Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everything you hear] but [continually] be testing the spirit whether it is of God: because many false prophets have come out in the world. You are invited to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord and to publicly acknowledge Him as such, so He will be able to acknowledge you to His Father; The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. You are also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and said to him.
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And Jesus said to him,
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
The act of Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and by extension the believer’s death to self, atonement, and new, born-again life.
Baptism bears witness to the preaching of John the Baptist. He preached the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and exhorted Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but is to be followed to fulfil all righteousness.
We now desire to Worship Him in Spirit and in truth through prayer, Bible readings, scriptural meditation, gospel preaching, singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs.
To this purpose, DailySpurgeon, is offered.

Is dailyspurgeon.com trustworthy?
Is it true? Is it of God?
We apply this Scripture to discern whether what we hear is of God and therefore true or not.
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [voice] you hear but be testing the spirits [voices] whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit [voice] of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come from God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit [voice] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore, we should [must] test every voice [spirit] whether it is from God, bonified and trustworthy to be believed only if it confesses [states] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, in the flesh having come from God .”
Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Alland did not use the Textus Receptus, rendered from the 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts, known as the Majority Text.
Instead,they used their own Greek translations that they created using only 55 Greek manuscripts selected out of the 5,321 Majority Texts.
Their Greek translation is faulty. Translations other than King James overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is translated in virtually all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] therefore they fail to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (When it’s ranslated aright from the Received Text (TR) in the King James Version only)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm substantial majorityagreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from this overwhelming body of agreement from Majority Text of primary manuscript sources.
Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland have omitted the verb “is”, from the Greek text. This error may be described as res ipsa loquitur meaning the thing speaks for itself.
Therefore, the alternate Greek fabrications generated by these two sources are not actually translations at all but their own creations.
How do we know?
Because non-believers and false prophets can indeed, and often do, affirm that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by virtually all respected historians to be the most well documented fact in history. That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” falls woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”. Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is not surprising nor is it, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. However, this fails to present a Rubric necessary to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid hypothesis, proffered and inferred in the contextfor scriptural discernment. The failure here to establish a logical and rhetorically sound rubric to judge the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets and the spirit of antichrist is absent.
Namely, “has come” is such a wide-spread belief held to be historically true by all, it does not provide a sound standard to discern whether a spirit [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Almost anyone [or any spirit] can declare that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you can see, this does not resolve the issue of whether something should or should not be believed or followed. Why? Once again, because almost anyone can and often does confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. This is an insufficient standard. The standard must be whether the confession that Jesus is here alone, gives an efficacious standard to discern truth from error.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore fails to be efficacious for true spiritual discernment as outlined in 1 John Chapter 4: 1-3.
Furthermore, as we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.

When a believer considers the fact that they are members of the body of Christ [The Church] , they should acknowledge and readily confess that…

Pilgrim Progress is the world’s most famous Allegory, It and the Bible were commonly the only books to be found in the cabin of early American Settlers and were loved and read more than any book, second only to the Holy Bible. It’s also considered, by some, as being the world’s first English novel. It’s likely the most published book other than the Bible of all time. There were 1,300 editions printed before 1938, 250 years after the Bunyan’s death. Hence, the world’s most famous Allegory.

Spurgeon: Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [happy melodies] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart [main castle] he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, Oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh, for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus, The Messiah; our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.

PRAYER 1 Part 1 of 7 HELP FROM ON HIGH.
O THOU who art King of kings and Lord of lords, we worship Thee.
“Before Jehovah’s awful throne We bow with sacred joy. ”We can truly say that we delight in God. There was a time when we feared Thee, O God, with the fear of bondage.
Now we reverence, but we love as much as we reverence You. The thought of Thine Omnipresence [being everywhere at the same time] was once horrible to us. We said:
“Whither shall we flee [where shall we go to get away] from His [Your] presence?”
and it seemed to make hell itself more dreadful [horrible], because we heard a voice,
“If I make my bed in hell, behold, Thou art [are] there.”
But now, O Lord, we desire to find Thee. Our longing is to feel Thy presence, and it is the heaven of heavens that Thou art [are] there.
The sick bed is soft when Thou art [are] there. The furnace of affliction grows cool when Thou art there, and the house of prayer [Church] when Thou art [are] present is none other than the house of God, and
it is the very gate of heaven.
Come near, our Father, come very near to Thy children. Some of us are very weak in body and faint in heart.
Soon, O God, lay Thy right hand upon us and say unto us,
“Fear not.”
Peradventure [Perhaps], some of us are alike, and the world is attracting us. Come near to kill the influence of the world with Thy superior power.

ANECDOTE 259: The Reckoning.
You desire to take death into your reckoning that it may not surprise you unawares [come unexpectedly]. He who should go upon a long journey, and provide for every difficulty on the road but one [except for one], would probably find the journey a failure. If, with a rolling chariot for the solid ways [long distances] , he had forgotten to find the means of crossing the last river which would divide him from the country which he sought, he would be disappointed after all his pains [efforts] . If you have provided for life, but have not also prepared for death,
what better will you be, my hearer, than such a foolish *traveler?
We have heard of one, who, going into a tavern, ordered according to his wildest wishes, and feasted sumptuously on the best the house afforded, hour after hour; but when the host came with the bill, he told him that he had no money, and had quite forgotten the reckoning [paying the bill], thinking it quite enough to attend to the eating and drinking while these were the order of the day, without perplexing [troubling] himself about the unknown future.
Alas! my hearer, are you living in this inn of life, forgetting the reckoning [paying the bill]? Do you go from cup to cup, from merriment to merriment, feasting as *though there were no day of accounting appointed for you?
If so, are you a fool or a knave [idiot], or both? For a man who would enjoy life, and yet shirk the account of his responsibilities with which the scene must close, is either foolish, or knavish, or both.
Surely, since we must die, since “there is no discharge [shot fired] in this war,” since every man must be a conscript to [drafted into] the army of death, since, whether it be to-morrow or the next day, or in a few years time, every one of us must pass through the iron gate, it *behooves us, knowing the fact, to take it into our account, to be diligent in forestalling its demands, and providing for its emergencies.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK JULY 31 C.H. Spurgeon 1834 – 1892
AN APPEAL; DELIVERANCE
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

This is a promise indeed.. Here is an urgent occasion -the day of trouble. It is dark at noon on such a day, and every hour seems blacker than the one which came before it. Then is this promise in season: it is written for the cloudy day. Here is condescending advice, call upon me.
What a mercy to have liberty to call upon God.. What wisdom to make good use of it.. How foolish to go running about to men.
The Lord invites us to lay our case before Him, and surely we will not hesitate to do so. Here is reassuring encouragement:
I will deliver thee.
Whatever the trouble may be, the Lord makes no exceptions, but promises full, sure, happy deliverance. He will Himself work out our deliverance by His own hand.
We believe it, and the Lord honors faith. Here is an ultimate result:
Thou shalt glorify me.
Ah..[Oh yes.] we will do that most abundantly. When He has delivered us we will loudly praise Him; and as He is sure to do it , let us begin to glorify Him at once [right now].
Thank You Lord, that we may call upon You in the day of trouble.
Thank You that You will deliver us.
Oh, for joy! You will deliver us by Your own hand. I believe the promise of deliverance in Your word and pray for deliverance in Your name Lord Jesus, Amen.

IF such be the union which subsists [bridges] between our souls and the person of our Lord [Jesus], how deep and broad is the channel of our communion [fellowship]! This is no narrow pipe through which a thread-like stream may wind its way;
it is a channel of amazing depth and breadth, along whose glorious length a ponderous [large] volume of living water may roll its floods.
Behold, He has set before us an open door; let us not be slow to enter. This city of communion has many pearly gates, every several [so-many] gate[s] [we see there] is of one pearl, and each gate is thrown open to the uttermost that we may enter, [being] assured of [being] welcome.
If there were but one small loophole [hole for the loop of the cord to unlatch the door] through which to talk with Jesus, it would be a high privilege to thrust [blurt-out] a word of fellowship through the narrow door; how much we are blessed in having so large an entrance!
Had the Lord Jesus been far away from us, with many a stormy sea between, we should have longed to send a messenger to Him to carry Him our loves, and bring us tidings [greetings] from His Father's house; but see [look at] His kindness,
He has built His house next door to ours, nay, more, [than this] He takes lodging [lives] with us, and tabernacles [camps] in [our] poor humble hearts, that so He may have perpetual intercourse [continual fellowship] with us. 0 how foolish must we be, if we do not live in habitual communion with Him.
When the road is long, and dangerous, and difficult, we need not wonder that friends seldom meet each other, but when they live together,
shall Jonathan forget his [best friend] David?
When her husband is on a journey, a wife may abide many days without holding conversation with him, but she could never endure to be separated from him if she knew him to be in one of the chambers [rooms] of her own house.
Why, believer, do you not sit at His banquet of wine [fit for a King]?
Seek the Lord, for He is near; embrace Him, for He is your Brother. Hold Him fast, for He is your Husband [spouse]; and press Him to your heart, for
He is of your own flesh.

WELL was it so ordered that the sacred chant [song] never cease in the temple: forevermore did the singers praise the Lord,
whose mercy endures forever.
As mercy did not cease to rule either by day or by night, so neither did music hush its holy ministry.
My heart, there is a lesson sweetly taught to you in the ceaseless song of Zion's temple: you too are a constant debtor, and see to it that your gratitude, like charity [love], never fails.
God's praise is constant in heaven, which is to be your final dwelling place; learn to practice the eternal hallelujah [continual expression of “Praise the Lord!"].
Around the earth as the sun scatters his light, his beams awaken grateful believers to tune [practice] their morning hymn so that by the priesthood of the saints perpetual praise is kept up at all hours. They [the songs of praise] swathe [wrap] our globe in a mantle [cape] of thanksgiving, and girdle [belt] it with a golden belt of song.
The Lord always deserves to be praised for what He is in Himself, for His works of creation and providence, for His goodness towards His creatures, and especially for the transcendent [all-pervasive] act of redemption, and all the marvelous blessing flowing there-from.
It is always beneficial to praise the Lord;
it cheers the day and brightens the night; it lightens toil [hard work] and softens sorrow; and over earthly gladness [fun and frolic] it sheds a sanctifying radiance which makes it less liable to blind us with its glare.
Have we not something to sing about at this moment? Can we not weave [compose] a song out of our present joys, or our past deliverances, or our future hopes?
Earth yields her summer fruits: the hay is housed [stored], the golden grain invites the sickle
[ready for harvest], and the sun tarrying long [gives long days] to shine on a fruitful earth, shortens the interval of shade [darkness] that we may lengthen the hours of devout worship.
By the love of Jesus, let us be stirred up to close the day with a psalm [song] of sanctified gladness.

A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER: [For One and all]
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am hopeless. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross for my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity condemned to Hell. I have been self-centered from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m guilty and sorry for each and every sin I have done and look to You to forgive me of them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, Lord Jesus, right now to save me. You died on the cross for me, because of my sin and You say, “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21.
Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me, I trust You, to be my Lord and Savior from now on.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins. I ask You to abide in me and give me the desire to always follow You.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross. Even the sins of the whole world.
Thank you, Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me even before I was born and that You still love me now. I love You too.
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You have called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [Holy Ghost, Comforter, Spirit of Truth]
Thank You for saving me heavenly Father. With all my heart, thank you Father for saving me in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Allow us to share the joy of your new birth with heaven. Won’t you? Heaven rejoices over each redeemed sinner. Luke 15:7

In defense of the Masoretic Hebrew of the Old Testament and the GreekTextus Receptus:
The Incomplete and unsealed codices of Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are not translated from the majority texts, [Original Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus]. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus present variant, ambiguous and erroneous readings rather than that of the well-established and settled texts. They disagree often with one another as well as with the settled majority texts. Thus, an attempt to create a pretext that will continue to justify a never-ending demand for additional editions and interpretations. These unsettled differences and bias in certain sectarian doctrine [dogma] have led to the production of multiple “modern” editions with ambiguities, many variant readings and confusion from the explosion of unending, new editions.
Profit-driven publishers have embraced such an economic windfall to sell a continual flow of “new and better” English edition of The Bible. They give too little attention to the fidelity and accuracy already settled [in heaven] in majority manuscripts of the Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus.
Psalm 119:89-90
89 Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations:
thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. [abides]
God, Himself, providentially protects and preserves His Word. His Word is the God-breathed, self-authenticating, immutable [unchanging and unchangeable], eternal, inerrant, infallible, infinite and all-powerful Word, settled in heaven. He is not the author of confusion.

The above link is to search for specific words or Scriptures in the King James inerrant and infallible English Version (KJV) because it is providentially protected and preserved by GOD Himself through the only translation into English by faithful brethren from the 5,312 established majority text manuscripts MT from which the New Testament Greek Textus Receptus [received text] was taken and the Hebrew Masoretic Text of the Old Testament (Jewish Tanakh). These manuscripts are providentially protected, and frequently give greater glory to God when compared to variant readings of all modern translations from Modern Critical Texts based on only 55 hand picked inferior Greek manuscripts fabricated from either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. Both of these Greek textual sources follow an assumption that OLDER IS BETTER. Of course, this assumption is not valid if the older manuscripts contain error.
The established majority manuscripts and the Textus Receptus avoid doctrinal error, and inaccuracies in translation, uninspired editorial notations, variant or ambiguous readings which taken from Codices Vaticanus, or Sinaiticus.

In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:

The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,
thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on a defective text. Those who want to honor the Word of God must not promote the use of any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved, without error unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it would be to Him if His people now chose instead to use versions that are based on defective Greek manuscript created by Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Aland.
