Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everything you hear] but be testing the spirit whether it is of God: because many false prophets have come out in the world. You are invited to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord and to publicly acknowledge Him as such, so He will be able to acknowledge you to His Father; The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. You are also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and said to him.
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And Jesus said to him,
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
The act of Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and by extension the believer’s death to self, atonement, and new, born-again life.
Baptism bears witness to the preaching of John the Baptist. He preached the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and exhorted Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but is to be followed to fulfil all righteousness.
We now desire to Worship Him in Spirit and in truth through prayer, Bible readings, scriptural meditation, gospel preaching, singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs.
To this purpose, DailySpurgeon, is offered.

Is dailyspurgeon.com trustworthy?
Is it true? Is it of God?
We apply this Scripture to discern whether what we hear is of God and therefore true or not.
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [voice] you hear but be testing the spirits [voices] whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit [voice] of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come from God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit [voice] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore, we should [must] test every voice [spirit] whether it is from God, bonified and trustworthy to be believed only if it confesses [states] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, in the flesh having come from God .”
Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Alland did not use the Textus Receptus, that was rendered from the 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts, known as the Majority Text.
Instead,they used their own Greek translations that they created using only 55 Greek manuscripts selected out of the 5,321 Majority Texts.
Their Greek translation is faulty. Translations other than King James overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is translated in virtually all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] therefore they fail to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (When it’s ranslated aright from the Received Text (TR) in the King James Version only)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm substantial majorityagreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from this overwhelming body of agreement from Majority Text of primary manuscript sources.
Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland have omitted the verb “is”, from the Greek text. This error may be described as res ipsa loquitur meaning the thing speaks for itself.
Therefore, the alternate Greek fabrications generated by these two sources are not actually translations at all but their own creations.
How do we know?
Because non-believers and false prophets can indeed, and often do, affirm that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by virtually all respected historians to be the most well documented fact in history. That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” falls woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”. Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is not surprising nor is it, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. However, this fails to present a Rubric necessary to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid hypothesis, proffered and inferred in the contextfor scriptural discernment. The failure here to establish a logical and rhetorically sound rubric to judge the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets and the spirit of antichrist is absent.
Namely, it does not provide a sound hypothesis to discern whether a spirit [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Virtually anyone [or any spirit] may avow that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you can see, this does not resolve the issue of whether something should or should not be believed or followed. Why? Once again, because virtually anyone and everyone can and often do confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. This leaves absent a valid and efficacious hypothesis to discern the truth.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore is a failed attempt to represent itself as efficacious for true spiritual discernment as outlined in 1 John Chapter 4: 1-3.
Further, as we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.

He was born of a virgin 2024 years ago and He lives today.

When a believer considers the fact that they are members of the body of Christ [The Church] , they should acknowledge and readily confess that…
“Jesus Christ is here, from God, in the flesh,” because We are the Body of Christ; The Church, in the flesh! Amen.

There were 1,300 editions printed before 1938, 250 years after the Bunyan’s death. Hence, the world’s most famous Allegory.

Spurgeon: Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [happy melodies] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart [main castle] he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, Oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh! that the Christian Church in England [and America] might begin to take upon itself its true burden. Let the Church in London especially [and all large cities], with their masses of poverty and sin round about it, care for the people and love the people; and may all Christians bestir themselves [get busy] that something may be done for the good of men, and for the glory of God.
Lord, do use us for Thy glory. Shine upon us, O Emmanuel, that we may reflect Thy brightness; dwell in us, O Jesus, that out of us may come the power of Thy life.

If God so willed it we could live without bread, even as Jesus did for forty days; but we could not live without His Word.
By that Word we were created, and by it alone can we be kept in being, for he sustaineth [sustains, keeps alive] all things by the Word of His power. Bread is a second cause [is secondary]; the Lord Himself is the first source of our sustenance. He can work without the second cause [bread] as well as with it; and we must not tie Him down to one mode of operation. Let us not be too eager after the visible [that which can be seen] , but let us look to the invisible God. We have heard believers say that in deep poverty, when bread ran short, their appetites became short too;
and to others,when common supplies failed, the Lord has sent in unexpected help.
But we must have the Word of the Lord. With this alone we can withstand the devil. Take this from us, and our enemy will have us in his power, for we shall soon faint. Our souls need food, and there is none for them outside of the Word of the Lord.
All the books and all the preachers in the world cannot furnish us a single meal: it is only the Word from the mouth of God that can fill the mouth of a believer.
Lord, evermore give us this bread. We prize it above royal dainties. [food fit for a King]
Prayer: Thank You Father, for Your infinite, immutable. inerrant, infallible and all-powerful Word. breathed out to us and providentially preserved and protected by Thee. Thank You that Your Word completely satisfies and keeps. Help me to always look to Your Word knowing that I do not live by physical food alone but by every word that comes from Your mouth. SANCTIFICATION begins in regeneration. The Spirit of God infuses [puts] into man that new living principle by which he becomes "a new creature" in Christ Jesus. This work which begins in the new birth is carried on in two ways:
(1) mortification [death] whereby the lusts of the flesh are subdued [put to death] and kept under control.
(2) vivification [eternal life] by which the life which God has put within us is made to be a well of water springing up to everlasting life.
This is carried on every day in what is called "perseverance," by which the Christian is preserved [protected] and continued in a gracious state [reflecting God’s grace], and is made to abound in good works to the praise and glory of God; and it culminates or comes to perfection in "glory" [heaven] when the soul, being thoroughly purged, [cleansed] is caught up [miraculously transported] to dwell with holy beings at the right hand of the Majesty [God] on high. But while the Spirit of God is thus the author of sanctification [holiness], yet there is a visible agency employed which must not be forgotten.
"Sanctify them," said Jesus, "through thy truth: thy word is truth."
The passages of Scripture that prove that the instrument of our sanctification is the Word of God are very many. The Spirit of God brings to our minds the precepts [principles] and doctrines [teachings] of truth and applies them with power. These are heard in the ear, and being received in the heart, they work in us to will and to do of God's good pleasure.
The truth is the sanctifier, and if we do not hear or read the truth we shall not grow in sanctification. We only progress in sound living as we progress in sound understanding.
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path."
Do not say of any error, "It is a mere matter of opinion."
No man indulges an error of judgment, without sooner or later tolerating an error in practice.
Hold fast [tightly] the truth, for by so holding the truth will you be sanctified by the Spirit of God.

OUTWARD practical holiness is a very precious mark of grace. I fear that many have perverted the doctrine of justification by faith [in Jesus Christ] in such a way as to treat good works with contempt; if so, they will receive everlasting contempt at the last great day.
If our hands are not clean, let us wash them in Jesus' precious blood, and so let us lift up pure hands to God.
But "clean hands" will not suffice, unless they are connected with "a pure heart."
True religion [faith] is heart-work. We may wash the outside of the cup and the platter as long as we please, but if the inward parts be filthy, we are filthy altogether in the sight of God, for our hearts are more truly ourselves than our hands are; the very life of our being lies in the inner nature, and hence the imperative need of purity within.
The pure in heart shall see God, all others are but blind bats.
The man who is born for heaven "hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity." All men have their joys by which their souls are lifted up;
the worldling [“carnal man”] lifts up his soul in carnal delights which are mere empty vanities; but
the saint loves more substantial things.
Like Jehoshaphat, he is lifted up in the ways of the Lord.
He who is content with husks [pig slop] will be reckoned [counted] with the swine.
Does the world satisfy you? Then you have your reward and portion in this life; make much of it, for you will know no other joy.
"Nor sworn deceitfully. " The saints are men of honor still. The Christian man's word is his only oath; but that is as good as twenty oaths of other men.
False speaking will shut any man out of heaven, for a liar will not enter into God's house, whatever may be his professions or doings.
Reader, does the text before us condemn you, or do you hope to ascend to the hill of the Lord [ZION] ?

, affirming his own life’s conclusion and giving testimony of God’s goodness to him and his agreement and surrender to his earthly departure to be eternally present with the Lord Jesus.

In defense of the Textus Receptus
John 3:16 God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten [divinely fathered] Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but may be having eternal life.
vis. Textus Receptus [The Received Greek Text] (From the overwhelming majority of extant New Testament Greek manuscripts)
The Incomplete and unsealed codices of Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are not majority texts, [Original Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus]. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus present variant, ambiguous and erroneous readings rather than that of the well-established and settled texts. They disagree often with one another as well as with the settled majority texts. Thus, an attempt to create a pretext that will continue to justify a never-ending demand for additional editions and interpretations. These unsettled differences and bias in certain sectarian doctrine [dogma] have led to the production of multiple “modern” editions with ambiguities, many variant readings and confusion from the explosion of unending, new editions.
Profit-driven publishers have embraced such an economic windfall to sell a continual flow of “new and better” English edition of The Bible. They give too little attention to the fidelity and accuracy already settled [in heaven] in majority manuscripts of the Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus.

89 Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations:
thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. [abides]
God, Himself, providentially protects and preserves His Word. His Word is the God-breathed, self-authenticating, immutable [unchanging and unchangeable], eternal, inerrant, infallible, infinite and all-powerful Word, settled in heaven. He is not the author of confusion.

A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER WILL: [For One and all]

Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am hopeless. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross for my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity condemned to Hell. I have been self-centered from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m guilty and sorry for each and every sin I have done and look to You to forgive me of them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.

The above link is to search for specific words or Scriptures in the King James inerrant and infallible English Version (KJV) because it is providentially protected and preserved by GOD Himself through the only translation into English by faithful brethren from the 5,312 established majority text manuscripts MT from which the New Testament Greek Textus Receptus [received text] was taken and the Hebrew Masoretic Text of the Old Testament (Jewish Tanakh). These manuscripts are providentially protected, and frequently give greater glory to God when compared to variant readings of all modern translations from Modern Critical Texts based on only 55 hand picked inferior Greek manuscripts fabricated from either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. Both of these Greek textual sources follow an assumption that OLDER IS BETTER. Of course, this assumption is not valid if the older manuscripts contain error.

In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:

The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,
thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on a defective text. Those who want to honor the Word of God must not promote the use of any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved, without error unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it would be to Him if His people now chose instead to use versions that are based on defective Greek manuscript created by Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Aland.
