GOD’S UNSPEAKABLE GIFT.
Just now [Springtime] when the earth is waking up to life, Lord, wake up dead hearts; and if there are seeds of grace lying dormant in any soul may they begin to bud, may the bulb down at the heart send forth its golden cup and drink in of the light, the life of God. Oh! save [souls] today.
“Thy King in the midst of Thee from the center of Your essence is mighty: He will save.”
Our very heart is speaking now much more loudly and sweetly than our lips can speak. Lord, save sinners; great High Priest have compassion on the ignorant and such as are out of the way shoved to one side or ignored. Great Shepherd of the sheep, gather the lambs within Thine arm; find out [discover] the lost sheep ; throw them on Thy shoulders and bring them home rejoicing.

There is the stream of mercy, deep, broad, and clear : you have drunk of it, and are refreshed, but it is as full as ever. It will flow on, will it not? You do not suppose that you and I have dammed up the stream so as to keep it to ourselves. No, it is too strong, too full a stream for that. It will flow on from age to age. God will bless others as he has blessed us. Unbelief whispers that the true church will die out. Do not believe it. Christ will live, and his church will live with him till the heavens be no more. Hath he not said, “Because I live, ye shall live also ?” “Oh,” you say, “but we shall not see such holy men in the next generation as in past ages.” Why not? I hope the next age will see far better men than any of those who are with us at this time. Pray that it may be so. Instead of the fathers, may there be the children, and may these be princes before the Lord!

Yes those wasted years over which we sigh shall be restored to us. God can give us such plentiful grace that we shall crowd into the remainder of our days as much of service as will be some recompense for those years of un-regeneracy [those lost years before we trusted in You, Lord Jesus] over which we mourn in humble penitence.
The locusts of backsliding, worldliness, luke-warmness, are now viewed by us as a terrible plague. Oh that they had never come near us! The Lord in mercy has now taken them away, and we are full of zeal [enthusiasm] to serve Him. Blessed be His name we can raise such harvests of spiritual graces as shall make our former barrenness to disappear. Through rich grace we can turn to account our bitter experience, and use it to warn others.
We can become the more rooted in humility, childlike dependence, and penitent spirituality, by reason of our former shortcomings. If we are the more watchful, zealous, and tender, we shall gain by our lamentable [shameful] losses.
The wasted years, by a miracle of love, can be restored.
Does it seem too great a boon [prize] ? Let us believe for it, and live for it, and we may yet realize it, even as Peter became all the more useful a man after his presumption was cured by his discovered weakness.
Lord, aid us by thy grace.
Prayer: Thank you Lord that -You will restore to us the years that the locust hath [has] eaten- Father, we desire to be renewed daily into a life of useful service and integrity by Your love and grace through Jesus Christ and by empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Help me to be completely yielded to You Lord and to look for the restoration of what has been lost, [backsliding, worldliness, luke-warmness, are now viewed by us as a terrible plague]. Give me faith to abide in You, knowing that You bring full restoration for what the Locust has eaten, and even more, in Your name, Lord Jesus I pray, Amen

"In Him [Jesus Christ] dwelleth [dwells] all the *fullness of the Godhead bodily [Father, Son, and Holy Ghost]. And ye are complete in Him." —Colossians 2:9, 10

ALL the attributes of Christ, as God and Man, are at our disposal. All the fullness of the Godhead, whatever that marvelous term may include, is ours to make us complete. He cannot endow us with the attributes of Deity; but He has done all that can be done, for He has made even His divine power and Godhead subservient to our salvation.
His omnipotence [infinite power],
omniscience [infinite knowledge],
omnipresence [present everywhere at the same time],
immutability [forever unchanged and unchangeable]
and infallibility [the inability to be wrong],
are all combined for our defense.
Arise, believer, and behold the Lord Jesus yoking [being yoked], the whole of His divine Godhead to the chariot of salvation! HOW happy are tried [battle tested and proved] Christians, afterward. No calm is more deep than that which follows a storm.
Who has not rejoiced in clear sunshine after the rain? Victorious banquets are for well-exercised [battle tested] soldiers.
After killing the lion, we eat the honey; after climbing the Hill of Difficulty, we sit down in the arbor [shady covering of trees] to rest; after traversing [traveling] the Valley of Humiliation, after fighting with Apollyon, the shining one [Jesus] appears with the healing branch from the tree of life.
Our sorrows, like the passing keels [wakes] of the vessels upon the sea, leave a silver line of holy light behind them "afterward."
It is peace, sweet, deep peace, which follows the horrible turmoil which once reigned in our tormented, guilty souls. See, then, the happy estate of a Christian! He has his best things last, and he therefore in this world receives his worst things first.
But even his worst things are "afterward" good things, harsh plowings yielding joyful harvests. Even now he grows rich by his losses, he rises by his falls, he lives by dying, and becomes full by being emptied.
If, then, his grievous afflictions yield him so much peaceable fruit in this life, what will be the full vintage of joy "afterward" in heaven? If his dark nights are as bright as the world's days, what will his days be? If even his starlight is more splendid than the sun, what must his sunlight be?
If he can sing in a dungeon,
how sweetly will he sing in heaven!
If he can praise the Lord in the fires,
how will he extol Him before the eternal throne!
If evil be good to him now, what will the over flowing goodness of God be to him then?
Oh, blessed "afterward!" Who would not be a Christian?
Who would not bear the present cross for the crown that comes afterward?
But herein is work for patience, for the rest is not for today, nor the triumph for the present, but
"afterward."
Wait, 0 soul, and let patience have her perfect work.
What am I doing for Jesus? What trenches am I digging? 0 Lord, make me ready to receive the blessing you are so willing to bestow.

*A.D. did not and does NOT mean “After Death” as many erroneously now think. It actually abbreviates Anno Domini, a Latin phrase adopted into English that literally means “Year of our Lord”. It has been used together with B.C. Before Christ for centuries.
B.C.E is not a synonym for B.C. (Before Christ)] It is not the same thing. Not even close.
B.C.E. / C.E or B.C. /A.D. What’s the difference?
B.C.E. (BEFORE COMMON ERA [or BEFORE CURRENT ERA] ― Anything to avoid all reference or mention of anything CHRISTIAN by atheist and anti-Christians and to remove A.D. [Anno Domini] and B.C. [Before Christ] from being used.
The argument here, claims to have a neutral point of view that would remove all reference to Jesus Christ by omitting the use of A.D Ano Domini and B.C. Before ChristThis argument brings forward a faulty if not egregious hypothesis. Without consideration of a person’s religious views analysis of the hypothesis of a neutral point of view (NPOV) must be made.
What is A NEUTRAL point of view? Such a fool’s errand would argue that a point of view could set forth a valid, genuine, authentic and simultaneously be neutral. What? This defies logic. A neutral point of view, were it possible, is no point of view at all. Rather, it’s illogical and by applying simple common sense, impossible. Anytime a point of view is combined, confused or blended with another one so that the properties are clouded, weakened or confused the actual definite and certain POV is lost and any rational adherence or support for it is now moot. A Neutral point of view exists only in the imagination of those who prefer confusion to a true, authentic, genuine, robust and proven point of a verifiable fact.
A neutral point of view, were it possible, would be, at best, illogical, unattainable, indefensible and irresponsible. The king of oxymorons.
Therefore, the mere consideration of an imagined but impossible and unattainable neutral point of view (NPOV) is ludicrous. A point of view cannot be NEUTRAL. An authentic point of view cannot be neutral, or ambiguous, but must clearly advance a singular, definite and certain point of view (POV). It cannot be both a POV and neutral. A neutral point of view is a logical impossibility. A neutral (POV), were it possible, would ignore the historical fact of Jesus Christ’s birth. The pretense of seeking a neutral point of view is therefore misleading and disingenuous.
The Lord Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh,

He’s alive today, has always existed as God’s eternal and everlasting Word,
and will soon return for his bride, the Church

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

believed on in the world, received up into glory.

You are invited to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord and to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Do it] now: for thus it becometh us [is beautifully fitting and expected of us] to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not a requirement for salvation but it is the willing desire of all believers to demonstrate agreement and consistency with the righteousness of preaching Repentance and Baptism by John the Baptist and obedience to the scriptural teaching. The issue of baptism is therefore not an issue of salvation but of obedience and of fulfilling all righteousness.
Worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth will spring-up and be manifested in a sense of gratitude. Such worship can come through prayer, Bible reading, scriptural meditation and study. Fellowship in a local church body, hearing gospel preaching and singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs are also acts of worship and reflects an active discipleship.
To this purpose, DailySpurgeon, is offered as a reliable, dependable and effective resource.

Here’s how you know the Spirit [voice] of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come from God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit [voice] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore, we should [must] test every voice [spirit] whether it is from God, bonified and trustworthy to be believed only if it confesses [says] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, from God, in the flesh having come from God .”
[All English translations of the Bible other than King James have erroneously translated from two alternate Greek texts created by Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Alland as “Has come” rather than“Is come” [Is Here] which is the correct translation following the Greek Majority Text and the Textus Receptus]. The majority of manuscripts MT of the 5,321 individual Greek manuscripts that are preserved, protected, inerrant, infallible and immutable manuscripts and are in overwhelming agreement with one another and are the source from which the Textus Receptus is taken
All Modern Critical translations overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is in virtually all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] therefore they fail to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (Rightly translated from the Received Text only in the King James Version)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm agreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from this overwhelming body of agreement from Majority Text of primary manuscript sources. Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland have omitted the verb “is”, from the Greek text. This error may be described in the legal term res ipsa loquitur meaning the thing speaks for itself.
Therefore, the alternate translations generated from these two alternate Greek fabrications are not correct. Why is that?
Because non-believers and false prophets can indeed, and often do, affirm that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by virtually all respected historians to be the most well documented fact in history. That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” falls woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”. Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is not surprising nor is it, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. However, this fails to present a Rubric necessary to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid hypothesis, proffered and inferred in the contextfor scriptural discernment. The failure here to establish a logical and rhetorically sound rubric to judge the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets and the spirit of antichrist is absent.
Namely, it does not provide a sound hypothesis to discern whether a spirit [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Virtually anyone [or any spirit] may avow that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you can see, this does not resolve the issue of whether something should or should not be believed or followed. Why? Once again, because virtually anyone and everyone can and often do confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. This leaves absent a valid and efficacious hypothesis to discern the truth.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore is a failed attempt to represent itself as efficacious for true spiritual discernment as outlined in 1 John Chapter 4: 1-3.
Further, as we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.

The Pilgrim Progress is the world’s most widely published and most famous Allegory . It was commonly found among he scant possessions in the cabins of the early American Pioneers. It was loved and read, second only to the Holy Bible, God’s Word, of guidance, encouragement and comfort. It’s also considered, by some, to be the world’s first English novel and is the most published book of all time. other than the Bible. There were 1,300 editions printed before 1938, 250 years after the author's death. It remains one of the world’s most famous books. In allegorical genre, it is unequalled.
Pilgrim’s Progress is referenced in many Spurgeon Sermons.

Note: Spurgeon was taught to read at a very early age and read The Pilgrim’s Progress for the first time when he was six years old. He would return to re-read it over 100 times. He made many reference to it in his sermons as Pastor of The Metropolitan Tabernacle in London.

It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams [ancient weapons of war] had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melodies], for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart [main castle] he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus; it is our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.

Bunyan merely, yet ardently, trusted in God’s Word; the God-breathed [divinely inspired], Self-authenticating, Providentially-protected immutable, inerrant, infallible, and inextinguishable written Word from GOD Himself. God, the omnipotent, omnipresent, righteous and Holy One, has breathed out His Word and has made His Word flesh in the birth of Jesus Christ. GOD’S UNSPEAKABLE GIFT.
Just now [Springtime] when the earth is waking up to life, Lord, wake up dead hearts; and if there are seeds of grace lying dormant in any soul may they begin to bud, may the bulb down at the heart send forth its golden cup and drink in of the light, the life of God. Oh! save [souls] today.

Our very heart is speaking now much more loudly and sweetly than our lips can speak. Yes those wasted years over which we sigh shall be restored to us. God can give us such plentiful grace that we shall crowd into the remainder of our days as much of service as will be some recompense for those years of un-regeneracy [those lost years before we trusted in You, Lord Jesus] over which we mourn in humble penitence.
The locusts of backsliding, worldliness, luke-warmness, are now viewed by us as a terrible plague. Oh that they had never come near us! The Lord in mercy has now taken them away, and we are full of zeal [enthusiasm] to serve Him. Blessed be His name we can raise such harvests of spiritual graces as shall make our former barrenness to disappear. Through rich grace we can turn to account our bitter experience, and use it to warn others.
We can become the more rooted in humility, childlike dependence, and penitent spirituality, by reason of our former shortcomings. If we are the more watchful, zealous, and tender, we shall gain by our lamentable [shameful] losses.
The wasted years, by a miracle of love, can be restored.
Does it seem too great a boon [favor]? Let us believe for it, and live for it, and we may yet realize it, even as Peter became all the more useful a man after his presumption was cured by his discovered weakness.
Lord, aid us by thy grace.
Prayer: Thank you Lord that -You will restore to us the years that the locust hath [has] eaten- Father, we desire to be renewed daily into a life of useful service and integrity by Your love and grace through Jesus Christ and by empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Help me to be completely yielded to You Lord and to look for the restoration of what has been lost, [backsliding, worldliness, luke-warmness, are now viewed by us as a terrible plague]. After killing the lion, we eat the honey; after climbing the Hill of Difficulty, we sit down in the arbor [shady covering of trees] to rest; after traversing [traveling] the Valley of Humiliation, after fighting with Apollyon, the shining one [Jesus] appears with the healing branch from the tree of life.
Our sorrows, like the passing keels [wakes] of the vessels upon the sea, leave a silver line of holy light behind them "afterward."
It is peace, sweet, deep peace, which follows the horrible turmoil which once reigned in our tormented, guilty souls. See, then, the happy estate of a Christian! He has his best things last, and he therefore in this world receives his worst things first.
But even his worst things are "afterward" good things, harsh plowings yielding joyful harvests. Even now he grows rich by his losses, he rises by his falls, he lives by dying, and becomes full by being emptied.
If, then, his grievous afflictions yield him so much peaceable fruit in this life,
what will be the full vintage of joy "afterward" in heaven?
If his dark nights are as bright as the world's days, what will his days be? If even his starlight is more splendid than the sun, what must his sunlight be?
If he can sing in a dungeon,
how sweetly will he sing in heaven!
If he can praise the Lord in the fires,
how will he extol Him before the eternal throne!
If evil be good to him now, what will the over flowing goodness of God be to him then?
Oh, blessed "afterward!" Who would not be a Christian?
Who would not bear the present cross for the crown that comes afterward?
But herein is work for patience, for the rest is not for today, nor the triumph for the present, but
"afterward."

In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:

The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,
thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on a defective text. Those who want to honor the Word of God must not promote the use of any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved without error unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it would be to Him if His people now chose instead to use versions that are based on defective Greek manuscript created by Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland.

We can become the more rooted in humility, childlike dependence, and penitent spirituality, by reason of our former shortcomings. If we are the more watchful, zealous, and tender, we shall gain by our lamentable [shameful] losses.
The wasted years, by a miracle of love, can be restored.
Does it seem too great a boon [favor]? Let us believe for it, and live for it, and we may yet realize it, even as Peter became all the more useful a man after his presumption was cured by his discovered weakness.
Lord, aid us by thy grace.

ALL the attributes of Christ, as God and Man, are at our disposal. All the fullness of the Godhead, whatever that marvelous term may include, is ours to make us complete. HOW happy are tried [tested and proved] Christians, afterward. No calm is more deep than that which follows a storm.
Who has not rejoiced in clear shinings [sunshine] after rain? Victorious banquets are for well-exercised [experienced] soldiers.
After killing the lion, we eat the honey; after climbing the Hill of Difficulty, we sit down in the arbor [shady covering of trees] to rest; after traversing [traveling] the Valley of Humiliation, after fighting with Apollyon, the shining one [Jesus] appears with the healing branch from the tree of life.
Our sorrows, like the passing keels [wakes] of the vessels upon the sea, leave a silver line of holy light behind them "afterward."
It is peace, sweet, deep peace, which follows the horrible turmoil which once reigned in our tormented, guilty souls. See, then, the happy estate of a Christian! He has his best things last, and he therefore in this world receives his worst things first.
But even his worst things are "afterward" good things, harsh plowings yielding joyful harvests. Even now he grows rich by his losses, he rises by his falls, he lives by dying, and becomes full by being emptied.
If, then, his grievous afflictions yield him so much peaceable fruit in this life,
what will be the full vintage of joy "afterward" in heaven?
If his dark nights are as bright as the world's days, what will his days be? If even his starlight is more splendid than the sun, what must his sunlight be?
If he can sing in a dungeon,
how sweetly will he sing in heaven!
If he can praise the Lord in the fires,
how will he extol Him before the eternal throne!
If evil be good to him now, what will the over flowing goodness of God be to him then?
Oh, blessed "afterward!" Who would not be a Christian?
Who would not bear the present cross for the crown that comes afterward?
But herein is work for patience, for the rest is not for today, nor the triumph for the present, but
"afterward."

In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:

The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,
thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on a defective text. Those who want to honor the Word of God must not promote the use of any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved without error unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it would be to Him if His people now chose instead to use versions that are based on defective Greek manuscript created by Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland.
