Still, Lord, though healed of a former lameness so that now we have strength, we need a further touch from Thee; we are so apt to get dull and stupid; come and help us, Lord Jesus.
A vision of Thy face will brighten us; but to feel Thy Spirit touching us will make us vigorous. Oh! for the leaping and the walking of the man born lame.
May we today dance with holy joy like David before the Ark of God. May a holy exhilaration take possession of every part of us; may we be glad in the Lord; may our mouth be filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing,
“for the Lord hath done great things for us whereof we are glad.”

ANECDOTE 287: Uncertain Tenure of Life.
Have you not been startled by the news that a neighbor or acquaintance, with whom you chatted a day or two ago, is dead? “Dead!” you said. “Why, he was in my shop only a few days ago! Dead! Why, he seemed to be in good health, strong in body, vigorous in mind, full of plans and projects; I should have thought of any man being dead sooner than he!”
Do not you recollect the time when you heard the bell toll for a near relative, and when you stood over the open grave? Ah, then, when the dust fell upon the coffin-lid, and the words were uttered,
“Dust to dust, ashes to ashes,”
each of those thundering morsels said,
“I have a message from God unto thee.”

It is the Lord’s way to tear [wound] before He heals. This is the honest love of His heart, and the sure surgery of His hand. He also bruises before He binds up [dresses the wound], or else it would be uncertain work.
The law comes before the gospel; the sense of need before the supply of it.
Is the reader now under the convincing, crushing hand of the Spirit?
Has he received the spirit of bondage again to fear?
This is a salutary preliminary to real gospel healing and binding up.
Do not despair, dear heart, but come to the Lord with all thy jagged wounds, black bruises, and running sores.
He alone can heal, and He delights to do it.
It is our Lord’s office to bind up the brokenhearted,
and He is gloriously at home at it.
Let us not linger [waste time], but at once return unto the Lord from whom we have gone astray. Let us show Him our gaping wounds, and beseech [earnestly ask] Him to know [acknowledge] His own work, and complete it.
Will a surgeon make an incision, and then leave his patient to bleed to death? Will the Lord pull down our old house, and then refuse to build us a better one? Dost [do] thou ever wantonly [with malice] increase the misery of poor anxious souls?
That be far from thee, O Lord. [It’s impossible for You, Lord]
Prayer: Thank you Lord that we can confess with Hosea:

We know that when the heart is convicted of sin, salvation always follows soon after.
Please save me Lord Jesus. I’m a sinner and need salvation. Thank You that Your grace and mercy allow me to return to You. Thank You that You will heal and care for me in Your name and for Your sake, Lord Jesus, I pray, Amen.

“Joint heirs with Christ”. —Romans 8:17

THE boundless realms of His Father's universe are Christ's by prescriptive right.
As "heir of all things,"
He is the sole proprietor [owner] of the vast creation of God, and He has admitted us to claim the whole as ours, by virtue of that deed of joint heir-ship [ownership] which the Lord has ratified with His chosen people.
The golden streets of paradise, the pearly gates, the river of life, the transcendent bliss, and the unutterable glory, are, by our blessed Lord, made [given] over to us for our everlasting possession.
All that He has He shares with His people.
The royal crown He has placed upon the head of His Church, appointing her a kingdom, and calling her sons
a royal priesthood, a generation of priests and kings.
He uncrowned Himself that we might have a coronation of glory;
He would not sit on his own throne until he had procured [made secure] a place on it for all who overcome by His blood.
Crown the head and the whole body shares the honor. Behold here! [Look at this!] the reward of every Christian conqueror!
Christ's throne,
crown,
scepter [jeweled staff, representing His sovereign authority],
palace,
treasure,
robes, and
heritage are yours.
Far superior to the jealousy, selfishness, and greed which permit no participation in their gains, Christ deems [considers] His happiness completed by sharing it with his people.
"The glory which You gave me have I given them."
"These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full."
The smiles of His Father are all the sweeter to Him, because His people share them.
The honors of His kingdom are more pleasing, because His people appear with Him in glory.
More valuable to Him are His conquests, since they have taught His people to overcome.
He delights in His throne, because on it there is a place for them.
He rejoices in His royal robes, since over them His skirts are spread.
He delights the more in His joy, because He calls them [us] to enter into it.

WHO is He of whom such gracious words are spoken? He is the Good Shepherd.
Why does he carry the lambs in His bosom?
Because He has a tender heart, and any weakness melts His heart at once. The sighs [of contentment], the ignorance, the feebleness of the little ones of His flock spark His compassion.
It is His office, as a faithful High Priest, to consider the weak.
Besides, He purchased them with blood, they are His property: He must and will care for that which cost Him so dear.
Then He is responsible for each lamb, bound by covenant engagements not to lose one.
Moreover, they are all a part of His glory and reward.
But how may we understand the expression,
"He will carry them"?
Sometimes He carries them by not permitting them to endure much trial. Providence deals tenderly with them.
Often, they are "carried" by being filled with an unusual degree of love, so that they bear up and stand fast. Though their knowledge may not be deep, they have great sweetness in what they do know.
Frequently He "carries" them by giving them a very simple faith, which takes the promise just as it stands, and believingly runs with every trouble straight to Jesus.
The simplicity of their faith gives them an unusual degree of confidence that carries them above the world.
"He carries the lambs in His bosom."
Here is boundless affection.
Would He put them in His bosom if He did not love them much?
Here is tender nearness: so near are they that they could not possibly be nearer.
Here is hallowed familiarity: there are precious love-passages between Christ and His weak ones.
Here is perfect safety: in His bosom who can hurt them?
They must hurt the Shepherd first. Here is perfect rest and sweetest comfort.
Surely, we are not sufficiently sensible [aware and knowledgable] of
the infinite tenderness of Jesus!

*A.D. did not and does NOT mean “After Death” as many erroneously now think. It actually abbreviates Anno Domini, a Latin phrase adopted into English that literally means “Year of our Lord”. It has been used together with B.C. Before Christ for centuries.
B.C.E is not a synonym for B.C. (Before Christ)] It is not the same thing. Not even close.
B.C.E. / C.E or B.C. /A.D. What’s the difference?
B.C.E. (BEFORE COMMON ERA [or BEFORE CURRENT ERA] ― Anything to avoid all reference or mention of anything CHRISTIAN by atheist and anti-Christians and to remove A.D. [Anno Domini] and B.C. [Before Christ] from being used.
The argument here, claims to have a neutral point of view that would remove all reference to Jesus Christ by omitting the use of A.D Ano Domini and B.C. Before ChristThis argument brings forward a faulty if not egregious hypothesis. Without consideration of a person’s religious views analysis of the hypothesis of a neutral point of view (NPOV) must be made.
What is A NEUTRAL point of view? Such a fool’s errand would argue that a point of view could set forth a valid, genuine, authentic and simultaneously be neutral. What? This defies logic. A neutral point of view, were it possible, is no point of view at all. Rather, it’s illogical and by applying simple common sense, impossible. Anytime a point of view is combined, confused or blended with another one so that the properties are clouded, weakened or confused the actual definite and certain POV is lost and any rational adherence or support for it is now moot. A Neutral point of view exists only in the imagination of those who prefer confusion to a true, authentic, genuine, robust and proven point of a verifiable fact.
A neutral point of view, were it possible, would be, at best, illogical, unattainable, indefensible and irresponsible. The king of oxymorons.
Therefore, the mere consideration of an imagined but impossible and unattainable neutral point of view (NPOV) is ludicrous. A point of view cannot be NEUTRAL. An authentic point of view cannot be neutral, or ambiguous, but must clearly advance a singular, definite and certain point of view (POV). It cannot be both a POV and neutral. A neutral point of view is a logical impossibility. A neutral (POV), were it possible, would ignore the historical fact of Jesus Christ’s birth. The pretense of seeking a neutral point of view is therefore misleading and disingenuous.
The Lord Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh,

He’s alive today, has always existed as God’s eternal and everlasting Word,
and will soon return for his bride, the Church
[The body of all redeemed believers in Jesus Christ].
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: for I am God and there is none else.
You are invited to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord and to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Do it] now: for thus it becometh us [is beautifully fitting and expected of us] to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not a requirement for salvation but it is the willing desire of all believers to demonstrate agreement and consistency with the righteousness of preaching Repentance and Baptism by John the Baptist and obedience to the scriptural teaching. The issue of baptism is therefore not an issue of salvation but of obedience and of fulfilling all righteousness.
Worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth will spring-up and be manifested in a sense of gratitude. Such worship can come through prayer, Bible reading, scriptural meditation and study. Fellowship in a local church body, hearing gospel preaching and singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs are also acts of worship and reflects an active discipleship.
To this purpose, DailySpurgeon, is offered as a reliable, dependable and effective resource.

Here’s how you know the Spirit [voice] of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come from God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit [voice] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore, we should [must] test every voice [spirit] whether it is from God, bonified and trustworthy to be believed only if it confesses [says] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, from God, in the flesh having come from God .”
[All English translations of the Bible other than King James have erroneously translated from two alternate Greek texts created by Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Alland as “Has come” rather than“Is come” [Is Here] which is the correct translation following the Greek Majority Text and the Textus Receptus]. The majority of manuscripts MT of the 5,321 individual Greek manuscripts that are preserved, protected, inerrant, infallible and immutable manuscripts and are in overwhelming agreement with one another and are the source from which the Textus Receptus is taken
All Modern Critical translations overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is in virtually all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] therefore they fail to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (Rightly translated from the Received Text only in the King James Version)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm agreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from this overwhelming body of agreement from Majority Text of primary manuscript sources. Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland have omitted the verb “is”, from the Greek text. This error may be described in the legal term res ipsa loquitur meaning the thing speaks for itself.
Therefore, the alternate translations generated from these two alternate Greek fabrications are not correct. Why is that?
Because non-believers and false prophets can indeed, and often do, affirm that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by virtually all respected historians to be the most well documented fact in history. That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” falls woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”. Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is not surprising nor is it, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. However, this fails to present a Rubric necessary to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid hypothesis, proffered and inferred in the contextfor scriptural discernment. The failure here to establish a logical and rhetorically sound rubric to judge the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets and the spirit of antichrist is absent.
Namely, it does not provide a sound hypothesis to discern whether a spirit [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Virtually anyone [or any spirit] may avow that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you can see, this does not resolve the issue of whether something should or should not be believed or followed. Why? Once again, because virtually anyone and everyone can and often do confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. This leaves absent a valid and efficacious hypothesis to discern the truth.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore is a failed attempt to represent itself as efficacious for true spiritual discernment as outlined in 1 John Chapter 4: 1-3.
Further, as we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.

It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [happy melodies] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart [main castle] he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, Oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. GOD’S UNSPEAKABLE GIFT.
Still, Lord, though healed of a former lameness so that now we have strength, we need a further touch from Thee; we are so apt to get dull and stupid; come and help us, Lord Jesus.
A vision of Thy face will brighten us; but to feel Thy Spirit touching us will make us vigorous. Oh! for the leaping and the walking of the man born lame.
May we today dance with holy joy like David before the Ark of God. May a holy exhilaration take possession of every part of us; may we be glad in the Lord; may our mouth be filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing,
“for the Lord hath done great things for us whereof we are glad.”

It was well for him to remember his funeral at his coronation. I bring before you now the unwritten marbles of life: which will you have,
holiness, or sin,
Christ or self?
When you have chosen, you will begin to write the inscription upon it; for

It is the Lord’s way to tear [wound] before He heals. This is the honest love of His heart, and the sure surgery of His hand. He also bruises before He binds up [dresses the wound], or else it would be uncertain work.
The law comes before the gospel; the sense of need before the supply of it.
Is the reader now under the convincing, crushing hand of the Spirit?
Has he received the spirit of bondage again to fear?
This is a salutary preliminary to real gospel healing and binding up.
Do not despair, dear heart, but come to the Lord with all thy jagged wounds, black bruises, and running sores.
He alone can heal, and He delights to do it.
It is our Lord’s office to bind up the brokenhearted,
and He is gloriously at home at it.
Let us not linger [waste time], but at once return unto the Lord from whom we have gone astray. Let us show Him our gaping wounds, and beseech [earnestly ask] Him to know [acknowledge] His own work, and complete it.
Will a surgeon make an incision, and then leave his patient to bleed to death? Will the Lord pull down our old house, and then refuse to build us a better one? Dost [do] thou ever wantonly [with malice] increase the misery of poor anxious souls?
That be far from thee, O Lord. [It’s impossible for You, Lord]
Prayer: Thank you Lord that we can confess with Hosea:

We know that when the heart is convicted of sin, salvation always follows soon after.
Please save me Lord Jesus. I’m a sinner and need salvation. Thank You that Your grace and mercy allow me to return to You. Thank You that You will heal and care for me in Your name and for Your sake, Lord Jesus, I pray, Amen.

THE boundless realms of His Father's universe are Christ's by prescriptive right.
As "heir of all things,"
He is the sole proprietor [owner] of the vast creation of God, and He has admitted us to claim the whole as ours, by virtue of that deed of joint heir-ship [ownership] which the Lord has ratified with His chosen people.
The golden streets of paradise, the pearly gates, the river of life, the transcendent bliss, and the unutterable glory, are, by our blessed Lord, made [given] over to us for our everlasting possession.
All that He has He shares with His people.
The royal crown He has placed upon the head of His Church, appointing her a kingdom, and calling her sons
a royal priesthood, a generation of priests and kings.
He uncrowned Himself that we might have a coronation of glory;
He would not sit on his own throne until he had procured [made secure] a place on it for all who overcome by His blood.
Crown the head and the whole body shares the honor. Behold here! [Look at this!] the reward of every Christian conqueror!
Christ's throne,
crown,
scepter [jeweled staff, representing His sovereign authority],
palace,
treasure,
robes, and
heritage are yours.
Far superior to the jealousy, selfishness, and greed which permit no participation in their gains, Christ deems [considers] His happiness completed by sharing it with his people.
"The glory which You gave me have I given them."
"These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full."
The smiles of His Father are all the sweeter to Him, because His people share them.
The honors of His kingdom are more pleasing, because His people appear with Him in glory.
More valuable to Him are His conquests, since they have taught His people to overcome.
He delights in His throne, because on it there is a place for them.
He rejoices in His royal robes, since over them His skirts are spread.
He delights the more in His joy, because He calls them [us] to enter into it.

EVENING May 14

WHO is He of whom such gracious words are spoken? He is the Good Shepherd.
Why does he carry the lambs in His bosom?
Because He has a tender heart, and any weakness melts His heart at once. The sighs [of contentment], the ignorance, the feebleness of the little ones of His flock spark His compassion.
It is His office, as a faithful High Priest, to consider the weak.
Besides, He purchased them with blood, they are His property: He must and will care for that which cost Him so dear.
Then He is responsible for each lamb, bound by covenant engagements not to lose one.
Moreover, they are all a part of His glory and reward.
But how may we understand the expression,
"He will carry them"?
Sometimes He carries them by not permitting them to endure much trial. Providence deals tenderly with them.
Often, they are "carried" by being filled with an unusual degree of love, so that they bear up and stand fast. Though their knowledge may not be deep, they have great sweetness in what they do know.
Frequently He "carries" them by giving them a very simple faith, which takes the promise just as it stands, and believingly runs with every trouble straight to Jesus.
The simplicity of their faith gives them an unusual degree of confidence that carries them above the world.
"He carries the lambs in His bosom."
Here is boundless affection.
Would He put them in His bosom if He did not love them much?
Here is tender nearness: so near are they that they could not possibly be nearer.
Here is hallowed familiarity: there are precious love-passages between Christ and His weak ones.
Here is perfect safety: in His bosom who can hurt them?
They must hurt the Shepherd first. Here is perfect rest and sweetest comfort.
Surely, we are not sufficiently sensible [aware and knowledgable] of
the infinite tenderness of Jesus!

Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am hopeless. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross for my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity condemned to Hell. I have been self-centered from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m guilty and sorry for each and every sin I have done and look to You to forgive me of them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, Lord Jesus, right now to save me. You died on the cross for me, because of my sin and You say, “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21.
Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me, I trust You, to be my Lord and Savior from now on.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins. I ask You to abide in me and give me the desire to always follow You.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross. Even the sins of the whole world.
Thank you, Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me even before I was born and that You still love me now. I love You too.
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You have called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [Holy Ghost, Comforter, Spirit of Truth]
Thank You for saving me heavenly Father. With all my heart, thank you Father for saving me in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Allow us to share the joy of your new birth with heaven. Won’t you? Heaven rejoices over each redeemed sinner. Luke 15:7

In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:

The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,
thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on a defective text. Those who want to honor the Word of God must not promote the use of any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved without error unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it would be to Him if His people now chose instead to use versions that are based on defective Greek manuscript created by Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland.

It’s the ONLY ENGLISH translation that is translated into English from the Textus Receptus [This Received Text is rendered from 5,321 Greek manuscripts that overwhelmingly agree with one another known as the Majority Text MT. All other versions are translated from Greek text created by either Westcott and Hort or the Nestle-Aland that was rendered by “Chery-picking” only 55 Greek manuscripts or fragments. These do not even agree with themselves and far less with the preserved and protected Textus Receptus.
