You are invited to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord and to publicly acknowledge Him as such, so He will be able to acknowledge you to His Father; The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. You are also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and said to him.
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And Jesus said to him,
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
The act of Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and by extension the believer’s death to self, atonement, and new, born-again life.
Baptism bears witness to the preaching of John the Baptist. He preached the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and exhorted Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but is to be followed to fulfil all righteousness.
We now desire to Worship Him in Spirit and in truth through prayer, Bible readings, scriptural meditation, gospel preaching, singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs.
To this purpose, DailySpurgeon, is offered.

Is dailyspurgeon.com trustworthy?
Is it true? Is it of God?
We apply this Scripture to discern whether what we hear is of God and therefore true or not.
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [voice] you hear but be testing the spirits [voices] whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit [voice] of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come from God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit [voice] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore, we should [must] test every voice [spirit] whether it is from God, bonified and trustworthy to be believed only if it confesses [states] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, in the flesh having come from God .”
Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Alland did not use the Textus Receptus, rendered from the 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts, known as the Majority Text.
Instead,they used their own Greek translations that they created using only 55 Greek manuscripts selected out of the 5,321 Majority Texts.
Their Greek translation is faulty. Translations other than King James overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is translated in virtually all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] therefore they fail to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (When it’s ranslated aright from the Received Text (TR) in the King James Version only)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm substantial majorityagreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from this overwhelming body of agreement from Majority Text of primary manuscript sources.
Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland have omitted the verb “is”, from the Greek text. This error may be described as res ipsa loquitur meaning the thing speaks for itself.
Therefore, the alternate Greek fabrications generated by these two sources are not actually translations at all but their own creations.
How do we know?
Because non-believers and false prophets can indeed, and often do, affirm that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by virtually all respected historians to be the most well documented fact in history. That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” falls woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”. Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is not surprising nor is it, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. However, this fails to present a Rubric necessary to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid hypothesis, proffered and inferred in the contextfor scriptural discernment. The failure here to establish a logical and rhetorically sound rubric to judge the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets and the spirit of antichrist is absent.
Namely, “has come” is such a wide-spread belief held to be historically true by all, it does not provide a sound standard to discern whether a spirit [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Almost anyone [or any spirit] can declare that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you can see, this does not resolve the issue of whether something should or should not be believed or followed. Why? Once again, because almost anyone can and often does confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. This is an insufficient standard. The standard must be whether the confession that Jesus is here alone, gives an efficacious standard to discern truth from error.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore fails to be efficacious for true spiritual discernment as outlined in 1 John Chapter 4: 1-3.
Furthermore, as we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.

When a believer considers the fact that they are members of the body of Christ [The Church] , they should acknowledge and readily confess that…

Pilgrim Progress is the world’s most famous Allegory, It and the Bible were commonly the only books to be found in the cabin of early American Settlers and were loved and read more than any book, second only to the Holy Bible. It’s also considered, by some, as being the world’s first English novel. It’s likely the most published book other than the Bible of all time. There were 1,300 editions printed before 1938, 250 years after the Bunyan’s death. Hence, the world’s most famous Allegory.

Spurgeon: Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [happy melodies] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart [main castle] he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, Oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh, for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus, The Messiah; our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.

HELP FROM ON HIGH
We lift our voice to Thee in prayer; also, for all our dear [loved] ones. Lord, bless the sick and make them well, as soon as it is right they should be. Sanctify to them all they have to bear. There are also dear friends who are very weak; some that are very trembling. God bless them.
While the tent is being taken down [as death approaches] may the inhabitant within look on with calm joy, for we shall by-and-by
“be clothed upon with our house that is from heaven”
[our glorified body will never die]. Lord, help us to sit very loose by [not tied to or tightly holding on to] all these things here below. May we live here like strangers and make the world not a house but an inn [temporary motel], in which we sup [eat] and lodge, expecting to be on our journey [continuing on our way] tomorrow. [ In Jesus name, Amen.]

“Who knoweth [knows] whether thou art [are] come to the kingdom for such a time as this ?”
Rise to the utmost possible height. Fulfill your calling to its loftiest degree. Not only do all that you are sure you can do, but
aim at something which as yet is high up among the questions. Say to yourself,
"Who knoweth [knows]?"
That is what the ambitious man says when he aspires to be great.
When Louis Napoleon was shut up in the fortress of Ham, and everybody ridiculed his foolish attempts upon France, yet he said to himself,
"Who knows? I am the nephew of my uncle, and may yet sit upon the imperial throne,” and he did so before many years had passed.
I have no desire to make any man ambitious after the poor thrones, and honors, and riches of this world; but
I would fain [with earnest, fervent desire] make you all ardently ambitious to honor God and bless men.
Who knows?
Does anybody know what God may do by you? Does anybody know what capacities slumber within your bosom [in your heart] ?

Put the law [God’s law] into the heart, and the whole man is right. This is where the law should be; for then it lies, like the tables of stone in the ark [of the covenant],
in the place appointed for it.
In the head it puzzles, on the back it burdens, in the heart it upholds.
What a choice word is here used,
-the law of his God-!
When we know the Lord as our own God His law becomes liberty to us. God with us in covenant [His divine promise] makes us eager to obey His will and walk in His commands.
Is the precept [doctrine] my Father’s precept? Then I delight in it.
We are here guaranteed that [the] obedient-hearted man shall be sustained in every step that he takes.
He will do that which is right, and he shall therefore do that which is wise.
Holy action is always the most prudent, though it may not at the time seem to be so. We are moving along the great high road of God’s providence and grace when we keep to the way of His law.
The Word of God has never misled a single soul yet; it’s plain directions to walk:
humbly,
justly,
lovingly, and
in the fear of the Lord,
are as much words of wisdom to make our way prosperous as [they are]
rules of holiness to keep our garments clean.
He walks surely who walks righteously.
Prayer: Thank You Lord, that because Your law is in my heart You will keep my step sure and not a single step I take will slip or cause me to fall. Thank You that because we know You as our own God Your law becomes liberty.
Thank You that when we love and respect You in holy fear, Your words of wisdom make us prosper and Your rules of holiness keep us clean.
By doing what is right, I do what is wise.

MORNING August 5
"We know that all things work together for good to them that love God… " —Romans 8:28 —Y sabemos que á los que á Dios aman, todas las cosas les ayudan á bien, es á saber, á los que conforme al propósito son llamados.—Romanos 8:28
ON some points a believer is absolutely sure. He knows, for instance, that God sits in the stern sheets [the (rear) sails] of the vessel [boat] when it rocks most. He believes that an invisible hand is always on the world's tiller [rudder], and that wherever providence may drift, Jehovah steers [guides] it.
That reassuring knowledge prepares him for everything. He looks over the raging waters and sees the spirit of Jesus treading the billows [walking on the waves], and he hears a voice saying,
"It is I, be not afraid."
He knows too that God is always wise, and, knowing this, he is confident that there can be no accidents, no mistakes; that nothing can occur which ought not to arise. He can say,
"If I should lose all I have, it is better that I should lose [it] , than have, if God so wills:
the worst calamity is the wisest and the kindest thing that could befall me
if God ordains it."
"We know that all things work together for good to them that love God."
The Christian does not merely hold this as a theory, but knows it as a matter of fact.
Everything has worked for good as yet [so far]; the poisonous drugs mixed in fit proportions [right amounts] have worked the cure; the sharp cuts of the lancet [scalpel] have cleansed out the proud flesh and facilitated the healing.
Every event as yet [so far] has worked out the most divinely blessed results; and so, believing that God rules all, that He governs wisely, that He brings good out of evil, the believer's heart is assured, and he is enabled calmly to meet each trial as it comes.
The believer can in the spirit of true resignation pray,
"Send me what you will, my God, so long as it comes from You;
never came there an ill portion [anything bad] from Your table to any of Your children."
Say not my soul, 'From whence can God relieve my care?
Remember that Omnipotence has servants everywhere.
His method is sublime, His heart profoundly kind,
God never is before His time, and never is behind.

KINDRED [being a family member] has its obligations.
The Reubenites and Gadites would have been most un-brotherly if they had claimed the land which had been conquered, and had left the rest of the people to fight for their portions alone.
We have received much by means of the efforts and sufferings of the saints in years gone by, and if we do not make some return to the church of Christ by giving her our best energies, we are unworthy to be enrolled in her ranks [to become church members].
Others are combating the errors of the age manfully or excavating [saving] perishing ones from amid the ruins of the fall, and if we fold our hands in idleness we had need be warned lest
[for fear that] the curse of Meroz……fall upon us.
[Judges 5:23: Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty].
The Master of the vineyard says,
"Why stand ye here all the day idle?"
What is the idler's excuse? Personal service to Jesus becomes all the more the duty of all because it is cheerfully and abundantly rendered by some.
The toils of devoted missionaries and fervent ministers shame us if we sit still in indolence [laziness]. Shrinking from trial [battle] is the temptation of those who are at ease in Zion: they would fain [with fervent desire] escape the cross and yet [undeservedly] wear the crown;
to them the question for this evening's meditation is very applicable.
If the most precious are tried in the fire, are we to escape the crucible [melting pot] ?
If the diamond must be vexed [polished] on the wheel, are we to be made perfect without suffering? Who has commanded the wind to cease from blowing because our bark [boat] is on the deep [in deep water]?
Why and wherefore should we be treated better than our Lord?
The firstborn [eldest] felt the rod, and why not the younger brethren?
It is a cowardly pride that chooses a downy [feathered] pillow and a silken couch for a soldier of the cross.
Wiser far is he who, being first resigned to the divine will, grows by the energy of grace to be pleased with it, and so learns to gather lilies at the cross foot [foot of the cross], and like Samson, to find honey in the [carcass of the dead] lion.

A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER: [For One and all]
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am hopeless. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross for my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity condemned to Hell. I have been self-centered from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m guilty and sorry for each and every sin I have done and look to You to forgive me of them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, Lord Jesus, right now to save me. You died on the cross for me, because of my sin and You say, “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21.
Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me, I trust You, to be my Lord and Savior from now on.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins. I ask You to abide in me and give me the desire to always follow You.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross. Even the sins of the whole world.
Thank you, Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me even before I was born and that You still love me now. I love You too.
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You have called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [Holy Ghost, Comforter, Spirit of Truth]
Thank You for saving me heavenly Father. With all my heart, thank you Father for saving me in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Allow us to share the joy of your new birth with heaven. Won’t you? Heaven rejoices over each redeemed sinner. Luke 15:7

In defense of the Masoretic Hebrew of the Old Testament and the GreekTextus Receptus:
The Incomplete and unsealed codices of Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are not translated from the majority texts, [Original Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus]. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus present variant, ambiguous and erroneous readings rather than that of the well-established and settled texts. They disagree often with one another as well as with the settled majority texts. Thus, an attempt to create a pretext that will continue to justify a never-ending demand for additional editions and interpretations. These unsettled differences and bias in certain sectarian doctrine [dogma] have led to the production of multiple “modern” editions with ambiguities, many variant readings and confusion from the explosion of unending, new editions.
Profit-driven publishers have embraced such an economic windfall to sell a continual flow of “new and better” English edition of The Bible. They give too little attention to the fidelity and accuracy already settled [in heaven] in majority manuscripts of the Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus.
Psalm 119:89-90
89 Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations:
thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. [abides]
God, Himself, providentially protects and preserves His Word. His Word is the God-breathed, self-authenticating, immutable [unchanging and unchangeable], eternal, inerrant, infallible, infinite and all-powerful Word, settled in heaven. He is not the author of confusion.

The above link is to search for specific words or Scriptures in the King James inerrant and infallible English Version (KJV) because it is providentially protected and preserved by GOD Himself through the only translation into English by faithful brethren from the 5,312 established majority text manuscripts MT from which the New Testament Greek Textus Receptus [received text] was taken and the Hebrew Masoretic Text of the Old Testament (Jewish Tanakh). These manuscripts are providentially protected, and frequently give greater glory to God when compared to variant readings of all modern translations from Modern Critical Texts based on only 55 hand picked inferior Greek manuscripts fabricated from either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. Both of these Greek textual sources follow an assumption that OLDER IS BETTER. Of course, this assumption is not valid if the older manuscripts contain error.

In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:

The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,
thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on a defective text. Those who want to honor the Word of God must not promote the use of any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved, without error unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it would be to Him if His people now chose instead to use versions that are based on defective Greek manuscript created by Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Aland.
