Note: The New King James Version NKJV and all versions NOT translated from Scrivener’s Textus Receptus [The Received Text] contain variant inferior readings. Changes that reduce the full glory and Holy reverence written in the 1769 Edition of the 1611 King James Version KJV also known as the Authorized King James Version AKJV or the Authorized Version AV. The Geneva Bible is also faithfully translated from Scrivener’s Greek Textus Receptus.
Only the Textus Receptus [Received Text] is produced from more than 5,321 original Majority Greek Manuscripts MT and agree 99% with one another. All other variant readings are translated from either Westcott and Hort’s or Nestle and Aland’s, Greek Texts fabricated from only a handful [45] of Majority Text Manuscripts MT and lack the trustworthiness of the inspired 1769 [1611] King James Version, KJV and the Geneva Bibles. are the only two translations from the traditional, reliable, inspired, [GOD BREATHED] immutable and providentially and divinely protected Textus Receptus.

The Bridge to Babylon video presents historical evidence that accounts for the explosion of over 100 different English version translations of the Bible. The continuing attempts to replace, add or take away from the 1769 King James Version of the Holy Bible can not prevail because GOD Himself preserves and protects His inspired Holy Words
from all heresy, blasphemy, confusion , error additions, subtractions and changes.

* BCE/CE vs. BC/AD What’s the difference?
Learn the difference; defend the Truth. Won’t you?
A.D. does NOT mean “After Death” as many mistakenly believe. It is Latin for Anno Domini, a phrase adopted into English usage that means “Year of [the/our] Lord”. The complete original phrase "anno Domini nostri Jesu Christi" means "in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ”. A.D. is used with B.C. Before Christ to divide all history before and after the birth of Jesus Christ. ...More

Is the website DAILYSPURGEON faithful?
Is it of God?
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everyone or everything] you hear but be testing the spirit [voice] whether it is of God: because many false prophets have gone [come] out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses [avows] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come[who came] out of God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not [doesn’t audibly avow] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
I hereby confess, out-loud, that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh.
[All translations of the Bible that use a Greek text other than the traditional and reliable Textus Receptus ignore the word “ictin” (the Greek word that means “is” in English). This omission causes the meaning of “is here” to change from “is come” [is here] to “has come”.
This error is self-evident as non-believers, false prophets and even heretics can, and frequently do, declare that He “has come” [in the flesh].
While this is a true statement, when taken at face value, the meaning “has come” is clearly not the same as “is here”; which is the valid, scriptural test of discernment between the Spirit of God and the spirit of antichrist.
The most well documented fact in all human history is that Jesus Christ [The Messiah] “has come” in the flesh. However, the question of greatest importance, is not whether the spirit [words or person] being considered and tested confesses that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh but, whether the confession being made affirms that Jesus Christ, “is come” [is here], (NOW) from God, in the flesh.
30 for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32
This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. [The body of CHRIST]
Compare scripture with scripture:
“I speak concerning Christ and the church.” [the fleshly embodiment, here and now , of the body of Christ]. Because we are members of the Body of Christ [The Church]

DAILY SPURGEON and DEVOTION for October 27th * A.D. 2025 written and calendared by Charles H. Spurgeon.
The Lord Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, 1 John 4:2-4
was born of a virgin A.D. 2025 years ago.
He’s alive today, has existed from eternity past to eternity future as God’s eternal, everlasting Word that has always existed as The Body of Christ [The Messiah]
and He’s returning soon for his bride, the Church.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16
Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth:
for I am God and there is none else. Isaiah 45:22
Worship God in Spirit and in Truth:
-
Praying with our heavenly Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; 1 Thessalonians 5:17
-
Hearing and obeying the eternal, inspired, immutable, inerrant, infallible, revealed and protected Word of God, revealed through Jesus Christ, the living Word; 1 Peter 1:23
-
Being filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Ephesians 5:18-19
-
Gather in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Matthew 18:20 - Jesus Christ
Please join us in prayer, devotional study, gospel preaching, and singing sacred hymns and praises as we worship God in spirit and in truth.
DailySpurgeon is a collection of inspired, encouraging, and challenging devotional messages by Charles Haddon Spurgeon for such worship. I pray this instrumentality be used, Heavenly Father, to the save the lost. Encourage and embolden us as we “Study to shew [show] ourselves approved unto God, workers that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing [sharing] the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15 …in Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
Loving and worshiping God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength in Spirit and in truth is our labor of love and the joyful duty of every believer. This heart’s desire will grow stronger as we give ourselves to fully devoted prayer, reading and meditating on God’s Word, gathering ourselves together to hear Gospel preaching, and singing Psalms, sacred hymns and spiritual songs.
To these ends, we pray DailySpurgeon.com will be inspired from The Heavenly Father. We ask that it be acceptable in Your sight and empowered by The Holy Ghost, so that many souls will be brought to faith in The Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah] .
We ask also that it may inspire and manifest ever greater devotion, consecration and personal discipleship in every born-again believer.
This web site is not intended, were it possible, to take the place of in-person, Christian fellowship, inspired and live gospel preaching or congregational assemblies for instruction in the WORD and praise and worship.
Rather, it is intended to encourage and strengthen fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ [The Messiah] in:
Personal fervent and righteous Prayer,
Bible study and obedience to the Rightly divided Inspired [God Breathed] Inerrant [Incapable of error], Infallible [Incapable of mistake or being wrong], or Immutable [Unchanged and Unchangeable], Holy WORD of GOD.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [accurately comprehending and sharing] the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
Our aim is to follow the Lord Jesus Christ who says, “I am the way, the truth and the life…” John 14:6
Jesus was lifted up from the earth, hung on the cross and gave up his life to save sinners, John 12:32 Therefore, we pray that many should not perish, but come believing in Jesus Christ and have everlasting life. This invitation is extended to all non-believers for them to turn away from sin, look to the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. We pray also that all believers will be built up being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:28-30
We pray DailySpurgeon.com will be empowered by God, to save the lost and minister personal worship to the body of Christ in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah]. The Website contains selections from the writings of Charles H. Spurgeon, Sermons from The Metropolitan Tabernacle and sacred music. PRAYER 13, October 27th Part 8 of 11
THE WINGS OF PRAYER.
Dear Savior, we are Thy disciples, and Thou art [are] teaching us the art of living; but we are very dull and very slow, and beside [that], there is such a bias in our corrupt nature, and there are such examples in the world, and the influence of an ungodly generation tells [shows] even upon those that know Thee.
O, dear Savior, be not impatient with us, but still school [teach] us at Thy feet, till at last we shall have learned some of the sublime lessons of self-sacrifice, of meekness, humility, fervor, [rigor] boldness, and love which Thy life is fit to teach us.
O Lord, we beseech [implore] Thee, mold us into Thine own image. Let us live in Thee and live like Thee.
Let us gaze upon Thy glory till we are transformed by the sight, and become Christ-like among the sons of men.
[I pray this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ Amen.]

ANECDOTE 87: October 27th Prosperity [is] Dangerous.
Ships never strike on [run into] rocks out in the great deeps. Children, perhaps, may fancy [imagine] that a shallow sea is the safest, but an old sailor knows better.
While he is off the Irish coast the captain has to keep a good look out, but while he is crossing the Atlantic he is in far less danger. There he has plenty of sea-room, and there is no fear of quicksands or of shoals [underwater sand].
When the sailor enters the [River] Thames he encounters first one sand bank and then another, and he is in danger, but out in the deep water, where he finds no bottom, he is but [only a] little afraid.
So, mark you, in the judgments of God. When he is dealing out affliction to us it is the safest possible sailing that a Christian can have. “What,” says one, “ [a] trial, safe?” Yes, very safe. The safest part of a Christian’s life is the time of his trial.
“What, when a man is down do you say he is safe ?” Yes, for then he need fear no fall; when he is low he need fear no pride; when he is humbled under God’s hand then he is less likely to be carried away with every wind of temptation [doctrine].
Smooth water on the way to heaven is always a sign that the soul should keep wide awake, for danger is near.
One comes at last to feel a solemn dread creeping over one in times of prosperity. “Thou shalt fear and tremble because of all the good that God shall make to pass before thee,” fearing not so much lest [for fear that] the good should depart as lest [for fear that] we should make an ill [poor] use of it, and should have a canker of sloth, or self-confidence, or worldliness growing up in our spirits.
We have seen many professed Christians make shipwreck, in some few instances it has been attributable to overwhelming sorrow, but in ten cases to the one it has been attributable to prosperity.
FAITH’S CHECKBOOK October 27th HIS SERVICE, FACE, NAME C.H. Spurgeon
His servants shall serve him: and they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads- Revelation 22:3,4
-Sus siervos le servirán. Y verán su cara; y su nombre estará en sus frentes-
Apocalipsis 22:3,4
Three choice blessings will be ours in the glory land.
(1) -His servants shall serve him.- No other lords shall oppress us, no other service shall distress us. We shall serve Jesus always, perfectly, without weariness, and without error. This is Heaven to a saint: in all things to serve the Lord Christ, and to be owned by Him as His servant is our soul’s high ambition for eternity.
(2) -And they shall see his face.- We Shall Behold Him (Face to Face) by Sandi Patti (click for audio) This makes the service delightful: indeed, it is the present reward of service. We shall know our Lord, for we shall see Him as He is. To see the face of Jesus is the utmost favor that the most faithful servant of the Lord can ask. What more could Moses ask than -Let me see thy face.-
(3) -And his name shall be in their foreheads.- They gaze upon their Lord till His name is photographed [visible] upon their brows. They are acknowledged by Him, and they acknowledge Him. The secret mark of inward grace develops into the public sign-manual of confessed relationship.
O Lord, give us these three things in their beginnings here, that we may possess them in their fullness in thine own abode of bliss! [Heaven]
Prayer: Thank You Lord that We shall serve You and We shall know our Lord, for we shall see You as You are. To see Your face Lord Jesus is the utmost favor that the most faithful servant of the Lord can ask; both now and for eternity. And Your name shall be in our foreheads.-
We gaze upon You Lord till Your name is photographed [visible] upon our brows [foreheads]. We are acknowledged by You, and we acknowledge You. The secret mark of inward grace develops into the public sign-manual of confessed relationship. O Lord, give us these three things in their beginnings here, that we may possess them in their fullness in thine own abode of bliss! [Heaven] Please make these three blessings to be seen in me today and forever in Jesus name, Amen.

… and pray for many souls to be saved and for all believers to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ [The Messiah].
The Lord … is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Pray also that believers will be taught by the Holy Spirit to rightly divide and proclaim God’s eternal Word preserved by God, Himself.
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten [supernaturally fathered] Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but may be having eternal life.

vis. The Textus Receptus TR [Received Text] was faithfully rendered from the overwhelming majority of extant Greek texts of the New Testament and The Masoretic Hebrew text MT. Text that was meticulously copied by hand [manuscript] of the Old Testament Hebrew. The inferior and erroneous Sinaiticus and Vaticanus codices notwithstanding; are often in disagreement with one another.
Never-the-less, these compromised codices are set forth as modern textual criticism to fuel the explosion of the plethora of new translations and new editions. Modern textual criticism is based on the false assumption that older manuscripts are, de facto, better. Actually, the unsettled debates, reflect doctrinal ambiguities or are used to bolster unsupported secular or denominational biases that allow blasphemous translations to spring up from faulty Greek texts. From these texts they would, were it possible, diminish God’s Sovereignty, Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Immutability, Inerrancy and Infallibility and rob Glory from the infinite and everlasting “I AM” that is deserving of ALL GLORY.
MORNING October 27th
“It is a faithful saying.” 2 Timothy 2:11
─Es palabra fiel─ 2 Timoteo 2:11
Paul has four of these “faithful sayings.” The first occurs in 1 Timothy 1:15, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.”
The next is in 1 Timothy 4:6, “Godliness is profitable unto all things, having the promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation.”
The third is in 2 Timothy 2:12, “It is a faithful saying—If we suffer with him we shall also reign with him”; and
the fourth is in Titus 3:3, “This is a faithful saying, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works.”
We may trace a connection between these faithful sayings. The first one lays the foundation of our eternal salvation in the free grace of God, as shown to us in the mission of the great Redeemer. The next affirms the double blessedness which we obtain through this salvation—the blessings of the upper and nether [lower] springs—of time and of eternity. The third shows one of the duties to which the chosen people are called; we are ordained to suffer for Christ with the promise that “if we suffer, we shall also reign with him.” The last sets forth the active form of Christian service, bidding us diligently to maintain good works. Thus, we have the root of salvation in free grace; next, the privileges of that salvation in the life which now is, and in that which is to come; and we have also the two great branches of suffering with Christ and serving with Christ, loaded with the fruits of the Spirit.
Treasure up these faithful sayings. Let them be the guides of our life, our comfort, and our instruction.
The apostle of the Gentiles proved them to be faithful, they are faithful still, not one word shall fall to the ground; they are worthy of all acceptation, let us accept them now, and prove their faithfulness. Let these four faithful sayings be written on the four corners of my house.
Evening October 27th
“We are all as an unclean thing.” Isaiah 64:6
─Si bien todos nosotros somos como suciedad ─ Isaías 64:6
The believer is a new creature, he belongs to a holy generation and a peculiar people—the Spirit of God is in him, and in all respects he is far removed from the natural man; but for all that the Christian is a sinner still. [He is still a sinner] He is so from the imperfection of his nature, and will continue so to the end of his earthly life. The black fingers of sin leave smuts [filth] upon our fairest [most beautiful] robes. Sin mars [defaces] our repentance, ere [before] the great Potter has finished it, upon the wheel. Selfishness defiles our tears, and unbelief tampers with our faith. The best thing we ever did, apart from the merit of Jesus, only swelled [increased] the number of our sins; for when we have been most pure in our own sight, yet, like the heavens, we are not pure in God’s sight; and as he charged his angels with folly, much more must he charge us with it, even in our most angelic frames of mind.
The song which thrills to heaven, and seeks to emulate seraphic strains, hath human discords in it.
The prayer which moves the arm of God is still a bruised and battered prayer, and only moves that arm because the sinless One, the great Mediator, has stepped in to take away the sin of our supplication.
The most golden faith or the purest degree of sanctification to which a Christian ever attained on earth, has still so much alloy in it as to be only worthy of the flames, in itself considered.
Every night we look in the glass [mirror] we see a sinner, and had need confess, “We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness is as filthy rags.” Oh, how precious the blood of Christ to such hearts as ours! How priceless a gift is his perfect righteousness! And how bright the hope of perfect holiness hereafter! Even now, though sin dwells in us, its power is broken.
It has no dominion; it is a broken-backed snake; we are in bitter conflict with it, but it is with a vanquished [defeated] foe that we have to deal.
Yet a little while and we shall enter victoriously into the city where nothing defileth [nothing can ever defile any more].

ORIGINAL: The Pilgrim’s Progress Pub. by Logos,1853 from 1678 Original by John Bunyan
REVISED TEXT by Barry E. Horner: The Pilgrim’s Progrefs [sic]...
in Pilgrim’s Progress. (Tthe World’s most widely circulated Allegory by John Bunyan, also credited, by some, as being the world’s first English novel.

"Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me [Spurgeon's comment] of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melody] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus; it is our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.

A SINNER’S PRAYER
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Pray and call on the name of the Lord Jesus.
Pray like this, won’t you? :
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner hopeless without You. I would never be able to save myself. Without your death on the cross to pay my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity condemned in Hell. By nature and practice I am a natural-born sinner. I’m totally depraved and I sin because I am a sinner. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best or being as good as possible, or being better than other people or having good excuses can never save me.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, by name right now Lord Jesus to save me. You died on the cross in my place to pay for my sin. Your Word says, “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21. Thank You, Lord.
Right now, I surrender my sinful self to You, just as I am, Lord Jesus and I trust You to forgive and save me and be my Lord and Master.
Please forgive me for all my sins. I’m sorry for every sin (bad thoughts, words and things I have done) and look to You to forgive me of them all. I need your strength to overcome sin’s temptations. Thank you for forgiving me.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross.
Thank you Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was born and that You love me still.
Thank you Heavenly Father that You have made the way of redemption, forgiveness and atonement for me and have drawn me away from sin and death into Life in Your only begotten son. He took my place and suffered my punishment.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave. In Christ Jesus there is therefore now no condemnation.

SACRED LITERATURE:
ORIGINAL: The Pilgrim’s Progress Pub. by Logos,1853 from 1678 Original by John Bunyan
REVISED TEXT by Barry E. Horner: The Pilgrim’s Progrefs [sic]...
in Pilgrim’s Progress. (Tthe World’s most widely circulated Allegory by John Bunyan, also credited, by some, as being the world’s first English novel.
IT’S FREE. No subscription required. You may choose to read at your own pace, or you may want to view DailySpugeon.com for daily encounters with Pilgrim.)

A SINNER’S PRAYER:

PRAYER 13, Part 8 of 11
THE WINGS OF PRAYER.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK October 27 HIS SERVICE, FACE, NAME C.H.
[Heaven] Please make these three blessings to manifest in me today and forever in Jesus name, Amen.

… and pray for the saving of many souls the disciple-ing and strengthening of all believers.

Evening October 27
