Lord, Thou hast [have] been full of truth and faithfulness to us throughout every step of our journey, and though Thou hast [have] not withheld the rod of the covenant from us, we are as grateful for that, this morning, as for the kisses of Thy lips. Blessed be Thy name forever and ever. But there are some who have never come to Thee; they are hearers, but hearers only; they have listened to gracious invitations thousands of times, but they have never accepted them. Say unto them,
“Thereto hast [so far have] thou gone, but no further shalt thou proceed in thy carelessness and trifling [pass-times]. Here shalt [shall] thou stay and turn unto Thy God.”
O Savior, Thou hast [have] all power in heaven and earth, therefore Thou canst [can] through the preaching of Thy Word influence the hearts of men.
Turn them, and they shall be turned.
Oh! do it this day. We would [want] now in our prayers come; as we came at first would we come again; we would renew our vows, we would again repeat our repentance and our faith, and then look at the brazen serpent and touch but the border of Thy garment.
We would [want to] begin again. O, Lord, help us to do it in sincerity and truth. And first we do confess that we are by nature lost and by practice ruined. We are altogether as an unclean thing, and
all our righteousness’s are as filthy rags.
We would lie at those dear pierced feet, bleeding at heart [heartbroken] because of sin, wounded, mangled, crushed by the fall and by our own transgression [sin].

ANECDOTE 324: Persistent Prayer.
“Oh !” say you, “I have been praying.” Yes, but a tree does not always drop its fruit at the first shake you give it. Shake it again, man ; give it another shake! And sometimes when the tree is loaded, and is pretty firm in the earth, you have to shake it to and fro, and at last you plant your feet, and get hold of it, and shake it with might and main [with all your might], till you strain every muscle and sinew to get the fruit down. And that is the way to pray. Shake the tree of life until the mercy drops into your lap. Christ loves for men to beg hard. You cannot be too importunate [insistent]. That which might be disagreeable to your fellow-creatures when you beg of them, will be agreeable to Christ. Oh! get ye to your chambers [room]; get ye to your chambers [room], ye that -have not found Christ! To your bed-sides, to your little closets, and “seek the Lord while he may be found ; call ye upon him while he is near!”
May the Spirit of God constrain you to pray. May he constrain you to continue in prayer. Jesus must hear you. The gate of heaven is open to the sturdy knocker [one who knocks firmly and persistently] that affirms he will not take a denial. ________________________________________

Rather an unusual text, but there may be souls in the world that may have faith enough to grasp it.
Barak, the man, though called to the war, had little stomach for the fight unless Deborah would go with him, and so the Lord determined to make it a woman’s war. By this means He rebuked the slackness of the man, and gained for Himself the more renown, and cast the more shame upon the enemies of His people.
The Lord can still use feeble instrumentalities. Why not me?
He may use persons who are not commonly called to great public engagements. Why not you?
The woman who slew the enemy of Israel was no Amazon, [giant woman] but a wife who tarried in her tent. She was no orator, but a woman who milked the cows and made butter.
May not the Lord use any one of us to accomplish His purpose? Somebody may come to the house today, even as Sisera came to Jael’s tent.
Be it ours, [Help us Lord] not to slay him, but to save him.
Let us receive him with great kindness, and then bring forth the blessed truth of salvation by the Lord Jesus, our great Substitute, and press home the command,
-Believe and live.-
Who knoweth [knows] but [that] some stouthearted sinner may be slain [and saved] by the gospel today?

THE entire person of Jesus is but as one gem [precious gemstone], and His life is all along [always] but [just] one impression of the [royal] seal. He is altogether complete; not only in His several parts, but as a gracious all-glorious whole.
His character is not a mass of fair colors mixed confusedly, nor a heap of precious stones laid carelessly one upon another; He is a picture of beauty and a breastplate of glory.
In Him, all the
"things of good repute"
are in their proper places, and assist in adorning each other.
Not one feature in His glorious person attracts attention at the expense of others; but he is perfectly and altogether lovely.
Oh, Jesus! Your power, Your grace, Your justice, Your tenderness, Your truth, Your majesty, and Your immutability [unchanging and unchangeable essence] make up such a man, or rather such a God-man, as neither heaven nor earth has seen elsewhere.
Your infancy, Your eternity, Your sufferings, Your triumphs, Your death, and Your immortality, are all woven in one gorgeous tapestry [artistic wall hanging], without seam or rent [rip].

THE foundation on which our faith rests is this, that
"God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them."
The great fact on which genuine faith relies is that "the Word was made flesh [a human man] and dwelt among us," and that
"Christ also hath [has] suffered for sin, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God,"
"Who Himself bare our sins in His own body on the tree [cross]," "For the chastisement [punishment] of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."
In one word, the great pillar of the Christian's hope is substitution.
The vicarious sacrifice of Christ for the guilty,
Christ being made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him,
Christ offering up a true and proper expiatory [power to atone for or offered by way of expiation or propitiation. “expiatory (or propitiatory) sacrifice”] and substitutionary sacrifice in the place and stead of as many as the Father gave Him, who are known to God by name, and are recognized in their own hearts by their trusting in Jesus—this is the cardinal [primary] fact of the gospel.
If this foundation were removed, what could we do?
But it stands firm as the throne of God. We know it; we rest on it; we rejoice in it; and our delight is to hold it, to meditate on it, and to proclaim it, while we desire to be actuated [motivated] and moved by gratitude for it in every part of our life and conversation.
In these days a direct attack is being made on the doctrine of the atonement.
Men can not bear substitution. They gnash their teeth at the thought of the Lamb of God bearing the sin of man. But we, who know by experience the preciousness of this truth, will proclaim it in defiance of them confidently and unceasingly.
We will neither dilute it nor change it, nor fritter it away in any shape or fashion.
It will still be Christ, a positive substitute, bearing human guilt and suffering in the stead of men. We cannot, dare not, give it up, for it is our life, and despite every controversy we feel [know] that

*A.D. did not and does NOT mean “After Death” as many erroneously now think. It actually abbreviates Anno Domini, a Latin phrase adopted into English that literally means “Year of our Lord”. It has been used together with B.C. Before Christ for centuries.
B.C.E is not a synonym for B.C. (Before Christ)] It is not the same thing. Not even close.
B.C.E. / C.E or B.C. /A.D. What’s the difference?
B.C.E. (BEFORE COMMON ERA [or BEFORE CURRENT ERA] ― Anything to avoid all reference or mention of anything CHRISTIAN by atheist and anti-Christians and to remove A.D. [Anno Domini] and B.C. [Before Christ] from being used.
This argument, claims to have a neutral point of view to remove the reference to Jesus Christ by omitting the use of A.D Ano Domini and B.C. Before Christ This argument brings forward a faulty and egregious hypothesis. Without consideration of a person’s religious views analysis of the hypothesis of a neutral point of view (NPOV) must be made.
What is A NEUTRAL point of view? Such a fool’s errand would argue that a point of view could set forth a valid, genuine, authentic and simultaneously be neutral. What? This defies logic. A neutral point of view, were it possible, is no point of view at all. Rather, it’s illogical and by applying simple common sense, impossible. Anytime a point of view is combined, confused or blended with another one so that the properties are clouded, weakened or confused the actual definite and certain POV is lost and any rational adherence or support for it is now moot. A Neutral point of view exists only in the imagination of those who prefer confusion to a true, authentic, genuine, robust and proven point of a verifiable fact.
A neutral point of view, were it possible, would be, at best, illogical, unattainable, indefensible and irresponsible. The king of oxymorons.
Therefore, the mere consideration of an imagined but impossible and unattainable neutral point of view (NPOV) is ludicrous. A point of view cannot be NEUTRAL. An authentic point of view cannot be neutral, or ambiguous, but must clearly advance a singular, definite and certain point of view (POV). It cannot be both a POV and neutral. A neutral point of view is a logical impossibility. A neutral (POV), were it possible, would ignore the historical fact of Jesus Christ’s birth. The pretense of seeking a neutral point of view is therefore misleading and disingenuous.
The Lord Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh,
was born of a virgin 2025 years ago.
He’s alive today, has always existed as God’s eternal and everlasting Word,
and will soon return for his bride, the Church
[The body of all redeemed believers in Jesus Christ].
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory.

You are invited to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord and to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Do it] now: for thus it becometh us [is beautifully fitting and expected of us] to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not a requirement for salvation but it is the willing desire of all believers to demonstrate agreement and consistency with the righteousness of preaching Repentance and Baptism as preached and practiced by John the Baptist is obedience to scriptural teaching. The issue of baptism is therefore not an issue of salvation but of obedience and the fulfilling of all righteousness.
Worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth will spring-up and be manifested in a sense of gratitude from all born again believers. Such trust and worship can come through prayer, Bible reading, scriptural meditation and study. Fellowship in a local church body, hearing gospel preaching and singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs are also acts of worship and reflects active discipleship.
To this purpose, DailySpurgeon, is offered as a reliable, dependable and effective resource.

Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everything you hear] but [continually] be testing the spirit whether it is of God: because many false prophets have come out in the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesseth [confesses, says] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come out of God, is of God: and every spirit [voice] that confesseth not [doesn't confess] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Let me invite you to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and to publicly confess [declare] Him as such before men [publicly]. He will therefore be able to acknowledge and confess you before His Father in Heaven. He is The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Following your public confession, You also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism by immersion.
Jesus came from Galilee t o Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, what Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and said to him:
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And then, Jesus said to him:
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and the believer’s new birth.
It bears witness with John the Baptist who preached that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and exhorted Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but it is an act of obedience to fulfil all righteousness.
Romans 6:3-5:
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.

By applying these scripture verses we can determine with certainty if the scriptural standard that protects believers from believing false prophets has been met. We can thereby identify false witnesses and determine not to believe or follow them. The voice [spirit] being tested should not be believed unless it confesses [states] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, in the flesh having come from God .”
Two Greek manuscripts that were cobbled together by Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland do not make this confession nor do they follow the Textus Receptus rendered from 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts, which agree overwhelmingly with each other known as as the Majority Text. The 5,321 Majority Text is the source from which the trusted Textus Receptus was rendered.
Instead, these two purveyors of Greek texts used their own Greek translations that they invented by hand picking only 55 of the 5,321extant Greek manuscripts. When these 55 Manuscripts did not contain the text being translated, they inserted their own invented and unfounded Greek text.
Their invented Greek translation presented variant readings different than the Textus Receptus [Received Text] in many places. One example from 1 John, Chapter 4 where all English translations other than the King James version overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is translated in substantially all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] and therefore have failed to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (correctly Translated from the Textus Receptus [Received Text (TR)] in the King James Version)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm substantial agreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from an overwhelming agreement found among the Majority Text of 5,321 primary Greek manuscript sources.
Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland ignore the verb “is”, from their invented Greek text and place “has come” instead.
This error may be legally described as res ipsa loquitur a latin phrase that means “the thing speaks for itself”.
Therefore, the Greek inventions generated by these two sources are not actually translations, even though they are introduced as translations, but actually represent their own Greek language inventions unsupported by the reliability of the Majority Texts and the Textus Receptus.
How do we know?
We know because both non-believers and false prophets assert that Jesus Christ
“has come” in the flesh. Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by historians to be the most well documented fact in all of human history.
That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference in meaning between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” is woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”.
Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is generally held. It is not, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. However, this falls short of presenting a logical rubric to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid hypothesis, by which spiritual understanding can be discerned. The failure here to establish a logical and rhetorically sound rubric to judge the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets and the spirit of antichrist is absent if “has come” is the favored reading.
Actually, “has come” is such a wide-spread belief held to be historically true by all, yet, it does not provide a sound standard to discern whether a spirit [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Almost anyone [or any spirit] can declare that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you see, this does not resolve the issue of whether something should or should not be believed as true or followed. Why? Once again, because almost anyone can and often does confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But, his is an insufficient standard. The standard must be whether the confession that Jesus is here alone, gives an efficacious standard to discern truth from error.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore fails to be efficacious for true spiritual discernment.
Further, as we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.

Pray also that believers will be taught by the Holy Spirit to rightly divide God’s eternal Word preserved and protected by God, Himself.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten [supernaturally fathered] Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
The Textus Receptus TR [Received Text] is the faithfully rendered Greek text with an overwhelming agreement in and among the majority of the 5,321 extant New Testament, Greek manuscripts known as the MT. [Majority Text]. The Old Testament Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts were meticulously copied by hand [manuscript] by the Masoretic scribes. These are the manuscripts from which the 1611 King James version was translated onto English.
In order for Westcott & Hort, Nestle & Aland and the Vatican text to have created the Modern Greek upon which were based the variant readings brought about through nuanced readings from the Critical Text theory, only Fifty-five 55 manuscripts from the 5,321 Majority Text MT were hand-picked. They were not from the main-stream, foundational text from which the Textus Receptus was rendered but were selected from inferior Sinaiticus and Vaticanus codices. These forty-five manuscripts brought variant readings created, ostensibly, to create an alternative Greek text to the Textus Receptus. which had been under a long standing yet spurious attack by Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland.
The Codices known as Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are inferior because they often are in disagreement with the Textus Receptus and with one another.
They allow variant readings to support biases not supported by the 5,321 manuscripts of the Majority Text or the Textus Receptus. They have been weakened by “new” Greek text inventions where no corresponding Greek text from the Forty-five hand-picked manuscripts was found.
Neither Westcot nor Hort disclosed themselves as the authors of this new Greek translation. They did, however, provide copies of this new Greek translation to each and every Committee members who would revise the King James Bible. They insisted on a code of silence regarding the new Greek Text secretly introduced from which Revisions were to be made. All members of the committee were required to agree and maintain this code of secrecy.
Modern textual criticism is based on the assumption that older manuscripts are, de-facto, more accurate. Actually, the continuous and unsettled changes from their variant readings reflect error, doctrinal ambiguities and biases not supported by the Majority Text.
Scripture based on The Greek text of Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland of a secular or denominational tradition allow modern textual criticism to rob God of His Sovereignty, Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Immutability, Inerrancy and Infallibility and to diminish Glory from His infinite and everlasting “I AM” that deserves and demands ALL GLORY!

God has preserved His Word through The Masoretic Hebrew and Aramaic languages of the Old Testament and the Greek Textus Receptus of the New Testament:
In contrast, the Incomplete and unsealed codices of Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are not translated from the 5,321 Majority Text Greek manuscripts, that became the Textus Receptus [Original Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus].
The Sinaiticus and Vaticanus manuscripts present variant readings rather than that of the well-established and settled majority Texts. They disagree often with one another as well as with the settled majority texts. Thus, an attempt to create a pretext that will continue to justify a never-ending demand for additional editions and interpretations. These unsettled differences and bias in certain sectarian doctrine [dogma] have led to the production of multiple “modern” editions with ambiguities, many variant readings and confusion from the explosion of unending, new editions.
Profit-driven publishers have embraced such an economic windfall to sell a continual flow of “new and better” English edition of The Bible. These majority manuscripts have Overwhelming agreement, over 97%, with one another
The Hebrew Masoretic Text copied faithfully by Masoretic scribes was the original Old Testament. (The Jewish Tanakh) is the Hebrew source from which translations into other languages were made. These manuscripts are providentially protected of God and always give the greatest glory to God when compared to other translations. Editorial notations, variant and sometimes ambiguous readings taken from Codices Vaticanus, or Sinaiticus consistently allow nuanced meanings to diminish God’s Omnipotence, Omniscience, Omnipresence or other divine attributes from being fully voiced.
The Authorized King James version is unique also in that the requirement of Great Brittan that all King James bibles be printed only by the Cambridge University Press, The Crown’s Authorized Printer. No other [person or publisher] may print, copy or import the King James Bible into Great Brittan by order of the Crown.

The above link is to search for specific words or Scriptures in the King James inerrant and infallible English Version (KJV) because it is providentially protected and preserved by GOD Himself through the only translation into English by faithful brethren from the 5,312 established majority text manuscripts MT from which the New Testament Greek Textus Receptus [received text] was taken and the Hebrew Masoretic Text of the Old Testament (Jewish Tanakh). These manuscripts are providentially protected, and give greater glory to God when compared to the variant readings of all post KJV translations. Modern Critical Texts are based on only 55 hand picked Greek manuscripts fabricated from either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. Both of these Greek textual sources make the assumption that OLDER IS BETTER. Of course, this assumption is not valid in any place the older manuscripts err from the Textus Receptus..

The Inside Story of Westcott and Hort:

In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:

The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,
thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort or Nestle & Aland.is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on defective text. Those who honor the Word of God must not promote any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved, inerrant unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it must be to Him if His people now chose versions that are based on the defective and inferior Greek manuscript invented by Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Aland.

"Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me [Spurgeon's comment] of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melody] , for the king himself was come.
