All Bible versions NOT translated from the Textus Receptus [The (traditional) Received Greek Text] include variant readings that diminish the full glory and the most Holy reverence due to Almighty GOD, that He preserves and protects it immutably in the 1769 Edition of the 1611 King James Version KJV Bible. This version is also known as the Authorized King James Version AKJV and the Authorized Version AV. ALL GLORY is due to and must be given to the Omnipotent Lord of ALL.
The Geneva Bible was also faithfully translated from the Greek Textus Receptus and included comments favorable to the Protestant Reformation from inspired, devoted, faithful Christian men of GOD; They were Puritan Believers known to be beyond reproach.
This Bible was first brought to Plymouth Massachusetts in the American Colonies by the Puritan Pilgrims guided by Captain Christopher Jones’s on the Mayflower sailing ship in 1620. A 1592 Edition of the Geneva Bible that belonging to a Mayflower passenger and the Governor of the Plymouth Colony (Later to become the State of Massachusetts) by William Bradford and is on display at the Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the oldest continuously operating public museum in the United States.
The traditional Textus Receptus [Received Greek Text] unlike any other Greek Text was taken from more than 5,321 original Majority Greek Manuscripts MT that agree 98% with one another. Other variant readings are translations invented by either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. These fabricated Greek Texts were translated from only a handful [45] of Majority Text Manuscripts MT and lack the trustworthiness of the inspired 1769 [1611] King James Version, KJV or the Geneva Bible and are the only two translations of the traditional, reliable, inspired, [GOD BREATHED] immutable and providentially and divinely protected Textus Receptus.

The Bridge to Babylon video presents evidence that tracks the explosion of more than 100 new versions of English translations of the Bible. The continuing attempts to replace, add or take away from the 1769 King James Version of the Holy Bible does not prevail because GOD Himself preserves and protects The inspired, inerrant, immutable and infallible Holy Word of GOD from all heresy, blasphemy, confusion , errors, additions, subtractions or changes.

*A.D. does NOT mean “After Death” as many mistakenly believe. It is Latin for Anno Domini, a phrase adopted into English usage that means “Year of [the/our] Lord”. The complete original phrase "anno Domini nostri Jesu Christi" means "in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ”. A.D. and together with B.C. Before Christ is used to divide all history before and after the birth of Jesus the Christ [Messiah]. ...More

Can DAILYSPURGEON be trusted? Is it trustworthy?
Is it of God?
YES, it can! Yes, it is! Here’s why.
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everyone or !everything] you hear but be testing the spirit [voice] whether it is of God: because many false prophets have gone [come] out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses [avows] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come[who came] out of God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not [doesn’t audibly avow] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
I therefore must and do audibly confess, that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh.
[All translations of the Bible that use a Greek text other than the traditional and faithful Textus Receptus ignore the Greek word “ictin” [the Greek word that means “is” in English]. This omission causes the meaning of “is here” to be changed from “is” come” [is here] to “has” come”.
This error is self-evident because non-believers, false prophets, atheists or heretics can, and frequently do, affirm that Jesus Christ “has come” [in the flesh].
While this is a true statement, when taken at face value, the meaning “has come” is clearly not the same as “is here”; which is the valid, scriptural test of discernment to know if words are from the Spirit of God or the spirit of antichrist.
The most well documented fact in all of human history is that the Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah] “has” come in the flesh. However, the question of much greater importance, is not whether the spirit [a spoken or written word] being considered and tested confesses that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh but, whether the confession being made affirms that Jesus Christ, “is come” [is here], from God, in the flesh.
30 for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I [The Apostle Paul] speak concerning Christ and the church. [The body of CHRIST]
_____________________________________________________________
“I speak concerning Christ and the church.” [the fleshly embodiment, here and now , of the body of Christ]. Because followers of Jesus Christ are members of the incarnate Body of Christ [The Church] I affirm and avow that Jesus Christ is here
[Not “Has come”] in the flesh.

DEVOTION for November 19th *A,D, 2025. Written and calendared for this date by Charles Haddon Spurgeon 1834-1892.
*A.D. does NOT mean “After Death”. It actually abbreviates Anno Domini;
Latin words adopted into English that literally translate:
“Year of our Lord”. The Lord Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh,
was born of a virgin 2025 years ago.
He’s alive today, has always existed as God’s eternal and everlasting Word,
and will soon return for his bride, the Church
[The body of all redeemed believers in Jesus Christ].
1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, [unbelievers]
believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Please join us in worship of the Lord Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth; through prayer, reading, meditation and obedience to God’s word, hearing and edification of gospel preaching and teaching and the singing of sacred music; all to support active discipleship, (learning and teaching others) to evangelize the good news and follow the Lord Jesus.
DailySpurgeon is not intended, nor were it possible to replace Face-to-face fellowship with other believers at scheduled times of corporate worship, prayer meetings, Bible study and fellowship. Rather, it is a resource for personal daily prayer, meditation, personal praise and worship, reflection and devotional thought supporting active discipleship conforming us to the likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ, our redeemer.
DailySpurgeon is a collection of daily selections from Charles Haddon Spurgeon’s published work (1834-1892) from his faithful gospel preaching and devotional teaching ministry that continues to expand today; additionally, a link to a daily video sermon by Dr. Peter Masters from The Metropolitan Tabernacle in London (founded by Spurgeon); and, sacred music and hymns that have been loved and sung in worship services of Christian congregations for hundreds of years.
The purpose of DailySpurgeon is to encourage personal and small group study and worship. It is e-mailed daily. It’s also offered online at dailyspurgeon.com for your use and for SHARING with others.

Stand for the Truth, Won’t you?
Jesus Christ [Messiah] the LORD GOD was born of a virgin 2024 years ago, is now here in the flesh from GOD through His body and bride, the church and lives forevermore, time without end and He’s coming again, soon.

A SINNER’S PRAYER November 19th
PRAYER 16, Part 3 of 8 November 19th HE EVER LIVETH.
[Dear Father] Our first prayer shall be for those who do not pray. There is an ancient promise of Thine [Yours], “I am found of them that sought Me not; I said, Behold Me, behold Me, to a people that were not a people.” Prove the sovereignty of Thy [Your] grace, the priority of Thy [Your] power, which runs before [precedes and brings] the will of man, by making many willing in this, the day of Thy [Your] power, and calling the things that are not as though they were.
May the day come in which they that are in their graves [alive physically but dead spiritually] shall hear the voice of God, and they that hear shall live [be made alive].
[In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.]

ANECDOTE 109: November 19th GLOOMY DAYS [are] OUR OWN FAULT.
We have a deep river of delights in the covenant [God’s divine promise] of grace, yet we are content to paddle about its shores. We are only up to our ankles, the most of us, whereas the waters are “waters to swim in.”
A great sun of everlasting love shines upon the globe of our life with tropical force, but we get away to the North Pole of doubt and fear, and then complain that the sun has such little heat, or that he [the sun] is so long below the horizon.[the day is so short]
He who will not go to the fire ought not to complain that the room is cold.
FAITH’S CHECKBOOK November 19th C.H. FROM OBEDIENCE TO BLESSING
-From this day will I bless you- Haggai 2:19
-Desde aqueste dia dare bendición- Hageo 2:19
Future things are hidden from us. Yet here is a glass [window] in which we may see the unborn years. The Lord says, -From this day will I bless you-. It is worth while to note the day which is referred to in this promise.
There had been failure of crops, blasting [draught], and mildew, and all because of the people’s sin. Now, the Lord saw these chastened [disciplined] ones commencing [starting] to obey His word, and build His temple, and therefore He says, -From the day that the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid, consider. From this day will I bless you.- If we have lived in any sin, and the Spirit leads us to purge [rid] ourselves of it, we may reckon [rely] upon the blessing of the Lord.
His smile, His Spirit, His grace, His fuller revelation of His truth will all prove to us an enlarged blessing.
We may fall into greater Opposition from man [the world] because of our faithfulness, but we shall rise to closer dealings with the Lord our God, and a clearer sight of our acceptance in Him. Lord, I am resolved to be more true to thee, and more exact in my following of thy doctrine and thy precept [Your teaching and principles]; and I pray thee, [ask you] therefore, by Christ Jesus, to increase the blessedness of my daily life henceforth and for ever [from now on and forever more].
Prayer: Thank You Lord for the blessing you give us from the day we begin to obey Your word in laying the foundation of Your temple, confessing our sins and considering ourselves to be dead to them by the power of the Holy Spirit. I receive this promise in the name of Your son, the Lord Jesus and rely on the Holy Spirit to empower faithfulness and obedience in me. Amen.

vis. The Textus Receptus TR [Received Text] is the faithfully rendered Greek text with an overwhelming agreement in and among the majority of the 5,321 extant New Testament, Greek manuscripts known as the MT. [Majority Text]. The Old Testament Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts were meticulously copied by hand [manuscript] by the Masoretic scribes. These are the manuscripts from which the Original King James version was translated onto English.
In order for Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland to create the Modern Greek to shore up the highly nuanced Critical Text theory, only Fifty-five manuscripts from the 5,321 Majority Text MT were hand-picked and they were not from the Textus Receptus but were selected from the inferior Sinaiticus and Vaticanus codices. These fifty-five manuscripts brought variant readings and were created, ostensibly, to justify the creation of an alternative Greek text to the Textus Receptus which had been under spurious attack by Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland for many years.
The Codices known as Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are inferior because they often are in disagreement with the Textus Receptus and incredibly, with one another. They give rise to variant readings and embrace secular doctrine bias not supported by scripture translated from the Majority Text or Textus Receptus. They have been infused by invented Greek text where an absence of Greek text from the Fifty-five hand-picked manuscripts was found.
They invented but did not disclose themselves as the source of the new Greek translation. They supplied this new Greek translation to all Committee members with the aim to revise the King James Bible. However, They insisted on a code of silence as to the authorship of the Greek Text from which all the Revisions were to be based. All members of the committee were required to agree to this code.
Modern textual criticism is based on the assumption that older manuscripts are, de-facto, more accurate. Actually, the continuous and unsettled changes from their variant readings reflect doctrinal ambiguities and biases not supported by the Majority Text.
Scripture based on The Greek text of Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland of a secular or denominational tradition allow modern textual criticism to rob God of His Sovereignty, Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Immutability, Inerrancy and Infallibility and to diminish Glory from His infinite and everlasting “I AM” that deserves and demands ALL of the GLORY.
MORNING November 19th "AVOID FOOLISH QUESTIONS. "Titus 3:9
—Las cuestiones necias evita— Tito 3:9
OUR days are few, and are far better spent in doing good, than in disputing over matters which are, at best, of minor importance. The old schoolmen did a world of mischief by their incessant discussion of subjects of no practical importance; and our Churches suffer much from petty wars over abstruse points and unimportant questions. After everything has been said that can be said, neither party is any the wiser, and therefore the discussion no more promotes knowledge than love, and it is foolish to sow [plant seed] in so barren a field. Questions on points wherein Scripture is silent, on mysteries which belong to God alone, on prophecies of doubtful interpretation, and on mere modes [customs and traditions] of observing human ceremonials are all foolish, and wise men avoid them. Our business is neither to ask nor answer foolish questions, but to avoid them altogether; and if we observe the apostle's precept (Titus 3:8) to be careful to maintain good works, we shall find ourselves far too much occupied with profitable business to take much interest in unworthy, contentious, and needless strivings.
There are, however, some questions which are the reverse of foolish, that we must not avoid, but fairly and honestly meet, such as these:
-
Do I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ?
-
Am I renewed in the spirit of my mind?
-
Am I walking not after the flesh, but after the Spirit?
-
Am I growing in grace?
-
Does my conversation adorn the doctrine of God my Savior?
-
Am I looking for the coming of the Lord, and watching as one who expects his master?
-
What more can I do for Jesus?
Such enquiries as these urgently demand our attention, and if we have been at all given to caviling [inconsequential quibbling], let us now turn our critical abilities to a service so much more profitable. Let us be peacemakers and endeavor to lead others, both by our precept [moral injunction, teaching] and example, to
"avoid foolish questions."
EVENING November 19th
"0 that I knew where I might find Him,"— Job 23:3
—Quién me diera el saber dónde hallar á Dios— Job 23:3
IN Job's uttermost extremity [worse despair] he cried after the Lord. The longing desire of an afflicted child of God is once more to see [to again see] his Father's face.
His first prayer is not "0 that I might be healed of the disease which now festers in every part of my body," nor even "0h that I might see my children restored from the jaws of the grave, and my property once more brought from the hand of the spoiler!"
But the first and uppermost cry is,
"0h that I knew where I might find Him, who is my God! that I might come even to His seat!"
God's children run home when the storm comes on.
It is the heaven-born instinct of a gracious soul to seek shelter from all ills [troubles] beneath the wings of Jehovah. "He that hath made God, his refuge" [safe place] might serve as the title of a true believer.
A hypocrite, when afflicted by God, resents the infliction and, like a slave, would run from the Master who has scourged him. But not so the true heir of heaven; he kisses the hand which smote him and seeks shelter from the rod [whipping stick] in the bosom of the God who frowned upon Him.
Job's desire to commune with God was intensified by the failure of all other sources of consolation.
The patriarch [Job] turned away from his sorry friends and looked up to the celestial throne, just as a traveler turns from his empty skin bottle [canteen] and with all speed goes to the well.
He bids farewell to earthborn hopes, and cries, "0 that I knew where I might find my God!" Nothing teaches us so much [about] the preciousness of the Creator, as when we learn the emptiness of all besides [everything else].
Turning away with bitter scorn from earth's hives [of bees] where we find no honey but many sharp stings, we rejoice in Him whose faithful word is sweeter than honey or the honeycomb. In every trouble we should first seek to realize God's presence with us.
Only let us enjoy His smile, and we can bear our daily cross with a willing heart

A SINNER’S PRAYER
Whosoever shall call on the name of the lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Pray and call on the name of the Lord Jesus, like this. Won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner. I’m lost and hopeless to save myself. Without your death on the cross I would spend eternity in Hell’s fire.
Thank you Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was born and that You have always loved me and will never reject or turn your back on me. I know You are the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one can come to the Father but by You.
Thank you, Father that You have caused for me to see myself as I am; a lost sinner. But, because of Your love and goodness, You have made a way and given me the desire to come to You, to turn away from my sin and to trust in You, Lord Jesus. You took my place on the cross and provided the way for me to be forgiven. Thank You.
Thank You that You prompted a desire in me to believe in You, the only begotten Son of God who died on the cross to be the sacrifice that would atone for my sins.
Thank You, Father for Your love that allowed Jesus to suffer and die in my place. Thank You that You raised Jesus from the dead. He is RISEN and is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave and in Christ Jesus I am free.
You raised Jesus from the dead, gave Him a Glorified body and after he was seen by many witnesses on earth You took Him up to reign with You in heaven.
Thank you, Father, for saving me in the name, of Your only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Romans 6:11
Thank you, Holy Spirit, that you always give witness to and exalt the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 16:8-11
With all my heart, thank you Lord for saving me.
Live Your life in me, Lord Jesus, in Your name I pray, Amen.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our solemn aim is to trust and obey the Lord Jesus in everything. This relies completely upon God to achieve His purpose for us through His means. We purpose, with God’s empowerment and help, to save the lost, comfort, strengthen and encourage believers, and rightly divide God’s Word to proclaim the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ to every creature.
The Holy Bible is God’s eternal, inerrant, infallible, immutable revealed and divinely preserved Word. It is His supernatural, complete scripture of all revealed truth. He brings guidance through it to us personally and to each local body of Christian believers. With God’s empowerment, we will read, study, meditate-on, trust-in and obey God’s Holy Bible and encourage others to do the same. We hold it to be the supreme authority and the preeminent and divinely established Stare Decisis [Latin: to stand by that which is decided, the legal principle of precedence, literally "to stand by decided matters"] in all things.
Therefore, the purpose of The John Mark Publishing Company is to publish the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature. And, to serve all, in love, especially those in the household of faith. This purpose compels us to follow, and rightly present, God’s Holy Word, the Bible as God’s divinely preserved truth; the foundation of this ministry.
Tabernacle History:
The inspired preaching, teaching, soul winning and writings of Charles Haddon Spurgeon were solely based, empowered and inspired by God’s Holy Word the Bible. His written sermons and devotional content continue to benefit today’s readers with authentic Gospel preaching and sound biblical teaching. His ministry continues to flourish from the original (Spurgeon’s) Metropolitan Tabernacle, a church fellowship began in 1650 with the present building constructed by members of the congregation in 1861 and rebuilt after the second world war..
Spurgeon's written materials are for the edification of the church body as well as a great benefit, blessing and challenge to all readers. Our desire is that the written Word of God will become the Living Word in each and every reader. To this end, a calendar is indexed (top, right) on the Home page of DailySpurgeon.com for daily study, meditation and prayer. An unabridged and strictly maintained fidelity to Spurgeon’s original calendar and unabridged text is carefully guarded.

O The Blood Of Jesus by Bill Gaither
WELCOME:
You are invited to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord and then to worship Him in Spirit and in truth; through prayer, reading, meditating on and obeying gospel preaching of God’s Word, and singing sacred hymns and spiritual songs to His glory.
To this end, let me encourage you to by this website.
It’s not intended to replace the gathering with other believers to worship, hear face-to-face Gospel preaching, enjoy fellowship, and join together in prayer, study of God’s Word in the presence and fellowship in the Lord Jesus.
Rather, it is a resource to develop greater discipleship in individual devotion, praise and worship and to be built-up and strengthen in the Lord through His Word.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [analyzing and sharing] the word of truth.”

In loving memory of Jon Edward Riley (1971-2021) who would sometimes just bust-out singing the following songs; sometimes, on the way to church sometimes just singing along with the Elvis Gospel CD that was always kept in the truck’s CD player or, even better, a song the Lord would spontaneously put in his joyful and loving heart.

…Jon always said “Later”; [see-ya-later] instead of “good bye”. It was his standard greeting to bid farewell … He would never say “good-bye”. Now, as we remember the sound of him saying “Later”, it rings very true as to its new and deeper meaning and it brings a joyfulness and comfort to the hearts of those he loved so well; those who love him still and will forever more.

What Can You Trust Titus 1:2 with Dr. Peter Masters
Life is a search for dependable things in an unreliable world. Apart from wilful lies there are countless mistaken ideas, half-truths, empty promises, excuses and exaggerations, not to mention gossip and slander. Here the truthfulness of God is presented and His solid promises to all who come to Him.

SACRED LITERATURE: November 19th
THE PILGRIM’S PROGRESS by John Bunyan
ORIGINAL: The Pilgrim’s Progress Pub. by Logos in 1853 from the 1678 Original
REVISED: by Barry E. Horner: The Pilgrim’s Progrefs [sic] ©1999
The Pilgrim Progress is the world’s most widely published and most famous Allegory, It was commonly found among he scant possessions in the cabins of the early American Pioneers. It was loved and read, second only to the Holy Bible, God’s Word, of guidance, encouragement and comfort. It’s also considered, by some, to be the world’s first English novel and is the most published book of all time. other than the Bible. There were 1,300 editions printed before 1938, 250 years after the author's death. It remains among the world’s most famous literature.
Excerpt from Spurgeon Sermon ― CHRIST IN YOU
"Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me [Spurgeon] of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melodies] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart [main castle] he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus; it is our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.
Spurgeon Sermon: November 19th Christ in You, May 13, 1883 Scripture: Colossians 1:27 From: Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit, Volume 29 (cit. II. THE SWEETNESS OF THIS MYSTERY, WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, § 5)

DAILY SPURGEON & DEVOTION for November 19th *A.D. 2024 Written and calendared for this exact date by Charles Haddon Spurgeon 1834-1892.
*A.D. Does NOT mean after death as is commonly believed. It is a Latin abbreviation
for anno Domani (It means “Year of our Lord” in English)
Stand for the Truth, Won’t you?
Jesus Christ [Messiah] the LORD GOD was born of a virgin 2024 years ago, is now here in the flesh from GOD through His body and bride, the church and lives forevermore, time without end and He’s coming again, soon.
PRAYER 16, Part 3 of 8: November 19th HE EVER LIVETH.
ANECDOTE 109: November 19th GLOOMY DAYS OUR OWN FAULT.
FAITH’S CHECKBOOK: November 19th FROM OBEDIENCE TO BLESSING
-From this day will I bless you- Haggai 2:19
MORNING: November 19th "Avoid foolish questions. "—Titus 3:9
EVENING November 19th
"0 that I knew where I might find Him,"— Job 23:3
Attachment: PRAYER 16.doc

Only let us enjoy His smile, and we can bear our daily cross with a willing heart
for His dear sake.

MISSION STATEMENT:
Our aim is to encourage God’s purpose in one another, to save souls, strengthen and encourage believers in the Word, and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible is God’s revealed Word and that through His Word He guides us as individuals and as a local body of believers. We are resolved, God helping us, to study, meditate and pray to rightly divide God’s revealed and preserved Word holding it as the final authority in all things.
The purpose of The John Mark Publishing Company is to make known the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ to everyone. We desire to show the love of Jesus to all, especially those in need and those in the household of faith. The Bible is God’s everlasting, inspired, (God breathed) inerrant, (error free) immutable (unchangeable), and infallible (incapable of being wrong) divinely protected and preserved message of salvation to the whole world. It is the essence of the ministry inspired here.
The inspirational source of preaching, teaching and writing by Charles Haddon Spurgeon is from this same essence. His writings continue to be much read and much used today in the support of Gospel preaching. Such ministry is still flourishing in London at the Metropolitan Tabernacle, the church constructed for the 6,000 member congregation in the 1800's. Our effort here is to increase the publication, circulation and use of Spurgeon's materials for the benefit of the church body as well as all other readers. To this end we have arranged a daily Table of Contents and have added brief annotations [shown in brackets] while maintaining a strict fidelity to Spurgeon’s original and unabridged text.
Published Titles from Spurgeon’s written work are used exclusively as the resource from which
selections are made for inclusion into the Devotion each day from Daily Spurgeon:
· C.H. Spurgeon Prayers
· Spurgeon’s Illustrative Anecdotes
· Faith’s Checkbook
· Morning & Evening
These titles of devotions are from the body of inspired work from the gospel preaching and devotional writings of Charles Haddon Spurgeon 1834-1892.
No servant of God has given a greater legacy of gospel exposition to the world in the English language. Spurgeon has been and is today widely read with great benefit from the 1800’s to this present time. He was the beloved venerable pastor of

The Printed Prayer Selection must not be read or offered as a substitute for personal, fervent, effectual, heart-felt, prayer. It is intended rather, to bless and warm the hearts of those who presently seek a season of fervent, authentic two-way, heart-to-heart fellowship and prayer with the Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit.

… and pray for souls to be saved.
The Lord … is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
Pray also that believers will rightly divide God’s inerrant eternal Word forever settled in heaven. Psalm 119:89
MISSION PURPOSE:
Our aim is to trust and obey the Lord Jesus Christ in everything. We rely wholly upon the Holy Spirit to impart God’s divine revelation to us from His Word, the Holy Bible. With God’s help, we will follow Jesus. We expect that lost souls will be saved, believers, comforted, strengthened and encouraged. To God be all the glory.
The Bible is God’s divinely inspired [God breathed] revealed, infinite, eternal, inerrant, infallible, immutable Word to all mankind. This divine, supernatural Word brings all revealed truth to the world. We purpose, therefore, to follow God’s Holy Word, Personal guidance and guidance to the local church comes by His Word.
Hence, we resolve, God helping us, to read, study, meditate-on, trust-in and obey God’s revealed and divinely preserved Word, holding it to be the supreme authority and the only divinely established Stare Decisis [Latin: to stand by that which is decided] in all things.
Therefore, the purpose of The John Mark Publishing Company is to publish and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature, ministering God’s love to all, especially those in the household of faith. The Bible is God’s everlasting, inspired, (God breathed) inerrant, infallible, unchangeable, divinely protected and preserved Word of love and salvation to the entire world. It is also the essential foundation of this ministry.
History: The inspired preaching, teaching and writing of Charles Haddon Spurgeon is all empowered by God’s revealed Word the Bible. His written publications continue to benefit readers through authentic Gospel preaching and sound biblical teaching. This ministry continues to flourish from (Spurgeon’s) Metropolitan Tabernacle, (Brief History) a church fellowship that was begun in 1650. The building was constructed by members of the congregation in 1861.
We present Spurgeon's printed materials for the edification of the church body as well as for the benefit, blessing and gospel challenge to all readers. Our desire is that the written Word of God will become the Living Word in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ to each and every reader.
Dailyspurgeon.com is offered to encourage and provide opportunity to hear Gospel preaching, and to engage in daily devotional meditation, Bible study and prayer. Careful adherence to Spurgeon’s calendar and original, unabridged text is given herein.

No servant of God has left a greater legacy of presenting the Gospel to the world in the English language. (Now translated into many other languages) Spurgeon is widely read with great benefit. He is a beloved pastor and founder of the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, England, still thriving TODAY. You’re invited to Live-stream worship services from London with Dr. Peter Masters, current pastor since 1960.
Prayer: Dear Lord, empower your ministry to win many souls, and serve those in need, especially those in the household of faith, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
Disclaimer: The John Mark Publishing Company does not solicit praise of Charles H. Spurgeon or his writing or preaching. He didn’t need or want it then and wouldn’t desire it now. Our aim is to lift up and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to preach HIM only and him crucified.
Precaution: These Messages and prayers will not substitute for continual fellowship with the Lord Jesus nor gathering for corporate worship. Neither do they replace personal reading, meditation, prayer and fasting over God's divinely preserved and eternal Word.
The Authorized King James version (AKJV), also known as the Authorized Version (AV), is the preferred English Bible because it is translated into English accurately and faithfully from the Greek Textus Receptus [received text] and the Hebrew Masoretic Text that bring the greatest glory to God and avoids doctrinal error, inaccuracies in translation, editorial changes or ambiguous readings found in other translations. It is distinguished further by the requirement of Great Brittan that all King James bibles be printed only by the Cambridge University Press, the Crown’s authorized printer. No other [person or publisher] may print, copy or import the King James Bible into Great Brittan by order of the Crown.
Printed Prayer: Printed prayers must not be read or offered as a substitute for personal, fervent, effectual, heart-felt, prayer. They are offered, rather, to warm the hearts of those who will presently seek a season of fervent, authentic two-way, heart-to-heart fellowship and prayer with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Authentic revelations from God during prayer are always consistent with His revealed Word, the Bible.
My Prayer: Dear Father, is that You would touch, lift up, encourage and teach all who faithfully minister your Word. Bless all who minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. May Your blessing and holy anointing fall fresh upon each dear reader and abide with each one who rightly divides and faithfully proclaims Your Word [The Bible]. Please save many souls; and may all be glory be yours alone. I pray this in the name of our Redeemer, The Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

We pray that you will NOW trust [believe in] the Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah] as your personal, and only Lord and savior, and worship Him in Spirit and truth.
The aim of this website is to encourage and support believers to have greater love and stronger devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. To this end, devotional support is offered through prayer, praise, and gospel preaching of God’s Word.
To the non-believer, is proclaimed The Good News that Jesus Saves and pray that they will trust in HIM and publicly confess their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to be born again.
Join in, won’t you? with family, friends and others to pray, hear and heed the gospel of Jesus, and to sing hymns and praises worshiping God in spirit and in truth to God’s glory. Ephesians 5:18-20
As fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, we encourage one another to:
• Pray with our heavenly Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; 1 Thessalonians 5:17
• Be obedient to the eternal, inspired, immutable, inerrant, infallible, revealed and protected Word of God, revealed through Jesus Christ, the living Word; 1 Peter 1:23
• Be [Be being] filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Ephesians 5:18-19
• Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together as the manner of some is;
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
- Jesus Christ Matthew 18:19-20
You are invited to worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through trust in and obedience to His only begotten Son, God’s Word made flesh, the Lord Jesus Christ, [the Messiah] the Lamb of God and to follow Him in proclaiming God’s Gospel of eternal life to every creature. John 3:16
To this end, Audio, Video, Praise and Printed resources are freely offered here in the name of Jesus Christ, [The Messiah].
The Audio content includes Sacred Music, The Pilgrim’s Progress and Gospel preaching of sermons, prayerfully selected, to present daily devotionals with the prayer that the lost will be saved; encouraged, challenged, built-up and that all who visit the website will grow in grace and be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.
-
Preaching is from The Metropolitan Tabernacle (London, U.K.) by Pastor, Dr. Peter Masters or invited guests including the narration of recorded Sermons preached by Charles Haddon Spurgeon who is still known as The Prince of Preachers.
