:
the "heavenliness of its matter," the "efficacy of its doctrine," and the "majesty of its style" within the text itself, allowing God's Word to be received directly, the same way as seeing God's glory in Christ.]
Providentially Protected and Divinely Preserved
Psalm 12:6-7: 6 The words of the Lord are pure words:
as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them [Thy Words] , O Lord, thou shalt preserve them [Thy Words] from this generation for ever. (AKJV).
Isaiah 40:8: 8 The grass withereth, [withers] the flower fadeth [fades] :but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (AKJV).
Matthew 5:18: 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (AKJV).
Matthew 24:35: 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (AKJV).
1 Peter 1:23: 23 being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (AKJV).
1 Peter 1:25: 25 but the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. (AKJV).
Psalm 119:89: 89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven, Psalm 119:89). (AKJV).
The Authorized King James Version (AKJV) also known as The Authorized Version (AV) and The Geneva Bible are faithful English Translations from the preeminent, [surpassing all others], traditional Greek translation of the Textus Receptus [Received Text] that self-authenticates. It’s superior to all Modern Critical Text translations or editions God-breathed [spoken] fidelity from ALMIGHTY GOD.
John 1:1: 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Which Bible Is The Best? (57 min.) David Hocking
(8 min.) The problem behind Bible translations is not English. The issue is what Greek text was being used. I believe the true Author is The Holy Spirit. I believe this is the Word of God… We need to understand that The word of GOD in and of itself is power. Power to change your life and through the work of the Holy Spirit can produce the New Birth. We are born again of an incorruptible seed of the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever.
- David Hocking
John 1:1-3 1In the beginning was he Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in he beginning with God. 3 all things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
(AKJV) The Authorized Version AKJV Translation was faithfully translated by fully consecrated, and dedicated, preeminent linguists, language scholars who were fully devoted followers of The Lord Jesus Christ. The 1611 King James translation is from the inerrant, inspired and immutable Textus Receptus [Received Text]:
Psalm 119:89 ל (Lamed) For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
“Thy Word” is The Inspired and Ultimate Stare Decisis [A Latin phrase used in Legal terminology that establishes the principle of “Legal Precedence” that means to stand by things decided, and with reference to Holy Scripture, to uphold all things God-Breathed [Inspired] and therefore eternally and immutably decided]
4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth [says] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore, I now confess that “Jesus Christ is here in the flesh.”
[All other English translations of the Bible that use Greek manuscripts other than the Textus Receptus erroneously renders the English translation “Has come”.
This Translation error is because inferior Greek manuscripts do not include the Greek word “ictin” (This is The Greek word for is that is found only in the Majority Text of the Textus Receptus) and therefore the failure to correctly translate “ictin” [Is Here] into English.
The Authorized King James Version AKJV also known as The Authorized Version AV and the Geneva Bible stand alone in making and giving the correct translation: “is here”.
This error: “has come” is self-evident, because non-believers, false prophets and even heretics can, and sometimes will, make the confession that He “has come” in the flesh. This is no surprise because the birth of Jesus Christ is the most well documented fact in all of recorded history. Indeed, it is a true and factual statement that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. Yet, while this is, a true and factual statement, the meaning in scripture has now been erroneously changed. The new and erroneous meaning is that now even if He “has come” in the flesh the confession that JESUS CHRIST IS HERE IN THE FLESH is still impossible for THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST who creates all heresy to make. Without it, Don’t believe anything that is said.
NEITHER does it provide for the test for believers to discern whether a spirit [voice or written words being read or heard] are either from God or from antichrist. It is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, but it’s essential and of the utmost importance, that the confession that Jesus Christ, “IS HERE IN THE FLESH” Be confessed [be spoken audibly.]

By Reading, comparing and meditating on any specific Scripture together with other relevant Scriptures, God’s Word clarifies and self-authenticates:
Therefore we study:
1 John 4:1-3 with Ephesians 5:30-32
Authorized (King James) Version
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
30: for we are members of his [Jesus Christs’] body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and His bride the church.
[We are members of His body, flesh and bones, one flesh with Him, as His bride the church].
He was born of a virgin 2026 years ago, and HE lives today,
and He is coming soon for His bride; The Church.
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory. "1 Timothy 3:16

It should be the desire of every born-again believer to worship God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, in Spirit and in truth.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [accurately sharing] the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
To this end, Heavenly Father, we pray that You will bless all who visit this website and bring many to confess the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
This Website does not replace nor can it be a substitute for the in-person, personal assembling of ourselves together. Hebrews 10:23-27
Rather, the Website’s purpose is to save lost sinners and to teach and encourage believers through God’s Word and prayer to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ [The Anointed Messiah] in personal discipleship an00d worship of the Lord Jesus as we are being conformed to His very image.
“For whom God did foreknow he did also predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son…” Romans 8:29
We are, instructed in the Word of GOD to assemble, praise and worship God. Thus, we must assemble and worship the Lord Jesus Christ and exhort [encourage] and provoke one another to do good works.
Such worship may take place through, congregational singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs, reading, preaching and obeying God’s Word, sharing Christian love and fellowship, agreeing together with specific public prayer requests, and reading and exhorting one another in the Word, to provoke one another to love and serve and bear witness with one another in the Holy Ghost.
Admonition: Online streaming does not satisfy personal interaction or the warm fellowship of in-person assemblies of brothers and sisters who are in Christ Jesus. Electronic media cannot substitute for the warm inter-personal love, fellowship, commitment, and compassion, nor does it provide for a kind and comforting touch or embrace of another believer. e.g. Laying on of hands, 1 Timothy 4:14; the right hands of Christian fellowship, Galatians 2:9; or an embrace, Acts 20:1; or greeting with a holy kiss,
We give thanks to the Lord, for DailySpurgeon.com and pray that it will continue to be an instrumentality to build up fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. These followers will be taught to be disciples themselves and will then teach others to be disciples. (Fully devoted followers of The Lord Jesus, The Christ [The Anointed Messiah]. )
We pray that you will also be a radiant inspired instrumentality of God to share the good news of Jesus Christ with every one, encouraging them to become the very image of Jesus Christ.
This ministry was begun as daily e-mails of Faith’s Checkbook by Charles H. Spurgeon were sent to Jon Edward Riley. Jon shared these messages with others and soon over 300 were added to the mailing list through his witness as he witnessed and sharing his testimony with them.
Jon was called home by his loving Father in Heaven on January 16, 2021 leaving a legacy of this Website to minister to all who will benefit in this labor of Love to the glorify God and His Eternal Kingdom. ALL Glory belongs to God, alone.
Jon is honored here; giving honor to whom honor is due. Romans 13:7
We pray that many will be born again, challenged, encouraged, and built-up to become fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and be conformed to His image; that they might be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:28-29.

Jon loved to say, “I’m a blood-bought, born-again Child of God!” to anyone he happened to meet or to anyone who would listen.
… Jon’s testimony lives on from one who, by grace, through faith was forever accepted in the Beloved; who’s loving ways brought the good news of Jesus to many. and one who is now present with the LORD in glory forever. One who, one day, we’ll meet again.
Amen.
Jon would sometimes just sing-out some of the following songs on the way to church, or sometimes just singing along with the Elvis Gospel CD that was always in our F-150’s CD player while riding with his Dad or,
Best of all, when an inspired, spontaneous praise from the Lord would just pop out from his joyful, creative, redeemed and loving heart.
Some Songs Jon Loved to Sing:
I Love You Lord by the Gaither choir
I Love You Lord Universal Music Group
I LOVE You Lord by Jared Reynolds
Where No One Stands Alone Gaither Vocal Band
Lead Me & Rock-a My Soul by Elvis and friends
He Knows Just What I Need by Elvis
How Great Thou Art with Elvis
Lead Me & Rock-a My Soul Elvis and friends
Lead Me, Guide Me by Elvis
It Is No Secret by Elvis written by Stuart Hamblen
The following recordings were discovered several months after Jon was called home on January 16th 2021. It’s such a blessing, to hear Elvis sing the Gospel message in song but, of course, it doesn’t compare with the Glory of being in the actual presence of the LORD.

LOVE WITHOUT END, AMEN (A Father’s Love) by George Strait honoring George H.W. Bush (41st President) A favorite song of the President.
It’s also my sincere message of love to all my children, grand-children and great grand-children and all loved ones.
…Jon would always say “Later”; [as in, see-ya later] instead of “good bye”. It was the only farewell greeting he would ever use when parting company with a friend; and, everyone was Jon’s friend.
… He would never say “good-bye”.
Now, as we remember the sound of him saying “Later”, it rings true in a new and deeper meaning and it brings a joy and comfort to the hearts of those whom he loved so well; those who love him still and will forever more.
… and how much sweeter to us now, are the promises in these two Hymns:
’TILL WE MEET AGAIN. (sing along, won’t you?)

A key word has slipped out of some modern translations – the marital debt of benevolence, meaning goodwill and kind benefits. Here are seven debts each has to the other in Christian marriage, a sevenfold bond and blessing to the crowning earthly friendship of life’s journey. Are we paying what is ‘due’?
God’s Order for Man and Women 1 Corinthians Ch 11 Dr. Peter Masters
Paul answers the question on the roles of husbands and wives and affirms conformity to the dress code of head coverings in Greek society at that time. With Calvin and major confessions we show that the ‘message’ of clothing may change in other ages and lands.
Things Only Believers See 1 Corinthians 2:9 Dr. Peter Masters
Sunday Morning 13 February 2022
The apostle impresses upon us the spiritual blindness of the unconverted state to the wonders revealed in the Gospel, including future glories (described here). Here also is the meaning of 'comparing spiritual things with spiritual,' judging all things and living the mind of Christ

Keeping Alive the Spirit Ephesians 2:22 Dr. Peter Masters
Sunday Morning 11 April 2021 (March 17 Sermon)
In the building of a spiritual family the work of the Holy Spirit is the vital power. Here several Holy Spirit verses in Ephesians are explored (including 'Be filled with the Spirit') to show the different activities of the Spirit in the Christian life.
The True Source of Power with Dr. Peter Masters
Sunday Morning 23 January 2022
For the Gospel to be credible, (the Corinthians [and many today] erroneously taught), we need conspicuous personalities or preachers. Here Paul proclaims the true source of spiritual power, the preaching of the cross of Christ, and why it is foolishness to the perishing and power to the saved.

SERMONS: from Spurgeon’s Metropolitan Tabernacle (London, UK)
He Loved and Gave Himself with Dr. Peter Masters
The enduring amazement of Paul the Apostle shines through these famous words, urging us to explore and ponder the glorious Person of Christ and the way in which He 'gave Himself', or handed Himself over, to the work of redeeming His people.

A SINNER’S PRAYER January 28th
PRAYER 6. Part 1of 5 January 28th THE WONDERS [of] CALVARY. [The Cross]
GREAT God [Our Father], there was a time when we dreaded the thought of coming near to Thee, for we were guilty and Thou wast [were] angry with us, but now we will praise Thee because Thine anger is turned away, and Thou comfortest [You comfort] us. Ay, [Yes] and the very throne which once was a place of dread has now become the place of shelter.
I flee [run] unto Thee to hide me. We long [earnestly desire] now to get right away [escape] from the world, even from the remembrance of it, and have fellowship with the world to come, by speaking with Him [with You, Lord] who was [You that have always existed from eternity past] , and is [You who exist in the present], and who is to come [You who shall exist eternally], [You have always existed, outside of any finite [linear] dimension of time] the Almighty.
Lord, we have been worried and wearied oftentimes with care, but with Thee, care comes to an end, all things are with Thee [You], and when we live in Thee we live in wealth, in sure repose [rest], in constant joy.
We have to battle with the sons of men against a thousand errors and unrighteousnesses, but when we flee [run] to Thee, there all [everything] is truth and purity and holiness, and our heart finds peace.
Above all, we have to battle with ourselves, and we are very much ashamed of ourselves. After many years of great mercy, after tasting of the powers of the world to come, we still are so weak, so foolish; but, oh! when we get away from self [and come] to You God, there all is truth and purity and holiness, and our heart finds peace, wisdom, completeness, delight, joy and victory.
[Thank You in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen]

ANECDOTE 179: January 28th EARNESTNESS.
There was a man who strove in the House of Commons for what he thought would be a great boon to seamen, but he could not prevail. At last, he broke through all the rules of the house and acted like a fanatic, and when everybody saw that the man was so in earnest that he was ready to faint and die, they said,
“We must do something”
and it was done.
An enthusiasm which overpowers yourself is likely to overpower others.
FAITH’S CHECKBOOK January 28th [ALL] TEARS SHALL CEASE C.H. Spurgeon
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes- Revelation 21:4
-Y limpiara Dios toda lagrima de los ojos de ellos- Apocalipsis 21:4
Yes, we shall come to this if we are believers. Sorrow shall cease, and tears shall be wiped away. This is the world of weeping, but it passes away. There shall be a new Heaven, and a new earth, so says the first verse of this chapter; and therefore, there will be nothing to weep over concerning the fall and its consequent miseries.
Read the second verse, and note how it speaks of the bride and her marriage. The Lamb’s wedding is a time for boundless pleasure, and tears would be out of place. The third verse says that God Himself will dwell among men; and surely at His right hand there are pleasures for evermore, and tears can no longer flow. What will our state be when there will be no more sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain?
This will be more glorious than we can as yet imagine. O eyes that are red with weeping, cease [stop] your scalding flow, for in a little while ye shall know no more tears! None can wipe tears away like the God of love, but He is coming to do it.
-Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh [comes] in the morning.-
Come, Lord, and tarry not; for now, both men and women must weep!
Prayer: Thank you Father that You will wipe away all tears from our eyes when we come into Your heavenly presence, in Jesus name, Amen.

… and pray that many souls will be saved and that all believers will be strengthened.
The Lord … is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
MORNING January 28th
"PERFECT IN CHRIST JESUS."Colossians 1:2
─Fieles [completa] en Cristo ─Colosenses 1:2
DO you not feel in your own soul [heart] that perfection is not in you? Does not every day teach you that? Every tear trickling from your eye, weeps
"imperfection;"
every sigh bursting from your heart, cries
"imperfection;"
every harsh word proceeding from your lip, mutters
"imperfection."
You have had a view of your own heart too frequently to dream for a moment of any perfection in yourself. But amid this sad consciousness of imperfection, here is comfort for you
—you are, "perfect in Christ Jesus."
In God's sight, you are
"complete in Him:" even now you are
"accepted in the beloved” [in Jesus Christ].
But there is a second perfection, yet to be realized, which is sure to all the seed [believers]. Is it not delightful to look forward to the time when every stain of sin will be removed from the believer, and he will be presented faultless before the throne [of God], without spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing?
The Church of Christ [universal church of all born-again believers in Christ Jesus] then will be so pure that not even the eye of Omniscience [God’s infinite knowledge] will see a spot or blemish in her, so holy and so glorious that Hart did not go beyond the truth when he said,
With my Savior's garments on,
[I’m] Holy as the Holy One.
Then we shall know, and taste, and feel the happiness of this vast but short sentence,
"Complete in Christ."
Not until then shall we fully comprehend the heights and depths of the salvation of Jesus.
Doesn't your heart leap for joy at the thought of it? Black as you are [in sin], you will be white one day; filthy as you are, you will be clean.
Oh, this is a marvelous salvation!
Christ takes a worm and transforms it into an angel;
Christ takes a black and deformed thing and makes it clean and matchless in His glory, peerless in His beauty, and fit to be the companion of seraphs [angels].
O my soul, stand and admire this blessed truth of
perfection in Christ.
EVENING January 28th
"AND THE SHEPHERDS RETURNED, GLORIFYING AND PRAISING GOD FOR ALL THE THINGS THAT THEY HAD HEARD AND SEEN, AS IT WAS TOLD UNTO THEM" Luke 2:20
Y se volvieron los pastores glorificando y alabando á Dios de todas las cosas que habían oído y visto, como les había sido dicho. —St. Lucas 2:20
WHAT was the subject of the shepherds' praise?
They praised God for what they had heard—for the good tidings [news] of great joy that a Savior was born unto them. Let us copy them; let us also raise [sing] a song of thanksgiving that we have heard of Jesus and His salvation.
They also praised God for what they had seen.
There is the sweetest music. What we have experienced, what we have felt within, what we have made our own are
—"the things which we have made touching the King."
It is not enough to hear about Jesus: mere hearing may tune the harp, but the fingers of living faith must create the music. If [or because] you have seen Jesus with the God-given sight of faith, allow no cobwebs to linger among the harp strings, but
loudly awake your psaltery [banjo like instrument] and harp to the praise of sovereign grace.
One point they praised God for was the agreement between what they had heard and what they had seen.
Observe the last sentence:
"As it was told unto them."
Have you not found the gospel to be in yourselves [inside yourself] just what the Bible said it would be?
Jesus said He would give you rest. Have you not enjoyed the sweetest peace in Him? He said you should have joy, and comfort, and life through believing in Him.
Have you not received all these?
Are not His ways, ways of pleasantness, and His paths, paths of peace? Surely you can say with the queen of Sheba,
"The half has not been told me."
I have found Christ
more sweet than His servants ever said He was.
I looked upon His likeness as they painted it, but it was a mere daub [blob of paint] compared with Himself, for
the King in His beauty outshines all imaginable loveliness.
Surely what we have "seen" keeps pace with, No! far exceeds, what we have "heard."
Let us, then, glorify and praise God for a Savior so precious, and so satisfying.
[In His name and for His sake, Amen.]
A SINNER’S PRAYER: January 28th … FOR WHOSOEVER shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you“
Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am lost. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross to pay my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity in Hell. My nature and behavior has been sinful from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m sorry for each and every sin I have ever done and look to You to forgive them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, Lord Jesus, right now to save me. You died on the cross for me, as God’s sacrifice for my sin.
Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me, I trust You to be my Savior and Lord.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins. I want to follow You from now on.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross.
Thank you, Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was born and that You love me still
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is alive and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave.
Thank You for saving me heavenly Father and Holy Spirit for Your comfort and guidance in all things.
With all my heart, thank you Lord Jesus for saving me. In your name, I pray, Amen.

John Bunyan did not write nor hold to a world view of any kind. His inspired work, The Pilgrim’s Progress, known as the world’s most allegory, does not subscribe to any world view at all but proclaims God’s view on everything revealed and forever settled in Heaven Psalm 119:89 in The Holy Bible.
John Bunyan merely, yet ardently believed God’s Word; That it is God-breathed [inspired by God], Self-authenticating, Providentially-protected and propagated immutable [unchanged and unchangeable] , inerrant [without error] , infallible [incapable of being mistaken or of being wrong], indestructible and eternal written Word from GOD Himself for ever settled in Heaven.

BC/AD versus BCE/CE Is there a difference?
Yes. Stand for the Truth, Won’t you?
Jesus Christ [Messiah] (Anointed King)] the LORD GOD was born of a virgin 2025 years ago, was crucified, then rose from the dead, victorious over sin, death and the grave and is here in the flesh from GOD as His Church, The Body of Christ and will live forever, time without end and He, Himself, is coming again.

These continual but unsuccessfulattempts to replace the King James Version KJV Bible will not succeed because GOD Himselfpreserves and protects His Holy Scriptures from all heresy, blasphemy, compromise and confusion.
THE BEST ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE BIBLE:
GOD’S WORD (Immutable, Unchanged and Unchangeable, God breathed, Self-Authenticating. Providentially Preserved and Protected. Forever Settled in Heaven, Psalm 119:89) The Authorized King James Bible
Which Bible Is The Best? David Hocking
The Verdict (8 min.) The problem is not English, but is which Greek text was used to translate the Greek into English. [The Textus Receptus (Received Text) was rendered from 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts known as the Majority Text MT. These manuscripts overwhelmingly agree with one another and do not contain the heretical biases found in the Greek Text of Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland. The Foundational support of these two Greek Texts rest upon only 55 hand-picked manuscripts from the extant Majority Text instead of all 5,321.

DEVOTION for January 28th *A.D. 2025 Written and calendared for this exact date by Charles Haddon Spurgeon 1834-1892.
*A.D. Does NOT mean after death as is commonly believed. It is a Latin abbreviation
for anno Domani (It means “Year of our Lord”.

A SINNER’S PRAYER
PRAYER 6. Part 1of 5 THE WONDERS [of] CALVARY.

ANECDOTE 179: Earnestness.
An enthusiasm which overpowers yourself is likely to over power others.
FAITH’S CHECKBOOK JANUARY 28 [ALL] TEARS SHALL CEASE C.H.

Pray also that believers will be taught by the Holy Spirit to rightly divide God’s eternal Word preserved and protected by God, Himself.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten [supernaturally fathered] Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.John 3:16
The Textus Receptus TR [Received Text] is the faithfully rendered Greek text with strong agreement among the overwhelming majority of the 5,321 extant New Testament, Greek manuscripts known as the MT. [Majority Text].
The Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts of the Old Testament were meticulously copied by hand and checked by the Masoretic scribes. These are the manuscripts from which the Original 1611 King James version was translated onto English.
In order for Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland to have created their new Modern Critical Greek text they selected only 55 from Siniaticus and Vaticanus Texts.
These 55 hand-picked manuscripts from which many variant and inferior readings were brought forth, from their new Greek text were created through highly nuanced readings from Westcott & Hort’s Critical Text theory. Only Fifty-five 55 manuscripts of Sinaiticus and Vaticanus were used to retrofit their newly invented Greek text. These 55 hand-picked and they were not from the primary manuscripts from which the Textus Receptus was rendered but were selected from the inferior Sinaiticus and Vaticanus codices. These fifty-five manuscripts brought variant readings and were created, , to retrofit the creation of alternative Greek text to replace the primary and highly reliable source of the Textus Receptus. Their bias against the Textus Receptus was a spurious, ungrounded and longstanding attack by Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland for many years.
Codices Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are inferior because they are in disagreement with the Textus Receptus and incredibly, in disagreement with one another. They give rise to variant readings and embrace secular doctrine bias not supported by scripture translated from the Majority Text or the Textus Receptus. They have been infused by the invented new Greek text when words for a word-for-word correspondence were absent. from the scant Fifty-five hand-picked and highly prejudicial fraction of the 5,321 Majority Text MT manuscripts occurred.
These newly invented Greek texts were not disclosed to the revision committee themselves as the source of these new Greek translations. A code of secrecy was demanded from each member of the Revision Committee. They supplied this new Greek translation to all Committee members with the aim to revise the King James Bible. However, They insisted on a code of secrecy as to the authorship of the Greek Text from which all Revisions were to be based. All members of the committee were required to agree to this code.
Modern textual criticism is based on the assumption that older manuscripts are, de-facto, more accurate. Actually, the continuous and unsettled changes from their variant readings reflect error, doctrinal ambiguities and biases not supported by the Majority Text or Textus Receptus.
Scripture based on The Greek text of Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Aland embrace a secular or denominational doctrine bias or tradition that allows modern textual criticism to rob God of Sovereignty, Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Immutability, Inerrancy and Infallibility due HIM ALONE and to diminish Glory from the infinite and everlasting “I AM” who is WORTHY, who deserves and demands ALL GLORY!
For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in Heaven. Psalm 119:89
God is not the author of confusion. 1 Corinthians 4:33
GOD, HIMSELF, protects and preserves all of His inspired SCRIPTURE. HIS God-breathed, self-authenticating, immutable [unchanging and unchangeable], eternal, everlasting inerrant,[Without Error] infallible, [Never Fails] infinite [Has always existed from Eternity Past to Eternity Future and all-powerful [Omnipotent] WORD.
MORNING January 28
Christ takes a worm and transforms it into an angel;
Christ takes a black and deformed thing and makes it clean and matchless in His glory, peerless in His beauty, and fit to be the companion of seraphs [angels].
O my soul, stand and admire this blessed truth of
perfection in Christ.
EVENING January 28
A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

SACRED LITERATURE:
ORIGINAL: The Pilgrim’s Progress Pub. by Logos,1853 from 1678 Original by John Bunyan
REVISED TEXT by Barry E. Horner: The Pilgrim’s Progrefs [sic]...
in Pilgrim’s Progress. (Tthe World’s most widely circulated Allegory by John Bunyan, also credited, by some, as being the world’s first English novel.
IT’S FREE. No subscription required. You may choose to read at your own pace, or you may want to view DailySpugeon.com for daily encounters with Pilgrim.)
"Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me [Spurgeon's comment] of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melody] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus; it is our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.
