DEVOTION for July 30th *A.D. 2025

Note: The New King James Version NKJV and all other versions that are NOT translated from the Textus Receptus [Received Text] are inferior to the translations of the 1769 [1611] King James Version, KJV and the Geneva Bible. Only these two translations have remained faithful to the traditional Textus Receptus.
The Textus Receptus [Received Text] is supported by more than 5,321 Majority Greek Text MT Manuscripts that agree 99% with one another. ALL OTHER readings have as their primary Greek source either Westcott and Hort’s or Nestle and Aland’s, made up Greek Texts fabricated from only a handful [45] of Majority Text Manuscripts and lack the trustworthiness of the inspired 1769 [1611] King James Version, KJV and the Geneva Bibles; the only two translated from the reliable, inspired and divinely protected Textus Receptus.

The Bridge to Babylon video presents historical evidence to account for the explosion of over 100 different English version translations of the Bible into English. The continuing attempts to replace, add or take away from the 1769 King James Version of the Holy Bible will not prevail because GOD Himself preserves and protects His Holy Word
from all heresy, blasphemy, confusion and error.

Should you trust this website ?
Is it of God?
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everyone or everything] you hear but be testing the spirit [voice] whether it is of God: because many false prophets have gone [come] out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses [avows] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come[who came] out of God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses [avows] not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit [voice] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Hence, I confess here, audibly, that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh.
[The English translations of the Bible that use other Greek manuscripts than the Textus Receptus render “Has come” and ignore “ictin” (Greek word for is) This error is self-evident because non-believers and false prophets can, and do, make the confession that He “has come” in the flesh. While this is true at face value, it does not bear the burden of discernment that it promises..
The most well documented fact in all recorded human history is that Jesus. the Christ [Messiah] has come in the flesh. The main question to be ascertained, however, is not whether the spirit [words or person] being tested confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh but, of essential importance, is whether Jesus Christ, “is here, from God, in the flesh.”
30 for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Compare, here, scripture with scripture: “I speak concerning Christ and the church.” [the fleshly embodiment, here, of the body of Christ].

Jusus The Mesiah [Christ] has always and Forever existed as the WORD of God. John 1:1-2
He was born of a virgin 2,025 years ago in Bethlehem,
is alive today, and is coming soon for His bride; the Church
(the redeemed).
1 Timothy 3:16
Authorized (King James) Version
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
May the Holy Ghost draw you to Himself to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and to receive Him as your Savior and Lord and to publicly acknowledge Him, so He will acknowledge you to His Father; The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. You are also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and said to him. “Remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
The act of Baptism pictures the Lord’s death and resurrection and by extension through identification with Him, also pictures the believer’s death to self, atonement, and new, born-again life.
Baptism bears witness to the preaching of John the Baptist. He preached the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and exhorted Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but is to be followed to fulfil all righteousness.
We desire to Worship Him in Spirit and in truth through prayer, Bible readings, scriptural meditation, gospel preaching, singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs.
To this purpose, Daily Spurgeon, is dedicated.
This website is not intended, were it possible, to take the place of fellowship or congregational worship in a local body of believers.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [accurately comprehending and sharing] the word of truth.” [God’s immutable
To Be a devoted follower of the Lord Jesus Christ is now my fervent desire. I trust Him to save me eternally from sin to eternal life.
I will, with His help, follow Him in soul winning by any instrumentality He may choose inviting and encouraging non-believers to repent , turn away from sin, look to Him and be saved.
We trust that all believers (old and new) will benefit in knowing that He will sustain, guide and build us up as we are being conformed to the image of Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Ghost.
Daily Spurgeon is a collection of inspired devotional writings, prayers, hymns, sacred literature and encouragement by Charles Haddon Spurgeon, rightly dividing the Gospel [Good News] of JESUS the CHRIST [MESSIAH].

PRAYER 25, Part 10 of 10 July 30th
THE WASHING OF WATER BY THE WORD.
Now, we pray Thee to grant us the blessing which we have already sought, and let it come upon all the churches of our beloved country. May the Lord revive true and undefiled religion [Faith in Jesus Christ alone] here and in all the other lands where [Jesus] Christ is known and preached, and let the day come when heathendom shall become converted, when the crescent of Mohammed shall wane into eternal night, and when she that sitteth [sits] on the Seven Hills and exalts [pridefully places] herself in the place of God shall be cast down to sink like a millstone in the flood. Let the blessed Gospel of the eternal God prevail, let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Oh! that we may live to see that day.
[In your name, Lord Jesus we pray, Amen.]

ANECDOTE 343: July 30th Fishing but Never Catching.
If a minister can be content to go on preaching without converts or baptisms, the Lord have mercy upon his miserable soul! Can he be a minister of Christ who does not win souls? A man might as well be a huntsman and never take any prey [edible food] , a fisherman and always come home with empty nets, a husbandman and never reap a harvest! I wonder at some people’s complacency. When God never blesses them, they never fail to bless themselves.
“Divine sovereignty withholds the increase,” they say. But it really is their idleness that tends to poverty. The promise of God is to the diligent, not the indolent [lazy]. Let Paul plant, and let Apollos water, God will give the increase. It may not come to-day, nor to-morrow, nor the next day, but come it must.
The word cannot return unto God void.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK July 30th THE MOURNER COMFORTED by C.H. Spurgeon
-Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted- Matthew 5:4
-Bienaventurados los que lloran: porque ellos recibirán consolación- Mateo 5:4
By the valley of weeping, we come to Zion. One would have thought mourning and being blessed were in opposition, but the infinitely wise Savior puts them together, in this beatitude [blessing]. What He has joined together let no man put asunder [apart]. Mourning for sin
-our own sins, and the sins of others-
is the Lord’s seal set upon His faithful ones.
When the Spirit of grace is poured upon the house of David, or any other house, they shall mourn.
By [through] holy mourning we receive the best of our blessings, even as the rarest commodities come to us by water. Not only shall the mourner be blessed at some future day, but
Christ pronounces him blessed even now.
The Holy Spirit will surely comfort those hearts which mourn for sin.
They shall be comforted by the application of the blood of Jesus, and by the cleansing power of the Holy Ghost. They shall be comforted as to the abounding sin of their city and of their age by the assurance that
God will glorify Himself, however much men may rebel against Him.
They shall be comforted with the expectation that they shall be wholly freed from sin before long, and shall soon be taken up to dwell forever in the glorious presence of their Lord.
Prayer: Thank You Father, that You comfort our mourning. Thank You also for giving us Your word of encouragement. Help us to embrace sorrow knowing that you will bring blessing to us, from it in your name, Lord Jesus, I pray, Amen.

MORNING July 30th
"The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out. " —Leviticus 6:13
-El fuego ha de arder continuamente en el altar ; no se apagará-—Levítico 6:13
KEEP the altar of private prayer burning. This is the very life of all godliness. The sanctuary [church worship] and family altars [personal devotions] borrow their fires here [start new fires from lively, burning ones], therefore let this one burn well.
Secret devotion is the very essence, evidence, and barometer of vital and experiential [practical] religion [vibrant, lively faith in the Lord Jesus].
Burn here the fat of your sacrifices. Let your closet [private prayer] seasons be, if possible, regular, frequent, and undisturbed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16. [is very fruitful].
Have you nothing to pray for? Let us suggest
the church,
the ministry [and ministers],
your own soul,
your children,
your relations,
your neighbors,
your country, and
the cause of God and truth throughout the world.
Let us examine ourselves on this important matter. Do we engage with luke-warmness [half-heartedness] in private devotion? Is the fire of devotion [to the Lord Jesus] burning dimly in our hearts? Do the chariot wheels drag heavily [barely turn]?
If so, let us be alarmed at this sign of decay. Let us go with weeping and ask for the Spirit of grace and of supplications [effectual prayer].
Let us set apart special seasons for extraordinary prayer.
For if this fire should be smothered beneath the ashes of worldly conformity, it will dim the fire on family devotions, and lessen our influence both in the church and in the world.
The text will also apply to the altar of the heart. This is a golden altar indeed.
God loves to see the hearts of His people glowing towards Himself.
Let us give our hearts to God, all blazing with love, and seek His grace, that the fire may never be quenched [put out]; for it will not burn if the Lord does not keep it burning.
Many foes will attempt to extinguish it; but if the unseen hand behind the wall pour thereon the sacred oil, it will blaze higher and higher.
Let us use texts of Scripture as fuel for our heart's fire, they are live coals; let us attend sermons, but above all,
let us be much alone with Jesus.
________________________________________
EVENING July 30th
"He appeared first to Mary Magdalene. " —Mark 16:9
— Apareció Jesús primeramente á María Magdalena—Marcos 16:9
JESUS "appeared first to Mary Magdalene,"
probably not only on account of her great love and persevering [relentless] seeking, but because, as the context intimates, [shows] she had been a special trophy of Christ's delivering power.
Learn from this, that the greatness of our sin before conversion should not make us imagine that we may not be specially favored with the very highest grade of fellowship.
She was one who had left all to become a constant attendant on the Savior. He was her first, her chief object. Many who were on Christ's side did not take up Christ's cross;
she did.
She spent her substance in relieving His wants. If we would see much of Christ, let us
serve Him.
Tell me who they are that sit oftenest [the most frequently] under the banner of His love and drink deepest from the cup of communion [the Lord’s supper], and I am sure they will be those who give most, who serve best, and who abide closest to the bleeding heart of their dear Lord [Jesus].
But notice how Christ revealed Himself to this sorrowing one—by the word,
"Mary."
With only one word in His voice, she knew Him at once, and her heart owned allegiance by another word; her heart was too full to say more.
That one word would naturally be the most fitting for the occasion. It implies obedience.
She said, "Master."
There is no state of mind in which this confession of allegiance will be too cold. No, when your spirit glows most with the heavenly fire, then you will say,
"I am Your servant, You have loosed my bonds [You have set me free]."
If you can say, "Master," if you feel that His will is your will, then you stand in a happy, holy place.
He must have said your name or else you could not have said, "Rabboni" [Master].
See, then, from all this, how Christ honors those who honor Him, how love draws [attracts] our Beloved, [and] how but one word of His,
turns our weeping to rejoicing, how
His presence makes the heart's sunshine [sunshine in our hearts].

Create in Me a Clean Heart Sing with the Maranatha Singers, won’t you?
Today’s PRAISE music selections came to mind from today’s Anecdote, Faith’s Checkbook, and todays date for the birth of a Godly Nation built on God’s Word, The Holy Bible.
OUTWARD practical holiness is a very precious mark of grace. I fear that many have perverted the doctrine of justification by faith [in Jesus Christ] in such a way as to treat good works with contempt; if so, they will receive everlasting contempt at the last great day.
If our hands are not clean, let us wash them in Jesus' precious blood, and so let us lift up pure hands to God.
But "clean hands" will not suffice, unless they are connected with "a pure heart."
True religion [faith] is heart-work. We may wash the outside of the cup and the platter as long as we please, but if the inward parts be filthy, we are filthy altogether in the sight of God, for our hearts are more truly ourselves than our hands are; the very life of our being lies in the inner nature, and hence the imperative need of purity within.
The pure in heart shall see God, all others are but blind bats.
The man who is born for heaven "hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity." All men have their joys by which their souls are lifted up;
the worldling [“carnal man”] lifts up his soul in carnal delights which are mere empty vanities; but
the saint loves more substantial things.
Like Jehoshaphat, he is lifted up in the ways of the Lord.
He who is content with husks [pig slop] will be reckoned [counted] with the swine.
Does the world satisfy you? Then you have your reward and portion in this life; make the most of it, for you will know no other joy.
"Nor sworn deceitfully. " The saints are men of honor still. The Christian man's word is his only oath; but that is as good as twenty oaths of other men.
False speaking will shut any man out of heaven, for a liar will not enter into God's house, whatever may be his professions or doings.
Reader, are we condemned by false speaking or do we hope to ascend to the hill of the Lord [ZION] ?
Sing: We’re Marching to Zion

A SINNER’S PRAYER
Whosoever shall call on the name of the lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Pray and call on the name of the Lord Jesus, like this. Won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner. I’m lost and hopeless to save myself. Without you and your blood that was shed for me and Your death on the cross I would spend eternity in Hell’s fire.
Thank you Lord Jesus that You love me and died for me before I was born and that You have always loved me and will never reject or turn your back on me. I know You are the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one can come to the Father but by trusting in You.
Thank you, Father that You have caused me to see myself as I am; a lost sinner. But, because of Your love and goodness, You have made a way and given me the desire to come to You, to turn away from my sin and to trust in You, Lord Jesus. You took my place on the cross and provided the way for me to be forgiven. Thank You.
Thank You that You prompted a desire in me to believe in You, the only begotten Son of God who died on the cross to be the sacrifice that would atone for my sins.
Thank You, Father for Your love that allowed Jesus to suffer and die in my place. Thank You that You raised Jesus from the dead. He is RISEN and is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave and in Christ Jesus I am free.
You raised Jesus from the dead, gave Him a Glorified body and after he was seen by many witnesses on earth You took Him up to reign with You in heaven.
Thank you, Father, for saving me in the name, of Your only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Romans 6:11
Thank you, Holy Spirit, that you always give witness to and exalt the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 16:8-11
With all my heart, thank you Lord for saving me.
Live Your life in me, Lord Jesus, in Your name I pray, Amen.

Paul’s gratitude, contentment and blessing recorded in the book of Philippians quotes the principle and practices regarding all contributions to the Publishing Company. We desire fruit that may abound to your account through your generosity: (vis.)
"For even in [the] Thessaloni'ca [jail] ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. Philippians 4:17. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received the things which were sent from you, an odor of a sweet smell, Exodus. 29.18 a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God. …But I know that my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:17-19. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Salute [Greet] every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you All the saints salute [Greet] you, chiefly they that are of *Caesar’s household. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Philippians 4:23 Amen”
* Not only were new converts won to the truth in Caesar's household, but after their conversion they remained in that household. They did not feel at liberty to abandon their post of duty because their surroundings were no longer congenial. [They were now out of their comfort zone but obliged to steadfastly remain and serve there] The truth had found them there, and there they remained, by their changed life and character testifying to the transforming power of their new found faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers.
Let us make daily use of our riches, and ever repair [return] to Him as to our own Lord in covenant, taking from Him the supply of all we need with as much boldness as men take money from their own purse [wallet].

This video presents the truth for those who seek to learn about and use the providentially protected, preserved and immutable Holy Bible that is both inerrant [without error] and infallible and gives God alone, the utmost praise, and the greatest glory due to HIMSELF. Praise and worship are rightfully insisted upon and commanded in God’s inspired [God-Breathed (Spoken) Word from God himself.
INSPIRED [God Breathed] HOLY WORDS were given and are protected by by God through the Holy Ghost, word by word, to His Holy Prophets and Apostles comprise all eternal Holy Scripture. (Matthew 5:18)

The inspired, god breathed, immortal words, were uttered, word-by-word, to the holy prophets and apostles who were chosen of God and moved by the holy ghost. These words are protected and preserved in holy scripture and are written word-by-word and are immutable, [unchanged and unchangeable] without error, and infallible [incapable of mistake or heresy]. and for ever [sic] settled in heaven by God himself in the self-authenticating word of god, itself.

The Inside Story of Westcott and Hort:
Brooke Foss Westcott and Fenton John Anthony Hort (Text only)
URL: https://www.febc.edu.sg/article/def_the_inside_story_of_westcott_and_hort
In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:
* Letters from close relatives are quoted in the Inside Story above
The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,
thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort or Nestle & Aland.is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on defective text. Those who honor the Word of God must not promote any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved, inerrant unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it must be to Him if His people now chose versions that are based on the defective and inferior Greek manuscript invented by Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Aland.

REVISED TEXT by Barry E. Horner: The Pilgrim’s Progrefs [sic]...
in Pilgrim’s Progress. (The World’s most widely circulated Allegory by John Bunyan, also credited, by some, as being the world’s first English novel.
IT’S FREE. No subscription required. You may choose to read at your own pace, or you may want to view DailySpugeon.com for daily encounters with Pilgrim.)
"Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me [Spurgeon's comment] of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melody] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus; it is our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.

SACRED LITERATURE:
THE PILGRIM’S PROGRESS by John Bunyan is the most famous Allegory, world-wide and the Most widely Published Book of all time and was printed in over 200 Languages. It has NEVER, since 1698, been out-of-print.
Only The King James Bible was more widely published than The Pilgrim’s Progress.
ONLINE PRINT LIBRARY: (No Enrollment Fee or Registration required)
BUNYAN’S ORIGINAL of 1678: The Pilgrim’s Progress Published in 1853 by Logos
REVISED VERSION: The Pilgrim’s Progrefs [sic] 1999 by Barry E. Horner
OLD ENGLISH PRINT: The Pilgrim’s Progress Part II AKA Christiana
(Christian’s wife, Christiana and children; their dangerous journey, and safe arrival at the desired country.)
Pilgrim Progress is the world’s most famous Allegory, It and the Bible were commonly the only books to be found in the cabin of early American Settlers and were loved and read more than any book, second only to the Holy Bible. It’s also considered, by some, as being the world’s first English novel. It’s likely the most published book other than the Bible of all time. There were 1,300 editions printed before 1938, 250 years after the Bunyan’s death. Hence, the world’s most famous Allegory.
Comment on Pilgrim’s Progress by Charles H. Spurgeon from the Spurgeon Sermon
“Christ in You”.
Spurgeon: Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [happy melodies] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart [main castle] he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, Oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh, for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus, The Messiah; our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.
Spurgeon Sermon: Christ in You, Preached May 13, 1883 Scripture: Colossians 1:27 From: Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit, Volume 29 (cit. II. THE SWEETNESS OF THIS MYSTERY, WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, § 5)
You may choose to read, listen or share Pilgrim’s Progress with your little ones as a bed time story. It will bless, strengthen, encourage and instruct pilgrims of all ages and will create precious and enduring memories in little ears.
Spurgeon read it for the first time as a precocious five year old reader and would returned to read it over 100 times during the course of his remarkable ministry as a Baptist pastor who is known as The Prince of Preachers .

A SINNER'S PRAYER
________________________________________
PRAYER 26, Part 14 of 14
PRAYER ANSWERED AND UNANSWERED.
And now, Father, glorify Thy Son!
In scattering pardons through His precious blood glorify Thy Son!
In sending forth the Eternal Spirit to convince [convict] men and bring them to His feet,
Father, glorify Thy Son!
In enriching Thy saints with gifts and graces, and building, them up into His image,
Father glorify Thy Son!
In the gathering together of the whole company of His elect and in the hastening of His kingdom and His coming,
Father glorify Thy Son!
Beyond this prayer we cannot go:
“Glorify Thy Son that Thy Son also may glorify Thee,”
And unto Father, Son and Holy Spirit be glory for ever and ever.
Amen.

ANECDOTE: 258 Providence as a Detective
Do you not know that Providence is a wonderful detective?
There are hounds upon the track of every thief, and murderer, and liar — in fact,
upon every sinner of every kind. Each sin leaves a trail.
The dogs of judgment will be sure to scent [sniff] it out [following the trail] , and find their prey.
There is no disentangling your selves from the meshes of guilt ; no possibility of evading the penalty of transgression. Very wonderful [amazing] have been the ways in which persons who have committed crimes have been brought to judgment. A trifle becomes a tell-tale [clue]. The method of deceit gives a clue to the manner of discovery.
Wretched [are] the men who bury their secrets in their own bosom [heart]. Their conscience plays traitor to [betrays] them. They have often been forced to betray themselves. We have read of men talking in their sleep to their fellows, and babbling out in their dreams the crime they had committed years before.
God would [desires to] have the secret disclosed.
No eye had seen, neither could any other tongue have told, but the man turned king’s [state’s] evidence against himself; he has thus brought himself to judgment. It has often happened, in some form or other, that conscience has thus been witness against men.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK JULY 30 PROMISE OF FUTURE MEETING C.H. Spurgeon
…but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice…- John 16:22
“Pero os volveré a ver otra vez, y se gozará vuestro corazón." Versión Reina Valera.
Juan 16:22
Surely He, [the Lord Jesus Christ] will come a second time, and then, when He sees us, and we see Him, there will be rejoicings indeed. Oh for that joyous return!
But this promise is being daily fulfilled in another sense.
Our gracious Lord has many -agains- in His dealings with us. He gave us pardon, and He sees us again, and repeats the absolving word as fresh sins cause us grief. He has revealed to us our acceptance before God, and when our faith in that blessing grows a little dim,
He comes to us again and again,
and says,
-Peace be unto you-;
and our hearts are glad.
Beloved, all our past mercies are tokens of future mercies. If Jesus has been with us, He will see us again. Look upon no former favor as a dead and buried thing, to be mourned over; but regard it as a seed sown, which will grow, and push its head up from the dust, and cry,
-I will see you again.-
Are the times dark because Jesus is not with us as he used to be? Let us pluck up courage [encourage ourselves]; for He will not be long away [for very long]. His feet are as those of a roe [small deer] or young hart [male red deer], and they will soon bring Him to us.
Wherefore let us begin to be joyous, since He saith [says] to us even now,
-I will see you again.- [See you later!]
Prayer: Thank You Lord, that You will see us again, soon and that You see us often to pardon and comfort us. Thank You that all our past mercies are tokens of future mercies. Oh, for joy! You will meet us again and again and return in due time. I will meet and rejoice with You according to Your word Lord Jesus, Amen. Help me to rejoice in your providence today in Your name, Lord Jesus, Amen.

… and pray that souls will be saved, thereby.
Pray also that believers will faithfully and rightly divide [proclaim, preach and share] God’s everlasting Word, the Bible providentially preserved and immutably protected by God Himself for all mankind.
And pray that all blood-bought born-again proclaim, the good news of Jesus Christ who suffered and died on the cross for lost sinners, rose alive again from the dead and went up to His Father in heaven, providing everlasting life to all that will believe.
Pray that all redeemed, blood-bought, born-again children of God faithfully minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature.
God bless you in Jesus name, Amen.

MORNING July 30
"And when he thought thereon, he wept. "—Mark 14:72
—Y pensando en esto, lloraba — Marcos 14:72
IT has been thought by some that as long as Peter lived, the fountain of his tears began to flow whenever he remembered his denying his Lord. It is not unlikely that this was so, for his sin was very great, and grace in him had afterwards a perfect work. This same experience is common to all the redeemed family according to the degree in which the Spirit of God has removed the natural heart of stone.
We, like Peter, remember our boastful promise:
"Though all men shall forsake Thee, yet will not I.
We eat our own words with the bitter herbs of repentance. When we think of what we vowed we would be, and of what we have been, we may weep whole showers of grief.
He [Peter] thought on his denial of his Lord: the place in which he did it, the little cause which led him into such heinous sin, the oaths [cursing] and blasphemies [denying, God] with which he sought to confirm his falsehood, and the dreadful hardness of heart which drove him to do so again and yet again.
Can we, when we are reminded of our sins, and their exceeding sinfulness, remain stolid [unmoved] and stubborn? Will we not make our house a Bochim, [Place of mourning] and cry unto the Lord for renewed assurances of pardoning love?
May we never take a dry-eyed look at sin without, lest before long we have a tongue parched in the flames of hell.
Peter also thought on his Master's look of love. The Lord followed up the cock's [rooster's] warning voice with an admonitory [admonishing] look of sorrow, pity, and love.
That glance was never out of Peter's mind so long as he lived. It was far more effectual than ten thousand sermons would have been without the Spirit. The penitent apostle would be sure to weep when he recollected [recalled] the Savior's ful1 forgiveness which restored him to his former place.
To think that we have offended so kind and good a Lord is more than sufficient reason for being constant weepers.
Lord, smite our rocky hearts, and make the waters flow.

EVENING July 30
"Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out. " —John 6:37
—Al que á mí viene, no le hecho fuera. — Juan 6:37
N0 limit is set to the duration of this promise. It does not merely say,
"I will not cast out a sinner at his first coming," but,
"I will in no wise cast out."
The original reads,
"I will not, not cast out," or "I will never, never cast out."
The text means that Christ will not at first reject a believer; and that
since he will not do it at first neither will He at the last.
But suppose the believer sins after coming [the last time]?
"If any man sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous."
But suppose that believers backslide?
"I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for Mine anger is turned away from them."
But believers may fall under temptation!
"God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
But the believer may fall into sin as David did!
Yes, but He [Jesus] will
"Purge them with hyssop, and they shall be clean; He will wash them and they shall be whiter than snow;" "From all their iniquities [sins] will I cleanse them."
Once in Christ, in Christ forever,
Nothing from His love can sever.
"I give unto My sheep," He says, "eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand."
What say you to this, 0h trembling feeble mind?
Is not this a precious mercy, that coming to Christ you do not come to one who will treat you well for a little while, and then send you about your business, but He will receive you and make you His bride, and you will be His forever?
Receive no longer the spirit of bondage again to fear, but the spirit of adoption whereby we cry,
Abba, [Daddy] Father!
Oh, the grace of these words:
"I will in no wise cast out."

A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER: [For One and all]
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am hopeless. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross for my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity condemned to Hell. I have been self-centered from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m guilty and sorry for each and every sin I have done and look to You to forgive me of them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, Lord Jesus, right now to save me. You died on the cross for me, because of my sin and You say, “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21.
Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me, I trust You, to be my Lord and Savior from now on.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins. I ask You to abide in me and give me the desire to always follow You.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross. Even the sins of the whole world.
Thank you, Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me even before I was born and that You still love me now. I love You too.
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You have called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [Holy Ghost, Comforter, Spirit of Truth]
Thank You for saving me heavenly Father. With all my heart, thank you Father for saving me in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Allow us to share the joy of your new birth with heaven. Won’t you? Heaven rejoices over each redeemed sinner. Luke 15:7

In defense of the Masoretic Hebrew of the Old Testament and the GreekTextus Receptus:
The Incomplete and unsealed codices of Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are not translated from the majority texts, [Original Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus]. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus present variant, ambiguous and erroneous readings rather than that of the well-established and settled texts. They disagree often with one another as well as with the settled majority texts. Thus, an attempt to create a pretext that will continue to justify a never-ending demand for additional editions and interpretations. These unsettled differences and bias in certain sectarian doctrine [dogma] have led to the production of multiple “modern” editions with ambiguities, many variant readings and confusion from the explosion of unending, new editions.
Profit-driven publishers have embraced such an economic windfall to sell a continual flow of “new and better” English edition of The Bible. They give too little attention to the fidelity and accuracy already settled [in heaven] in majority manuscripts of the Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus.
Psalm 119:89-90
89 Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations:
thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. [abides]
God, Himself, providentially protects and preserves His Word. His Word is the God-breathed, self-authenticating, immutable [unchanging and unchangeable], eternal, inerrant, infallible, infinite and all-powerful Word, settled in heaven. He is not the author of confusion.

Our Prayer: Dear Lord, empower your ministry to win many souls, and serve those in need, especially those in the household of faith, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
Disclaimer: The John Mark Publishing Company does not solicit praise of Charles H. Spurgeon or his writing or preaching. He didn’t need or want it then and wouldn’t desire it now. Our aim is to lift up and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to preach Christ Jesus only and him crucified.
Precaution: These Messages and prayers will not substitute for continual fellowship with the Lord Jesus or for gathering in in-person worship. Neither will they replace personal reading, meditation, prayer and fasting over God's divinely preserved and eternal Word imparted by the Holy Spirit.
The Authorized King James Version (AKJV), also known as the Authorized Version (AV), is the authentic English Bible because it is rendered [translated into English] accurately and faithfully from the established majority of the Greek Textus Receptus [received text] manuscripts of the New Testament and the Hebrew Masoretic Text of the Old Testament (The Jewish Tanakh) These manuscripts are providentially protected of God, and always give a greater glory to God when compared to variant readings. The established majority manuscripts avoid doctrinal error, inaccuracies in translation, uninspired editorial notations, variant or ambiguous readings taken from Codices Vaticanus, or Sinaiticus.
The Authorized King James version is unique also in that the requirement of Great Brittan that all King James bibles be printed only by the Cambridge University Press, The Crown’s Authorized Printer. No other [person or publisher] may print, copy or import the King James Bible into Great Brittan by order of the Crown.
Printed Prayer: Printed prayers must not be read or offered as a substitute for personal, fervent, effectual, heart-felt, prayer. They are offered, rather, to warm the hearts of those who will presently seek a season of fervent, authentic two-way, heart-to-heart fellowship and prayer with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Authentic revelations from God during prayer are always consistent with His revealed Word, the Bible.
Preaching Preparation: When preparing to preach, please send us the text reference that has been chosen if you would like us to send the Spurgeon Sermon addressing the same text.
My Prayer is that You would touch, lift up, encourage and teach all who faithfully minister your Word. Bless all who minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. May Your blessing and holy anointing fall fresh upon each dear reader and abide with each one who rightly divides and faithfully proclaims Your Word [The Bible]. Please save many souls; and may all be glory be yours alone. I pray this in the name of our Redeemer, The Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

MISSION STATEMENT:
Our aim, with God’s help, is to be Christlike in all that we think, do and say. We desire to fulfill the Great Commission by taking the GOOD NEWS of Salvation by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ [The Messiah] to every creature, and to make disciples and baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
Published Titles written by Spurgeon are included each day in DailySpurgeon.com
Devotions are:
· C.H. Spurgeon Prayers
· Spurgeon’s Illustrative Anecdotes
· Faith’s Checkbook
· Morning & Evening
These titles are from the inspired body of work created from the preaching and writing of Charles Haddon Spurgeon 1834-1892. He created an unexcelled legacy of gospel preaching and exposition and is known as the “Prince of Preachers”. Spurgeon has been and is today widely read with great benefit from the 1800’s to this present time. He is the beloved founder of the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, England (Thriving TODAY through the faithful preaching of the Gospel and the Sacred Worship of Jesus the Christ [Messiah].)
[Click this link to live-stream current gospel preaching in real time each Sunday from London by Dr. Peter Masters, Metropolitan Tabernacle pastor since 1970.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, please be blessed by the winning of many souls, and give us love and compassion toward all who are in need, especially those in the household of faith. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and for His sake, Amen.
Disclaimer: The John Mark Publishing Company does not praise or exalt Charles H. Spurgeon beyond the honor due him. He didn’t need or want it when he was here on earth and has no need for it now, in Heaven. Our aim is to lift up and glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and to preach HIM and Him crucified.
Precaution: These Devotional Messages and prayers alone can not substitute for continual fellowship with the Lord Jesus. Neither do they replace personal reading, meditation, prayer and fasting over God's divinely preserved and eternal Word. (The King James version (KJV), also known also as the Authorized Version (AKJV), is the preferred English Bible because its accuracy and fidelity to the Greek Textus Receptus [received text] and the Hebrew Masoretic Text) avoid doctrinal and editorial weakness found in many contemporary editions.
Written Prayers by Spurgeon must not be offered as a substitute for personal, intimate fervent, heart-felt, prayer. They are rather intended to warm the hearts of those who are seeking a season of authentic two-way, heart-to-heart fellowship and prayer with the Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit.

TODAY’S SERMON:
What is Your Life? James 4:14 with Dr. Peter Masters, Pastor
The great question posed and answered by James, half-brother of the Lord Jesus Christ, illustrates life as a vapour, so brief, inconsequential, unstable, and insubstantial, with other deficiencies here unfolded. But the opposite characteristics fill our lives when we come to Christ.

The Authorized King James Bible
URL: https://www.biblegateway.com/versions/King-James-Version-KJV-Bible/
The above link is to search for specific words or Scriptures in the King James inerrant and infallible English Version (KJV) because it is providentially protected and preserved by GOD Himself through the only translation into English by faithful brethren from the 5,312 established majority text manuscripts MT from which the New Testament Greek Textus Receptus [received text] was taken and the Hebrew Masoretic Text of the Old Testament (Jewish Tanakh). These manuscripts are providentially protected, and frequently give greater glory to God when compared to variant readings of all modern translations from Modern Critical Texts based on only 55 hand picked inferior Greek manuscripts fabricated from either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. Both of these Greek textual sources follow an assumption that OLDER IS BETTER. Of course, this assumption is not valid if the older manuscripts contain error.
The established majority manuscripts and the Textus Receptus avoid doctrinal error, and inaccuracies in translation, uninspired editorial notations, variant or ambiguous readings which taken from Codices Vaticanus, or Sinaiticus.
Copyright: The King James Version is distinguished by the requirement of Great Brittan that all King James bibles be printed by the Cambridge University Press, the Crown’s authorized printer. No one other than the Crown’s printer, is allowed print, copy or import the King James Bible into Great Brittan by order of the Crown.
In the United States there is no Copyright protection and the KJV is deemed Public Domain. If a new publication changes at least a 10% of an existing publication a lucrative Copyright can be granted. Therefore the NKJV and many other copyrighted translations. Only the King James Version New Testament is unique from among the over 100 English translations that follow modern textual criticism and only the King James is translated from the superior Greek Textus Receptus as its Primary time tested and self-authenticating Greek text Source.

HOLY WORDS that were given by God through the Holy Ghost, word by word, to His Holy Prophets and Apostles comprise all eternal Holy Scripture. (Matthew 5:18)

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on a defective text. Those who want to honor the Word of God must not promote the use of any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved, without error unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it would be to Him if His people now chose instead to use versions that are based on defective Greek manuscript created by Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Aland.
Let the biblical story of Nadab and Abihu be a lesson for us all:
And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace. And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp. So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said. And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled” (Lev 10:1–6).
