Lord, we ask that Thy Word may chasten [punish] us whenever
we go astray, may it enlighten us whenever for a moment we get into darkness. May Thy Word be the supreme ruler of our being. May we give ourselves up to its sacred law, to be obedient to its every hint, wishing in all things, even in the least things, to do the will of God from the heart and having every thought brought into captivity to the mind of the Spirit of God.
[Thank You for Your timeless, unchangeable, infallible, inerrant gift to us of Your Holy Word, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.]

All that ravens can ask for will be worms and flies, and yet he hears them, and feeds them; and you, a man, though you may but pray at this time for a very commonplace mercy, one of the slighter [lesser] blessings, yet you may pray with confidence if you have any faith in the gracious Lord.

The more we dwell alone, the more safe [safer] shall we be. God would have His people separate from sinners. His call to them is,
-Come ye out from among them- [Get away from them.]
A Christian world [view] is such a monstrosity [oxymoron] as the Scriptures never contemplate.
A worldly Christian is spiritually diseased. Those who compromise with Christ’s enemies may be reckoned [considered] with them. Our safety lies, not in making terms with the enemy but in dwelling alone with our best Friend [The Lord Jesus Christ].
If we do this, we shall dwell in safety, despite the sarcasms, the slanders, and the sneers of the world. We shall be safe from the baleful influence of its unbelief, its pride, its vanity, its filthiness. God also will make us dwell in safety alone in that day when sin shall be visited on [come upon] the nations by wars and famines.
The Lord brought Abram from Ur of the Chaldees, but he [Abram] stopped half-way. He had no blessing till, having set out to go to the land of Canaan, to the land of Canaan he came. He was safe alone even in the midst of foes [enemies]. Lot was not safe in Sodom though in a circle of friends.
Our safety is in dwelling apart [separated from the world] with God.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I desire to be separate from worldliness knowing that in You, I will be safe and have peace of mind. I ask this by faith, according to Your word, knowing that Your help is in ready supply to bring every creature You have predestined to repent and follow You in Your name, Lord Jesus, I pray, Amen.

IT is well frequently to weigh ourselves in the scale of God's Word. You will find it a holy exercise to read some psalm of David, and, as you meditate upon each verse, to ask yourself,
"Can I say this? Have I felt as David felt?
Has my heart ever been broken on account of sin, as his was when he penned [wrote] his penitential [regretful] psalms? Has my soul been full of true confidence in the hour of difficulty as his was when he sang of God's mercies in the cave of Adullam, or in the holds [forts] of Engedi?
Do I take the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the Lord?"
Then turn to the life of Christ, and as you read, ask yourselves
how far you are conformed to His likeness.
Endeavor to discover whether you have the meekness, the humility, the lovely spirit which He constantly inculcated and displayed. Then take the epistles [letters of Paul], and see whether you can agree with the apostle in what he said of his experience. Have you ever cried out as he did—
"O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death"?
Have you ever felt his self-abasement? Have you seemed to yourself [to be] the chief of sinners, and less than the least of all saints? Have you known anything of his devotion? Could you join with him and say,
"For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain"?
If we thus read God's Word as a test of our spiritual condition, we shall have good reason to stop many a time and say,
“Lord, I feel I have never yet been here, O bring me here! Give me true penitence, such as this I read of. Give me real faith; give me warmer zeal; inflame me with more fervent love; grant me the grace of meekness; make me more like Jesus. Let me no longer be ‘found wanting,’ when weighed in the balances of the sanctuary, lest I be found wanting in the scales of judgment.”

THE apostle uses the perfect tense and says, "Who hath [has] saved us."
Believers in Christ Jesus are saved. They are not looked on as persons who are in a hopeful state, and may ultimately be saved, but they are already saved.
Salvation is not a blessing to be enjoyed on the dying bed, and to be sung of in a future state above, but a matter to be obtained, received, promised, and enjoyed now.
The Christian is perfectly saved in God's purpose. God has ordained him unto- salvation, and that purpose is complete. He is saved also as to the price which has been paid for him:
"It is finished" was the cry of the Savior when He died. The believer is also perfectly saved in His covenant head [the Lord Jesus], for as he [the believer] fell in Adam, so he lives in [Jesus] Christ. This complete salvation is accompanied by a holy calling. Those whom the Savior saved upon the cross are in due time effectually called by the power of God the Holy Spirit to holiness: they leave their sins; they endeavor to be like Christ; they choose holiness, not out of any compulsion, but from the stress [gratitude] of a new nature, which leads them to rejoice in holiness just as naturally as aforetime [in times past] they delighted in sin.
God neither chose them nor called them because they were holy, but He called them that they might be holy, and holiness is the beauty produced by His workmanship in them. The excellencies which we see in a believer are as much the work of God as the atonement [salvation] itself.
Thus, is brought out very sweetly the fullness of the grace of God.
Salvation must be of grace, because the Lord is the author of it: and what motive but grace could move Him to save the guilty?
Salvation must be of grace, because the Lord works in such a manner that our righteousness is for ever excluded. Such is the believer's privilege
—a present salvation;
such is the evidence that he is called to it—a holy life.

*A.D. did not and does NOT mean “After Death” as many erroneously now think. It actually abbreviates Anno Domini, a Latin phrase adopted into English that literally means “Year of our Lord”. It has been used together with B.C. Before Christ for centuries.
B.C.E is not a synonym for B.C. (Before Christ)] It is not the same thing. Not even close.
B.C.E. (BEFORE COMMON ERA [or BEFORE CURRENT ERA] ― Anything to avoid all reference or mention of anything CHRISTIAN by atheist and anti-Christians and to remove A.D. [Anno Domini] and B.C. [Before Christ] from being used.
This argument, claims to have a neutral point of view to remove the reference to Jesus Christ by omitting the use of A.D Ano Domini and B.C. Before Christ This argument brings forward a faulty and egregious hypothesis. Without consideration of a person’s religious views analysis of the hypothesis of a neutral point of view (NPOV) must be made.
What is A NEUTRAL point of view? Such a fool’s errand would argue that a point of view could set forth a valid, genuine, authentic and simultaneously be neutral. What? This defies logic. A neutral point of view, were it possible, is no point of view at all. Rather, it’s illogical and by applying simple common sense, impossible. Anytime a point of view is combined, confused or blended with another one so that the properties are clouded, weakened or confused the actual definite and certain POV is lost and any rational adherence or support for it is now moot. A Neutral point of view exists only in the imagination of those who prefer confusion to a true, authentic, genuine, robust and proven point of a verifiable fact.
A neutral point of view, were it possible, would be, at best, illogical, unattainable, indefensible and irresponsible. The king of oxymorons.
Therefore, the mere consideration of an imagined but impossible and unattainable neutral point of view (NPOV) is ludicrous. A point of view cannot be NEUTRAL. An authentic point of view cannot be neutral, or ambiguous, but must clearly advance a singular, definite and certain point of view (POV). It cannot be both a POV and neutral. A neutral point of view is a logical impossibility. A neutral (POV), were it possible, would ignore the historical fact of Jesus Christ’s birth. The pretense of seeking a neutral point of view is therefore misleading and disingenuous.

He’s alive today, has always existed as God’s eternal and everlasting Word,
and will soon return for his bride, the Church
[The body of all redeemed believers in Jesus Christ].
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: for I am God and there is none else.
You are invited to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord and to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Do it] now: for thus it becometh us [is beautifully fitting and expected of us] to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not a requirement for salvation but it is the willing desire of all believers to demonstrate agreement and consistency with the righteousness of preaching Repentance and Baptism as preached and practiced by John the Baptist is obedience to scriptural teaching. The issue of baptism is therefore not an issue of salvation but of obedience and the fulfilling of all righteousness.
Worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth will spring-up and be manifested in a sense of gratitude from all born again believers. Such trust and worship can come through prayer, Bible reading, scriptural meditation and study. Fellowship in a local church body, hearing gospel preaching and singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs are also acts of worship and reflects active discipleship.

They did not feel at liberty to abandon their post of duty because their surroundings were no longer congenial. [They were now out of their comfort zone but obliged to steadfastly remain and serve there] The truth had found them there, and there they remained, by their changed life and character testifying to the transforming power of their new found faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers.
Let us make daily use of our riches, and ever repair [return] to Him as to our own Lord in covenant, taking from Him the supply of all we need with as much boldness as men take money from their own purse [wallet].

Is it of God?
Is it trustworthy?
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everything you hear] but [continually] be testing the spirit whether it is of God: because many false prophets have come out in the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesseth [confesses, says] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come out of God, is of God: and every spirit [voice] that confesseth not [doesn't confess] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Hence, I confess [declare and affirm] "Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh."

Let me invite you to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and to publicly confess [declare] Him as such before men [publicly]. He will therefore be able to acknowledge and confess you before His Father in Heaven. He is The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Following your public confession, You also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism by immersion.
