The inspired preaching, teaching and writings of Charles Haddon Spurgeon were bedrock solid on God’s revealed Word, the Bible. Spurgeon’s written publications continue to benefit readers with inspired Gospel preaching and sound biblical teaching. His ministry continues to flourish in London’s Metropolitan Tabernacle. (Brief History) a church begun in 1650. The building was constructed by members of the congregation in 1861. It continues to thrive and flourish today.

All Bible versions that are NOT translated from the Textus Receptus [The (traditional) Received Greek Text] include variant readings that diminish the full expressions of glory and the most Holy reverence due to the Omnipotent, Almighty GOD. He preserves and protects its immutably in the 1769 Edition of the 1611 King James Version Bible KJV. This version is known as the Authorized King James Version AKJV and the Authorized Version AV. ALL GLORY is due and must be given to the Omnipotent and Omniscient LORD of ALL.
The Geneva Bible was also faithfully translated from the Greek Textus Receptus and included comments favorable to the Protestant Reformation from inspired, devoted, faithful Christian men of GOD; They were Puritan Believers known to be beyond reproach.
This Bible was first brought to Plymouth Massachusetts in the American Colonies by the Puritan Pilgrims guided by Captain Christopher Jones’s on the Mayflower sailing ship in 1620. A 1592 Edition of the Geneva Bible that belonging to a Mayflower passenger and the Governor of the Plymouth Colony (Later to become the State of Massachusetts) by William Bradford and is on display at the Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the oldest continuously operating public museum in the United States.
The traditional Textus Receptus [Received Greek Text] unlike any other Greek Text was taken from more than 5,321 original Majority Greek Manuscripts MT that agree 98% with one another. Other variant readings are translations invented by either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. These fabricated Greek Texts were translated from only a handful [45] of Majority Text Manuscripts MT and lack the trustworthiness of the inspired 1769 [1611] King James Version, KJV or the Geneva Bible and are the only two translations of the traditional, reliable, inspired, [GOD BREATHED] immutable and providentially and divinely protected Textus Receptus.

The historical video Bridge to Babylon presents evidence that tracks the explosion of more than 100 new versions or editions of English translations of the Bible. The attempts to change by adding to, or taking away from the 1769 edition of the King James Version KJV of the Holy Bible will never prevail because GOD Himself preserves and protects His inspired, inerrant, immutable and infallible Holy Word of GOD from any heresy, blasphemy, confusion , errors, additions, subtractions or any change.

BCE/CE vs. BC/AD Is there a difference?
defend the Truth. Won’t you?
*A.D. does NOT mean “After Death” as many mistakenly believe. It is Latin for Anno Domini, a phrase adopted into English usage that means “Year of [the/our] Lord”. The complete original phrase "anno Domini nostri Jesu Christi" means "in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ”. A.D. and together with B.C. Before Christ is used to divide all history before and after the birth of Jesus the Christ [Messiah]. ...More

Can DAILYSPURGEON be trusted? Is it trustworthy?
Is it of God?
YES, it can! Yes, it is! Here’s why.
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everyone or !everything] you hear but be testing the spirit [voice] whether it is of God: because many false prophets have gone [come] out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses [avows] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come[who came] out of God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not [doesn’t audibly avow] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
I therefore must and do audibly confess, that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh.
[All translations of the Bible that use Greek translations other than the traditional and faithful Textus Receptus do not include “ictin” the Greek word that means “is” in English] and its exclusion erroneously causes the meaning of its English , “is here” to change from “is” come” [is here] to “has” come”.
This translation error is self-evident because non-believers, false prophets, atheists and even heretics can, and frequently do, affirm that Jesus Christ “has come” [in the flesh].
While this is a true statement, when taken at face value, the meaning of “has come” is clearly not the same as “is here”. When has come is the meaning the scriptural test to discern whether the words being analyzed are from the Spirit of God or the spirit of antichrist is completely negated.
The most well documented fact in all of human history is that Jesus Christ [Anointed Messiah] “has” come in the flesh. However, the question of much greater importance, is not whether the spirit [a spoken or written word] being considered and tested confesses that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh but, whether the confession being made affirms that Jesus Christ, “is come” [is now here], in the flesh.
Compare and consider [Meditate upon] scripture with other relative scripture: Precept upon precept, Line upon line…
Isaiah 28:10-14

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I [The Apostle Paul] speak concerning Christ and the church. [The body and Bride of CHRIST]
“I speak concerning Christ and the church.” [the fleshly embodiment, here and now, of the body of Christ]. Because followers of Jesus Christ are members of the incarnate Body of Christ [The Church] I affirm and avow that Jesus Christ is here
[Not “Has come”] in the flesh.

Which Bible Is The Best? (57 min.) David Hocking
GOD’S HOLY WORD is
Immutable, [unchanging and, unable to mutate or be changed],
Inspired, [God breathed, spoken],
Infallible,[Incapable of failing]
Inerrant [Without error]
Self-Authenticating [The Bible is considered to be self-authenticating because proponents who believe it to be so know it contains inherent divine qualities—Such qualities are unity, majesty, power, and internal consistency—that reveal its divine origin, that convinces readers of its truth without relying on external historical proof or church testimony.
This concept, championed by the Reformation, know that the Holy Spirit illuminate:
the "heavenliness of its matter,"
the "efficacy of its doctrine," and
the "majesty of its style" within the text itself, allowing God's Word to be recieved directly, the same way as seeing God's glory in Christ.]
Providentially Protected and Preserved
Psalm 12:6-7: 6 The words of the Lord are pure words:
as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them [Thy Words] , O Lord, thou shalt preserve them [Thy Words] from this generation for ever. (AKJV).
Isaiah 40:8: 8 The grass withereth, [withers] the flower fadeth [fades] :but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (AKJV).
Matthew 5:18: 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (AKJV).
Matthew 24:35: 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (AKJV).
1 Peter 1:23: 23 being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (AKJV).
1 Peter 1:25: 25 but the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. (AKJV).
Psalm 119:89: 89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven, Psalm 119:89). (AKJV).
The Authorized King James Version (AKJV) also known as The Authorized Version (AV) and The Geneva Bible are faithful English Translations from the preeminent, [surpassing all others] and traditional Greek of the Textus Receptus [Received Text] that self-authenticate and are superior to all Critical Text translations or editions as to their authentic divine inspiration and fidelity from The Almighty Triune GOD.
John 1:1: 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Which Bible Is The Best? (57 min.) David Hocking
(8 min.) The problem behind Bible translations is not English, … It’s not English. The issue is what Greek text were you using… I believe the true Author is The Holy Spirit. I believe this is the Word of God… We need to understand that The word of GOD in and of itself is power. Power to change your life and through the work of the Holy Spirit can produce the New Birth. We are born again of an incorruptible seed of the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever. --- David Hocking
(AKJV) This Translation was faithfully translated by consecrated, fully dedicated, preeminent linguists, language scholars who were devoted followers of The Lord Jesus Christ. The 1611 King James translation is from the inerrant, inspired and immutable Textus Receptus [Received Text]:
Psalm 119:89 ל (Lamed) Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
“Thy Word” is The Inspired and Ultimate Stare Decisis [The Latin phrase that means to stand by things decided, to uphold all things God-Breathed [Inspired] and therefore eternally and immutably decided]
4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth [says] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore, I now confess that “Jesus Christ is here, from God, in the flesh.”
[All other English translations of the Bible that use Greek manuscripts other than the Textus Receptus render the English translation as “Has come”.
This erroneous Translation is because inferior Greek manuscripts that do not include the Greek word “ictin” (This is The Greek word for is that is found only in the Textus Receptus) and therefore fail to correctly translate “Is come” [Is Here] into English.
The Authorized King James Version AKJV also known as The Authorized Version AV stand alone in giving the correct translation as “is here”.
The error, “has come” is self- evident, because non-believers, false prophets and even heretics can, and sometimes do, make the confession that He “has come” in the flesh. This is no surprise to us because the birth of Jesus Christ is the most well documented fact in all of recorded history. Indeed, it is a factual statement that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. While this is, on the surface a true statement, when “has come” replaces “is come” its altered meaning does not now provide the test of discernment as to whether a spirit [voiced or written words being read or heard] is either from God or from antichrist. It is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, but it’s essential and of crucial importance, that the confession that Jesus Christ, “is here, in the flesh.” Be made out-loud.
By Reading, comparing and meditating on any certain Scripture together with other relevant Scriptures, God’s Word self-authenticates:
Therefore we study:
1 John 4:1-3 with Ephesians 5:30-32
Authorized (King James) Version
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
30: for we are members of his [Jesus Christs’] body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and His bride the church.
[We are members of His body, flesh and bones, one flesh with Him, as His bride the church].
He was born of a virgin 2026 years ago, and HE is alive today,
and He is coming soon for His bride; The Church.
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory. "1 Timothy 3:16

It should be the desire of every born-again believer to worship God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, in Spirit and in truth.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [accurately sharing] the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
To this end, Heavenly Father, we pray that You will bless all who visit this website and bring many to confess the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
This Website does not replace nor can it be a substitute for the in-person, personal assembling of ourselves together. Hebrews 10:23-27
Rather, the Website’s purpose is to save lost sinners and to teach and encourage believers through God’s Word and prayer to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ [The Messiah] in personal discipleship and worship of the Lord Jesus as we are being conformed to His very image. “For whom God did foreknow he did also predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son…” Romans 8:29
We are, instructed by Holy Scripture to assemble, praise and worship God. Thus we worship the Lord Jesus Christ and exhort and provoke one another to do good works.
Such worship takes place through, congregational singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs, reading, preaching and obeying God’s Word, sharing Christian love and fellowship, agreeing together with specific public prayer requests, and reading and exhorting one another in the Word, to provoke one another to love and serve and bear witness with one another in the Holy Ghost.
Admonition: Online streaming may not satisfy personal interaction, or the fellowship of an in-person assembly. Electronic media cannot substitute for the physical inter-personal fellowship, commitment, and humility, nor does it provide for a kind and comforting touch or embrace of another believer. e.g. Laying on of hands, 1 Timothy 4:14; the right hands of Christian fellowship, Galatians 2:9; or an embrace, Acts 20:1; or greeting with a holy kiss,
We give thanks to the Lord, for DailySpurgeon.com as an instrumentality for building up of fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who are being taught and are taught to teach others to be disciples; Fully devoted followers of The Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah].
We pray that you will also be an inspired instrumentality of God to share the good news of Jesus Christ with every creature, encouraging them to become the very image of Jesus Christ.
This ministry was begun as daily e-mails of Faith’s Checkbook by Charles H. Spurgeon were sent to Jon Edward Riley. Jon shared these messages with others and soon many wered added to the mailing list as he witnessed and shared his testimony with them.
Jon was called home by his loving Father in Heaven on January 16, 2021 leaving a legacy of this Website to minister to all who will benefit in this labor of Love to the glorify God and His Eternal Kingdom. ALL Glory belongs to God, alone.
Jon is honored; giving honor to whom honor is due. Romans 13:7
We pray that many will be born again, challenged, encouraged, and built-up to become fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and be conformed to His image; that they might be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:28-29.

Jon loved to say, “I’m a blood-bought, born-again Child of God!” to anyone he happened to meet or to anyone who would listen.
… Jon’s testimony lives on from one who, by grace, through faith was forever accepted in the Beloved; who’s loving ways brought the good news of Jesus to many. and one who is now present with the LORD in glory forever. One who, one day, we’ll meet again.
Amen.
Jon would sometimes just sing-out some of the following songs on the way to church, or sometimes just singing along with the Elvis Gospel CD that was always in our F-150’s CD player while riding with his Dad or,
Best of all, when an inspired, spontaneous praise from the Lord would just pop out from his joyful, creative, redeemed and loving heart.

…Jon would always say “Later”; [as in, see-ya later] instead of “good bye”. It was his only farewell greeting when parting company with a friend; and, everyone was Jon’s friend.
… He would never say “good-bye”.
Now, as we remember the sound of him saying “Later”, it rings true in a new and deeper meaning and it brings a joy and comfort to the hearts of those whom he loved so well; those who love him still and will forever more.
… and how much sweeter to us now, are the promises in these two Hymns:
’TILL WE MEET AGAIN. (sing along, won’t you?)

God Appeals to Reason Isaiah 30:15-21 with Dr. Peter Masters
Before conversion, the claims of God mean nothing to us, but when God's Word speaks to our hearts, [by the Holy Spirit] the challenge becomes inescapable [and Irresistible ]. The goodness of God is fully demonstrated in the promises He makes in the Bible. That the Creator and Sovereign God should deign to give promises to us is amazing. Here are the major promises, how Christ makes them possible, and how we receive them.

The Phenomenon of Love Isaiah 63.7 Dr. Peter Masters
The nature and scope of human love is impressive, but Divine love, made visible in history and, supremely in the atoning sacrifice of Christ, is limitless, freely bestowed and certain toward all who find Him. Here are the 'loving-kindnesses of the Lord' they experience.
Living for the Flesh or for the Spirit Romans 8.5-6 Dr. Peter Masters
There are two classes of people in the Bible, those who focus on 'the flesh', and those who relate to the Spirit. Here are the characteristics and goals of each, and how God can free us from the captivity of flesh to know communion with Himself.
Mutual Debts in Marriage 1 Corinthians 7:3 Dr. Peter Masters 15 January 2012

A SINNER’S PRAYER January 11th
________________________________________
PRAYER 2, Part 4 of 4 January 11th THANKS BE UNTO GOD
Lord, keep us all from sin; teach us how to walk circumspectly [with truth and wisdom] ; enable us to guard our minds against error of doctrine, our hearts against wrong feelings, and our lives against evil actions. Oh, may we never speak unadvisedly with our lips, nor give way to anger. Above all, keep us from covetousness [envy] which is idolatry, and from malice which is of the devil.
Grant unto us to be full of sweetness and light. May love dwell in us and reign in us. May we look not every man on his own things, but every man on the things of others. Give us to live for Jesus. There is no life like it. Help us to be Christly [Christ-like] men, Christ’s men, and may we in all things reflect the light which we receive from Him. Bless our beloved Church, and all its organizations [ministries]. O God, take care of it. Oh! do thou [Oh, Do] make every member of the Church a pastor [care giver] over others.
Let all strive [work eagerly] together for the good of all, and so may Thy kingdom come among us. And do Thou [Do] prosper all the churches of Jesus Christ. What we ask for ourselves we seek for them. Let missionaries especially be helped by Thy [Holy] Spirit, and may there come a day in which the minds of men may be better prepared to receive the Gospel, and may Messiah’s Kingdom come to the overthrow of her that sitteth [sits] on the Seven Hills and to the eternal waning of Mohammed’s moon, to the overthrow of every idol, that Christ alone may reign.
Our whole heart comes out in this. Reign, Immanuel, reign; sit on the high throne; ride on Thy White Horse; and let the armies of heaven follow thee, conquering and to conquer. Come, Lord Jesus; even so, come quickly. [In the name of the Lord Jesus,] Amen and amen.

ANECDOTE 162: January 11th DEATH LIKE GOING TO BED.
The child has to go to bed, but it does not cry, if mother is going upstairs with it [them]. It
is quite dark: but what of that? The mother’s eyes are lamps to the child. It is very lonely and still. Not so; the mother’s arms are the child s company, and her voiceis its music. 0, Lord, when the hour comes for me to go to bed, I know that thou wilt take me there, and speak lovingly into my ear; therefore I cannot fear, but will with faith and hope, even look forward to that hour of thy manifested love.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK January 11th FAITH SEES THE BOW [rainbow]
By C.H. Spurgeon 1834-1892
-And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the [rain] bow shall be seen in the cloud.- Genesis 9:14
-Y sera que cuando hare venir nubes sobre la tierra, se dejara ver entonces mi arco en las nubes- Genesis 9:14
Just now clouds are plentiful enough, but we are not afraid that the world will be destroyed by a deluge [flood] . We see the rainbow often enough to prevent our having any such fears. The covenant which the Lord made with Noah stands fast, and we have no doubts about it.
Why, then, should we think that the clouds of trouble, which now darken our sky, will end in our destruction? Let us dismiss such groundless and dishonoring fears.
Faith always sees the [rain] bow of covenant promise whenever sense sees the cloud of affliction. God has a bow with which He might shoot out His arrows of destruction; but see! it is turned upward.
It is a bow without an arrow or a string; it is a bow hung out for show, no longer used for war. It is a bow of many colors, expressing joy and delight, and not a bow blood-red with slaughter, or black with anger. Let us be of good courage.
Never does God so darken our sky as to leave His covenant [divine promise] without a witness; and even if He did, we would trust Him, since He cannot change, or lie, or in any other way fail to keep His covenant of peace. Until the waters go over the earth again, we shall have no reason for doubting our God.
Prayer: Thank you that there will always be a rainbow for the faithful to see, reminding us of your mercy and protection in every trial in Jesus Christ name, Amen.

… and pray for souls to be saved and believers to be strengthened
The Lord … is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
Pray also that believers will be led… led by the Holy Spirit to rightly divide and proclaim God’s Word providentially protected and preserved by God, Himself.
John 3:16:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in Heaven. Psalm 119:89
God is not the author of confusion. 1 Corinthians 4:33
God, Himself, providentially protects and preserves His WORD. All of His Word is inspired, [God-breathed], self-authenticating, immutable [unchanging and unchangeable], eternal, inerrant, infallible, infinite and all-powerful [omnipotent] Word.

MORNING January 11th "THESE HAVE NO ROOT."— Luke 8:13
- Éstos no tienen raíces¾ Lucas 8:13
MY soul, examine yourself this morning by the light of this text. You have received the word with joy; your feelings have been stirred and a lively impression has been made; but, remember that to re¬ceive the word in the ear is one thing, and to receive Jesus into your very soul is quite another; superficial [unreliable, emotional] feeling is often joined to inward hardness of heart; and a lively impression of the word is not always a lasting one. In the parable, the seed in one case [instance] fell upon ground having a rocky bottom, covered over with a thin layer of earth; when the seed began to take root, its downward growth was hindered by the hard stone and therefore it spent its strength in pushing its green shoot aloft as high as it could, but having no inward moisture derived from root nourishment, it withered away.
Is this my case? [Is this me?] Have I been making a fair [good] show in the flesh [my lower nature] without having a corresponding inner [spiritual] life? Good growth takes place upwards and downwards at the same time. Am I rooted in sincere fidelity [single mindedness] and love to Jesus?
If my heart remains unsoftened and unfertilized by grace, the good seed may germinate for a season, but it must ultimately wither, [dry up] for it cannot flourish on a rocky, unbroken, unsanctified [selfish] heart. Let me dread [abhor and avoid] a godliness [that is] as rapid in growth and as wanting [weak] in endurance as Jonah's gourd. Let me count the cost of being a follower of Jesus.
Above all let me feel the energy of His Holy Spirit, and then I shall possess an abiding and enduring seed in my soul. If my mind remains as obdurate [obstinate] as it was by nature, the sun of trial will scorch, and my hard heart will cast the heat all the more terribly upon the ill-covered [poorly planted] seed, and my religion [faith in Jesus] will soon die, and my despair will be terrible; therefore, O heavenly Sower, [Planter] plow me [prepare the soil of my heart] first, and then cast the truth into me, and
let me yield Thee a bounteous [overflowing] harvest.
EVENING: January 11th "I HAVE PRAYED FOR THEE.”— Luke 22:32
How encouraging is the thought of the Redeemer's never- ceasing intercession for us. When we pray, he pleads for us; and when we are not praying, he is advocating our cause, and by his supplications shielding us from unseen dangers. Notice the word of comfort addressed to Peter-"Simon, Simon, Satan hath desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat; but"-what? "But go and pray for yourself." That would be good advice, but it is not so written. Neither does he say, "But I will keep you watchful, and so you shall be preserved." That were a great blessing. No, it is, "But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not." We little know what we owe to our Savior's prayers. When we reach the hill-tops of heaven, and look back upon all the way whereby the Lord our God hath led us, how we shall praise him who, before the eternal throne, undid the mischief which Satan was doing upon earth. How shall we thank him because he never held his peace, but day and night pointed to the wounds upon his hands, and carried our names upon his breastplate! Even before Satan had begun to tempt, Jesus had forestalled him and entered a plea in heaven. Mercy outruns malice. Mark, he does not say, "Satan hath desired to have you." He checks Satan even in his very desire, and nips it in the bud. He does not say, "But I have desired to pray for you." No, but "I have prayed for you: I have done it already; I have gone to court and entered a counterplea even before an accusation is made." O Jesus, what a comfort it is that thou hast pleaded our cause against our unseen enemies; countermined their mines, and unmasked their ambushes. Here is a matter for joy, gratitude, hope, and confidence.
Prayer: Thank You Lord Jesus that You have prayed for me.— Luke 22:32

A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER: January 11th
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am lost. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross to pay my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity in Hell. My nature and behavior has been sinful from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m sorry for each and every sin I have ever done and look to You to forgive them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, Lord Jesus, right now to save me. You died on the cross for me, as God’s sacrifice for my sin.
Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me, I trust You to be my Savior and Lord.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins. I want to follow You from now on.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross.
Thank you, Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was born and that You love me still
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is alive and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave.
Thank You for saving me heavenly Father and Holy Spirit for Your comfort and guidance in all things.
With all my heart, thank you Lord Jesus for saving me. In your name, I pray, Amen.

John Bunyan did not write nor hold to a world view of any kind. His inspired work, The Pilgrim’s Progress, known as the world’s most allegory, does not subscribe to any world view at all but proclaims God’s view on everything revealed and forever settled in Heaven Psalm 119:89 in The Holy Bible.
Bunyan merely, yet ardently believed God’s Word; That it is God-breathed [inspired by God], Self-authenticating, Providentially-protected and propagated immutable [unchanged and unchangeable] , inerrant [without error] , infallible [incapable of being mistaken or of being wrong], indestructible and eternal written Word from GOD Himself for ever settled in Heaven.

A SINNER’S PRAYER
________________________________________
PRAYER 2, Part 4 of 4
THANKS BE UNTO GOD

ANECDOTE 162: Death Like Going to Bed.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK January 11 FAITH SEES THE BOW [RAINBOW]

John 3:16:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but be having everlasting life.
This Translation is from the Textus Receptus (TR) [Received Text] and is an example of the overwhelming majority of extant Greek texts MT that is in substantial agreement in their text itself and avoids inferior, ambiguous and missing primary source texts of the variant codices Alexandrinus, Sinaiticus and Vaticanus. There is substantial disagreement and missing texts among these codices which do not agree with one another, are created from incomplete codices and introduce modern biblical criticism theory that embraces ambiguities, uncertainties and variant readings [interpretations]. These are found in a multitude of new English translations and contain doctrinal compromises that nuance-away or otherwise diminish the highest glory due to God Almighty. The TR is the original primary New Testament Greek source of the Authorized King James Translation. It’s the ONLY ENGLISH translation that comes directly from the Textus Receptus.

MORNING January 11
"These have no root."— Luke 8:13
EVENING: January 11 "I have prayed for thee.”— Luke 22:32
How encouraging is the thought of the Redeemer's never- ceasing intercession for us. When we pray, he pleads for us; and when we are not praying, he is advocating our cause, and by his supplications shielding us from unseen dangers. Notice the word of comfort addressed to Peter-"Simon, Simon, Satan hath desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat; but"-what? "But go and pray for yourself." That would be good advice, but it is not so written. Neither does he say, "But I will keep you watchful, and so you shall be preserved." That were a great blessing. No, it is, "But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not." We little know what we owe to our Saviour's prayers.

A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER:

SACRED LITERATURE:
ORIGINAL: The Pilgrim’s Progress Pub. by Logos,1853 from 1678 Original by John Bunyan
REVISED TEXT by Barry E. Horner: The Pilgrim’s Progrefs [sic]...
in Pilgrim’s Progress. (Tthe World’s most widely circulated Allegory by John Bunyan, also credited, by some, as being the world’s first English novel.
IT’S FREE. No subscription required. You may choose to read at your own pace, or you may want to view DailySpugeon.com for daily encounters with Pilgrim.)
"Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me [Spurgeon's comment] of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melody] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus; it is our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.
