PRAYER 19, May 19th Part 9 of 11 GOD’S UNSPEAKABLE GIFT.
We ask that everywhere there may be great numbers added to the Church. Thou who didst [did] bring in five thousand so soon, bring in five thousand in many and many a place [now]. We read the statistics of Thy Church with great sorrow; how small an increase!
Lord multiply us with men as with a flock [of sheep] ; increase the people, and increase the joy. Make us to joy before Thee [in Your presence] as the joy of harvest.
[We ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.]

ANECDOTE 288: May 19th LOVING OUR NEIGHBORS.
It would be a good thing if some ladies loved their neighbors as much as they loved their lap-dogs [pets]. It would be a fine thing for many a country squire if he loved his neighbors as much as he loved his pack of hounds [hunting dogs]. I think it might be a high pitch of virtue, if some of you were to love your neighbors as much as you love some favorite animal [pet] in your house.
What an inferior grade of virtue [inordinate affection], however, that appears to be! And yet it were [would be] something far superior to what some of you have attained to.
You do not love your neighbor as you love your house, your estate, or your purse [money]. How high then is,
“ Love thy neighbor as thy self”, the gospel standard?
How much does a man love himself? None of us too little, some of us too much. Thou mayest [you may] love thyself as much as thou pleasest [please] , but take care that thou lovest [you love] thy neighbor [just] as much.
I am certain thou needest [you need] no exhortation to love thyself, thine own case will be seen to, thine own comfort will be a very primary theme of thine anxiety [fussing about regarding every detail that affects you]. Thou wilt [you will] line [feather] thine own nest well with [a feather-bed of] downy feathers, if thou canst. There is no need to exhort thee to love thyself.
Thou wilt do that well enough. Well, then, as much as thou lovest [you love] thyself
LOVE THY NEIGHBOR.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK May 19th WE MAY SPEAK FOR GOD
by C.H. Spurgeon 1834 -1892
-Therefore, thus saith [says] the Lord, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shall stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth- Jeremiah 15:19
-Por tanto asi dijo Jehova: Si te convirtieres,[vuelves] yo te repondré, y delante de mí estarás; y si sacares lo precioso de lo vil, serás como mi boca- Jeremías 15:19
Poor Jeremiah! Yet why do we say so? The weeping prophet was one of the choicest servants of God, and honored by Him above many.
He was hated for speaking the truth.
The word which was so sweet to him was bitter to his hearers, yet
he was accepted of his Lord.
He was commanded to abide in his faithfulness, and then the Lord would continue to speak through him. He was to deal boldly and truthfully with men, and perform the Lord’s winnowing work [separating the wheat from the chaff] upon the professors [those who professed, claimed to have faith in God] of his day, and then the Lord gave him this word,
-Thou shalt [shall] be as my mouth.-
What an honor! Should not every preacher, yea, every believer, covet [desire with the greatest possible desire] this?
For God to speak by us, what a marvel! We shall speak sure, pure truth; and we shall speak it with power.
Our word shall not return void;
it shall be a blessing to those who receive it, and those who refuse it shall do so at their peril.
Our lips shall feed many. We shall arouse [wake] the sleeping and call the dead to life. O dear reader,
pray that it may be so with all the sent servants of our Lord.
Prayer: Thank You Lord that if we repent, You will bring us back to stand before You, and if we take the precious from the vile, we may speak as Your mouth. May we rely and depend completely on You for this. Empower us to proclaim Your Word as we take the precious from the vile. I ask this In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

MORNING May 19th I HAVE SEEN SERVANTS UPON HORSES, AND PRINCES WALKING AS SERVANTS UPON THE EARTH. —Ecclesiastes 10:7
Vi siervos en caballos, y príncipes que andaban como siervos sobre la tierra. — Eclesiastés 10:7
UPSTARTS [posers, braggarts and pretenders] frequently usurp [falsely presume, steal and exercise privileges to] the highest [best] places [for themselves], while the truly great, pine (scroll to entry 2, verb) [implies languishing or an unsatisfied longing] in obscurity.
This is a riddle in providence whose solution will one day gladden the hearts of the upright; but it is so common a fact, that none of us should murmur if it should fall to our own lot [come to us].
When our Lord was on earth, although He is the Prince of the kings of the earth, yet He walked the foot path of weariness and service as the Servant of servants: what wonder is it if His followers, who are princes of the blood, should also be looked down on as inferior and contemptible persons?
The world is upside down, and therefore, the first are last and the last first. See how the servile [servant] sons of Satan lord it [over others] in the earth?
WHAT A HIGH HORSE THEY RIDE!
How they lift up their horn on high [blow their own horn]!
Haman [King Ahasuerus’ prime minister as recorded in the Book of Esther] is in the court, while Mordecai sits at the gate;
David [chosen of God to succeed King Saul] wanders on the mountains, while Saul reigns in state;
Elijah is complaining in the cave while Jezebel [despicable, pagan queen] is boasting in the palace;
Yet who would wish to take the places of the proud rebels and
who, on the other hand, might not envy the despised saints?
When the wheel [table of providence] turns those who are lowest rise, and the highest sink.
Patience, believer; eternity will right the wrongs of time.
Let us not fall into the error of letting our passions and carnal [fleshly] appetites ride in triumph, while our nobler powers walk in the dust.
Grace must reign as a prince, and make the members of the body instruments of righteousness.
The Holy Spirit loves order, and He therefore sets our powers and faculties in due rank and place, giving the highest room to those spiritual faculties which link us with the great King [Jesus].
Let us not disturb the divine arrangement,
but ask for grace that we may keep our body under subjection.
We were not new created [born again] to allow our passions to rule over us, but that
we, as kings, may reign in Christ Jesus over the triple kingdom of our spirit, soul, and body.

EVENING May 19th "AND HE REQUESTED FOR HIMSELF THAT HE MIGHT DIE. " —1 1 Kings 19:4
—Deseando morirse — 1 Reyes 19:4
IT was a remarkable thing that the man [Elijah] who was never to die, for whom God had ordained an infinitely better lot, the man who should be carried to heaven in a chariot of fire and be translated that he would not see death, would thus pray,
"Let me die; I am no better than my fathers."
We have here a memorable proof that God does not always answer prayer in kind, [based on what we ask for] though He always does, in effect [according to His goodness, kindness, grace and mercy].
He gave Elijah something better than what he asked for, and thus
really heard and answered him.
Strange it was that the lion-hearted Elijah should be so depressed by Jezebel's threat as to ask to die, and blessedly kind was it on the part of our heavenly Father that He did not take his desponding servant at his word.
There is a limit to the doctrine of the prayer of faith. We are not to expect that God will give us everything we choose to ask for.
We know that we sometimes ask, and do not receive,
because we ask amiss.
If we ask for that which is not promised, if we run counter to the spirit the Lord would have us cultivate, if we ask contrary to His will, or to the decrees of His providence, if we ask merely for the gratification of our own ease and without an eye to His glory,
we must not expect to receive.
Yet, when we ask in faith, nothing doubting, if we receive not the precise thing asked for, we shall receive an equivalent, and more than an equivalent, for it.
As one remarks,
"If the Lord does not pay in silver, He will [pay] in gold; and if He does not pay in gold, He will in diamonds."
If He does not give you precisely what you ask for, He will give you something that is tantamount to it, and that you will greatly rejoice to receive in lieu thereof [instead of what you asked for].
Be then, dear reader, much in prayer and make this evening a season of earnest intercession,
but take heed [consider with care and wisdom] what you ask.

This video presents historical evidence explaining the explosion of over 100 published English versionsof the Bible. This continuing attempt to replace, add or take away from the 1769 King James Version of the Holy Bible do notprevail because GOD Himself preserves and protects His Holy Scripture from all heresy, blasphemy, confusion and error.
Note: The King James Version does follow the Greek text of the Textus Receptus, but a Greek Text fabricated by Westcott and Hort and is therefore inferior to the trustworthy 1769 [1611] King James Version, theKJV!

Jesus Christ [Messiah] (Anointed King)] the LORD GOD was born of a virgin 2025 years ago, was crucified, then rose from the dead, victorious over sin, death and the grave and is here in the flesh from GOD as His Church, The Body of Christ and will live forever, time without end and He, Himself, is coming again.
_____________________________________________
*A.D. Does NOT mean after death as is commonly believed. It is a Latin abbreviation
for anno Domani (It means “Year of our Lord”.
BC/AD versus BCE/CE Is there a difference?
Yes. Stand for the Truth, Won’t you?
Jesus Christ [Messiah] (Anointed King)] the LORD GOD was born of a virgin 2025 years ago, was crucified, then rose from the dead, victorious over sin, death and the grave and is here in the flesh from GOD as His Church, The Body of Christ and will live forever, time without end and He, Himself, is coming again.
A.D. did not and does NOT mean “After Death” as many erroneously now think. It actually abbreviates Anno Domini, a Latin phrase adopted into English that literally means “Year of our Lord”. It has been used together with B.C. Before Christ for centuries.
B.C.E is not a synonym for B.C. (Before Christ)] It is not the same thing. Not even close.
B.C.E. / C.E or B.C. /A.D. What’s the difference?
B.C.E. (BEFORE COMMON ERA [or BEFORE CURRENT ERA] ― Anything to avoid all reference or mention of anything CHRISTIAN by atheist and anti-Christians and to remove A.D. [Anno Domini] and B.C. [Before Christ] from being used.
The argument here, claims to have a neutral point of view that would remove all reference to Jesus Christ by omitting the use of A.D Ano Domini and B.C. Before ChristThis argument brings forward a faulty if not egregious hypothesis. Without consideration of a person’s religious views analysis of the hypothesis of a neutral point of view (NPOV) must be made.
What is A NEUTRAL point of view? Such a fool’s errand would argue that a point of view could set forth a valid, genuine, authentic and simultaneously be neutral. What? This defies logic. A neutral point of view, were it possible, is no point of view at all. Rather, it’s illogical and by applying simple common sense, impossible. Anytime a point of view is combined, confused or blended with another one so that the properties are clouded, weakened or confused the actual definite and certain POV is lost and any rational adherence or support for it is now moot. A Neutral point of view exists only in the imagination of those who prefer confusion to a true, authentic, genuine, robust and proven point of a verifiable fact.
A neutral point of view, were it possible, would be, at best, illogical, unattainable, indefensible and irresponsible. The king of oxymorons.
Therefore, the mere consideration of an imagined but impossible and unattainable neutral point of view (NPOV) is ludicrous. A point of view cannot be NEUTRAL. An authentic point of view cannot be neutral, or ambiguous, but must clearly advance a singular, definite and certain point of view (POV). It cannot be both a POV and neutral. A neutral point of view is a logical impossibility. A neutral (POV), were it possible, would ignore the historical fact of Jesus Christ’s birth. The pretense of seeking a neutral point of view is therefore misleading and disingenuous.
The Lord Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh,
was born of a virgin 2025 years ago.
He’s alive today, has always existed as God’s eternal and everlasting Word,
and will soon return for his bride, the Church
[The body of all redeemed believers in Jesus Christ].
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: for I am God and there is none else.
You are invited to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord and to follow Him in believer’s baptism.
Jesus came from Galilee to Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Do it] now: for thus it becometh us [is beautifully fitting and expected of us] to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not a requirement for salvation but it is the willing desire of all believers to demonstrate agreement and consistency with the righteousness of preaching Repentance and Baptism by John the Baptist and obedience to the scriptural teaching. The issue of baptism is therefore not an issue of salvation but of obedience and of fulfilling all righteousness.
Worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth will spring-up and be manifested in a sense of gratitude. Such worship can come through prayer, Bible reading, scriptural meditation and study. Fellowship in a local church body, hearing gospel preaching and singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs are also acts of worship and reflects an active discipleship.
To this purpose, DailySpurgeon, is offered as a reliable, dependable and effective resource.
It is not intended, were it possible to take the place of fellowship or congregational worship in a local body of believers.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [accurately comprehending and sharing] the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
Trusting in and following the Lord Jesus Christ is our chief purpose. We trust Him for salvation, guidance, strength and our eternal destiny according to His perfect will. We follow Him in soul winning through DailySpurgeon or any other instrumentality He may choose. We invite and encourage non-believers to turn away from sin, look to Him and be saved. We trust that believers (old and new) will benefit from its use knowing that He will sustain, guide and build us up as we are conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.

SERMON: The Metropolitan Tabernacle (Charles Spurgeon 1834-1892)
The Strategy of Resurrection John Ch. 20 with Dr. Peter Masters, Pastor
It is clear the resurrection was completely unexpected by the disciples. Here is how it came, first by gentle intimation, then with a caution, then as a proof of Christ's successful atonement, and then as a command to trust in the living Lord.
Mission and Invitation
The aim of this work is to save souls, strengthen and encourage believers in the Word, proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ as we serve those in need. We believe the Bible is God’s revealed Word and that through His Word He guides us as individuals and as a local body of believers. We are resolved, God helping us, to study, meditate and pray to rightly divide God’s revealed Word holding it as the final authority in all things.
The purpose of The John Mark Publishing Company is to make known the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ to every creature. We aim to love the brethren, win souls, and build-up of the Body of Christ, [The Universal Church of true believers]. We purpose to publish the Good News of Jesus Christ and to proclaim (preach) HIM everywhere. We purpose also to serve everyone, especially those in the household of faith..
We believe the Bible is God’s everlasting, inspired (God breathed) Word. By His Word He guides us individually and corporately through His local Church.
God’s Word [The Bible] is the driving essence of all our work. To this end we annotate and reprint, unabridged, the sermons and publications from The Holy Bible that were preached and taught through Charles Haddad Spurgeon.

Can You trust this website?
Is it of God?
Is it trustworthy?
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everything you hear] but [continually] be testing the spirit whether it is of God: because many false prophets have come out in the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesseth [confesses, says] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come out of God, is of God: and every spirit [voice] that confesseth not [doesn't confess] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Hence, I confess [declare and affirm] "Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh."

GOD’S WORD made Flesh has existed from eternity past [FOREVER] as the WORD of God. John 1:1-2
And He was born of a virgin 2,024 years ago in Bethlehem, the WORD made flesh,
is alive today, and is coming soon for His *bride, the Church
[*All redeemed believers].
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Let me invite you to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and to publicly confess [declare] Him as such before men [publicly]. He will therefore be able to acknowledge and confess you before His Father in Heaven. He is The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Following your public confession, You also invited to follow Him in believer’s baptism by immersion.
Jesus came from Galilee t o Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist. But, John forbad [refused] Him and said, “I have need to be baptized of You and [yet] you are coming to me?” [for baptism] And Jesus answering him said, “Suffer it to be so [Allow this]: for thus it becometh [is fitting and right for] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, what Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and said to him:
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And then, Jesus said to him:
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and the believer’s new birth.
It bears witness with John the Baptist who preached that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and exhorted Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but it is an act of obedience to fulfil all righteousness.
Romans 6:3-5:
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.

Rather, it is a resource that may be useful in developing a more active personal discipleship and a more fervent personal devotion to the Lord.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [analyzing and sharing] the word of truth.”
We thank thee Lord for providing dailyspurgeon.com to expand the e-mail ministry that was begun with Jon Edward Riley 1971-2021 and his Dad, John Michael.
We honor Jon’s memory here, giving honor to those whom honor is due; those who honor the Lord Jesus. Romans 13:7
Jon loved to give this testimony: “I’m a blood bought, born-again child of God.”
… his testimony as a forgiven, redeemed sinner, now and forevermore a child of God and forever accepted in the Beloved Savior, Jesus Christ The Messiah., \ in the Glory of His presence now, and forever. Amen.

Jesus Christ [Messiah- Anointed King] has always existed, from eternity past [FOREVER] as the WORD of God.
You’re invited to receive the Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah] as your Savior and Lord and to publicly confess your trust in Him so He will then be able to acknowledge you before His Father, The God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob. Jesus answered him and said, “Suffer it to be so [to let this happen]: for thus it becometh [is in accord with] us to fulfil all righteousness.”
Baptism is not required for salvation. Remember, Jesus said to the thief on the cross, who acknowledged Jesus’ innocence and said to him.
“Remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And Jesus said to him,
“Verily [Truly] I say to you, Today you shall be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
The act of Baptism pictures the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection and the believer’s death to self, burial, and resurrection to walk in newness of life.
It bears witness to the preaching of John the Baptist who preached that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and exhorted Repentance from sin and the Baptism of atonement. Therefore, the act of baptism is not required for salvation but as John preached it is is to be followed to fulfil all righteousness
This website is not intended, were it possible, to take the place of the personal and physical gathering of believers fellowship or congregational worship in local bodies of believers.

Thank You LORD for dailyspurgeon.com a website that proclaims Jesus, the Christ [Messiah and Anointed King] to all the world .
This website ministry grew from a beginning of sending e-mails from Charles Spurgeon’s Faith’s Checkbook a book of daily promises from Scripture to John Michael’s son, Jon Edward Riley (1971- 2021). When Jon shared them with others, they asked to be added to this mailing list. This mailing list grew to over 400 and continues to be used in the distribution of the website content Our prayer is that it will continue to encourage followers of Jesus Christ in vigorous personal devotions of Love, obedience and oneness with Jesus Christ through the study of and obedience to GOD’S WORD empowered by the Holy Ghost.
Devotional contents by Charles Spurgeon are brought together daily at dailyspurgeon.com
These devotional contents were written and calendared by Charles Spurgeon over 200 years ago yet continue to have a significant relevance today.
We pray that many lost souls will be born-again and then be built-up in the Faith of Jesus Christ. May God sustain, guide and protect this ministry begun with John Michael’s beloved son, Jon Edward Riley (1971-2021) honored here as one to whom honor is due.
Jon Edward loved to say,
“I’m a blood-bought, born-again child of God.”

Is dailyspurgeon.com trustworthy?
Is it true? Is it of God?
We should apply the following Scripture to everything we hear/read to discern whether what we are hearing or reading is of God and therefore whether or not it should be believed.
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [word] you hear but be testing the spirits [words] whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Here’s how you know if it is the Spirit [voice] of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come from God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore beloved, we must test every voice [written or spoken] to discern whether it is from God or not. By applying these scripture verses we can determine with certainty if the scriptural standard that protects believers from believing false prophets has been met. We can thereby identify false witnesses and determine not to believe or follow them. The voice [spirit] being tested should not be believed unless it confesses [states] that…
“Jesus Christ is here, in the flesh having come from God .”
Two Greek manuscripts that were cobbled together by Westcott & Hort and Nestle & Aland do not make this confession nor do they follow the Textus Receptus rendered from 5,321 extant Greek manuscripts, which agree overwhelmingly with each other known as as the Majority Text. The 5,321 Majority Text is the source from which the trusted Textus Receptus was rendered.
Instead, these two purveyors of Greek texts used their own Greek translations that they invented by hand picking only 55 of the 5,321extant Greek manuscripts. When these 55 Manuscripts did not contain the text being translated, they inserted their own invented and unfounded Greek text.
Their invented Greek translation presented variant readings different than the Textus Receptus [Received Text] in many places. One example from 1 John, Chapter 4 where all English translations other than the King James version overlook the original Greek verb “ictin” [To be] [is] (third person singular) that is translated in substantially all Majority Texts MT and subsequently in the Textus Receptus [Received Text] and therefore have failed to correctly translate the Greek verb as, “Is come” [Is here]. (correctly Translated from the Textus Receptus [Received Text (TR)] in the King James Version)
This error occurs because the modern critical Greek text, created by Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland DO NOT follow the MT [Majority Texts] of 5,321 Greek manuscripts that affirm substantial agreement with one another. The TR [Textus Receptus] is rendered from an overwhelming agreement found among the Majority Text of 5,321 primary Greek manuscript sources.
Both Westcott & Hort and Nestles & Alland ignore the verb “is”, from their invented Greek text and place “has come” instead.
This error may be legally described as res ipsa loquitur a latin phrase that means “the thing speaks for itself”.
Therefore, the Greek inventions generated by these two sources are not actually translations, even though they are introduced as translations, but actually represent their own Greek language inventions unsupported by the reliability of the Majority Texts and the Textus Receptus.
How do we know?
We know because both non-believers and false prophets assert that Jesus Christ
“has come” in the flesh. Practically anyone can make this confession as the birth of Jesus Christ is considered by historians to be the most well documented fact in all of human history.
That He has come is generally acknowledged by nonbelievers and believers alike. However, here’s the point. There is a huge difference in meaning between “Has come” and “Is Here”. “Has come” is woefully short of the essential and clear meaning of the confession “Is Here”.
Just because something “has come” it can not be assumed, inferred or deduced that it also “is here”.
The “has come” assertion is made in all translations based on the Critical Text. It’s not, per se, a false statement. Jesus Christ has indeed come in the flesh. However, it falls short of presenting the test to discern whether the sprit [voice] being tested [tried] is from God or from false prophets or teachers that come in the spirit of antichrist.
Again, the expression “has come” rather than “is come” [is here] is not, per se, a false statement.
However, it fails to deliver a valid way to discern, true from false. The failure here to establish a logical and rhetorically sound rubric to judge the question of whether spirits [words] are from God or from false prophets and the spirit of antichrist is absent if “has come” is the standard used.
Actually, “has come” is such a wide-spread belief held to be historically true by all, yet, it does not provide a sound standard to discern whether a spirit [spoken or written words] are from God or the spirit of Antichrist.
Almost anyone [or any spirit] can declare that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But as you see, this does not resolve the issue of whether something should or should not be believed as true or followed. Why? Once again, because almost anyone can and often does confess that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh. But, his is an insufficient standard. The standard must be whether the confession that Jesus is here alone, gives an efficacious standard to discern truth from error.
Again, while it is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, this alone is inadequate to discern truth from error. “Has come” does not mean the same thing as “is come [is here], from God, in the flesh” and therefore fails to be efficacious for true spiritual discernment.
Further, as we compare Scripture with scripture in 1 John 4:1-3 and Ephesians 5:30-32
we comprehend God’s message regarding the body of Jesus Christ being in the Flesh vis-à-vis The Body of Christ, The Corporate Church.
Compare Scripture with Scripture: 1 John 4:1-3 with Ephesians 5:30-32
1 John 4:1-3 Authorized (King James) Version
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Ephesians 5:30-32
Authorized (King James) Version
30 for we are members of his [Jesus Christ’s] body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
[So, we are flesh and bone members of His body, We are] one flesh with Him, The Body of Christ is (In the flesh); and is the incarnate Body of believers.
He was born of a virgin 2026 years ago and He’s alive today.
He’s coming again soon, for His bride; the Church [Blood-bought, Born-again members of His body].
When a believer considers the fact that they are members of the body of Christ [The Church] , they will see and acknowledge that…
“Jesus Christ is here, in the flesh,” because We are the Body of Christ; The Church, in the flesh!
Amen.

THE BEST BIBLE TRANSLATION:
Why KING JAMES is Best by Steven Houck
Even though [it is said that the] King James Version has its weaknesses, it is an excellent translation and by far the best version available today. We must not be taken in by the modern versions and their claims. Our 400 years old Bible is to be preferred above all others because it is better than them all.
1) It was translated by men who are unsurpassed in their knowledge of Biblical studies.
2) The translators were pious men of God who believed in the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures.
3) It is the mature fruit of generations of English translations as well as the careful work of its translators.
4) The King James Version is based upon the Received Text rather than the critical Greek text of modern versions. [vis. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.]
5) It is a word-for-word translation which faithfully and accurately reflects the originals [of the Majority Texts, MT].
6) The language is one of reverence and respect which gives honor [and greater glory] to the majesty of its Author.
7) Of all the English versions of today, it alone is the Bible of the Reformation.
8) Our spiritual forefathers thought so highly of it that they were willing to suffer and even die for it.
9) It is the version which has been recognized for generations and generations as the Bible God has given to His English-speaking Church.
The 10th reason why it is best is added here by DailySpurgeon.com
10) The 1611 KJV is the work of 54 translators selected and organized into seven companies. (2), from Westminster (2), from Cambridge, (2), from Oxford and (1) from London. The work was done openly allowing each company to receive inquiries or comments during the course of the work. When an issue of disagreement arose, it was addressed in Prayer and discussion was continued until the difference was resolved unanimously and without objection.

Commitment to the Word of God
Long before the Conservative Resurgence, Dr. R.G. Lee was the Southern Baptist champion of biblical infallibility and inerrancy. In his sermon, “The Word of God – Not Broken and Not Bound,” first published in 1930, Dr. Lee proclaimed, “All who wrote are immortalized by their writing of this great Book [The Holy Bible],
… “supernatural in origin, divine in authorship, human in penmanship, infallible in authority, infinite in scope, universal in interest, personal in application, regenerative in power, inspired [God breathed] in totality.”
Dr Robert G. Lee preached a sermon (click here) Payday Someday over 1,000 times and was the Senior Pastor of one of the first Megachurches, Bellevue Baptist Church, Memphis, Tennessee,

The Pilgrim Progress is the world’s most widely published and most famous Allegory . It was commonly found among he scant possessions in the cabins of the early American Pioneers. It was loved and read, second only to the Holy Bible, God’s Word, of guidance, encouragement and comfort. It’s also considered, by some, to be the world’s first English novel and is the most published book of all time. other than the Bible. There were 1,300 editions printed before 1938, 250 years after the author's death. It remains one of the world’s most famous books. In allegorical genre, it is unequalled.
Pilgrim’s Progress is referenced in many Spurgeon Sermons.
Here's one example:
“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”—Colossians 1:27
Note: Spurgeon was taught to read at a very early age and read The Pilgrim’s Progress for the first time when he was six years old. He would return to re-read it over 100 times. He made many reference to it in his sermons as Pastor of The Metropolitan Tabernacle in London.
Excerpt from Sermon: II. § 5 THE SWEETNESS OF THIS MYSTERY, WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU
"Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me [Spurgeon] of Mr. Bunyan’s picture in The Pilgrim’s Progress. of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams [ancient weapons of war] had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melodies], for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart [main castle] he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus; it is our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.

Index of the 533 Scripture References cited in The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan 1687
John Bunyan did not write or set forth any world view of any kind. His masterful allegory, demonstrably displays that God's Word does not support a world view at all but sets forth God’s view on every thing revealed and forever settled in heaven, The Holy Bible.
________________________________________
Bunyan merely, yet ardently, trusted in God’s Word; the God-breathed [divinely inspired], Self-authenticating, Providentially-protected immutable, inerrant, infallible, and inextinguishable written Word from GOD Himself. God, the omnipotent, omnipresent, righteous and Holy One, has breathed out His Word and has made His Word flesh in the birth of Jesus Christ. God’s Word is now, has always been and will forever be in perfect accord with Himself and the Spirit of Truth.
God’s infinite Love and Grace to redeem all fallen, hell-bound sinners who will look to Him is revealed by the sacrifice of His only begotten [fathered by God] Son, Jesus Christ.
The story inspiration given to Bunyan was in the form of a dream. Never the less, it imparts wisdom and may encourage soul-searching self-reflection to all pilgrims who seek redemption and eternal life. Many scripture references will be captured and remembered from its reading [listening].

PRAYER 19, Part 9 of 11
GOD’S UNSPEAKABLE GIFT.
We ask that everywhere there may be great numbers added to the Church. Thou who didst [did] bring in five thousand so soon, bring in five thousand in many and many a place [now]. We read the statistics of Thy Church with great sorrow; how small an increase!
Lord multiply us with men as with a flock; increase the people, and increase the joy. Make us to joy before Thee [in Your presence] as the joy of harvest.
[We ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.]

Thou mayest [may] love thyself as much as thou pleasest [please] , but take care that thou lovest [love] thy neighbor [just] as much.
I am certain thou needest [need] no exhortation to love thyself, thine own case will be seen to, thine own comfort will be a very primary theme of thine anxiety [fussing about regarding every detail that affects you]. Thou wilt [will] line [prepare] thine own nest well with [a feather-bed of] downy feathers, if thou canst. There is no need to exhort thee to love thyself.
Thou wilt do that well enough. Well, then, as much as thou lovest [love] thyself
love thy neighbor.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK MAY 19 WE MAY SPEAK FOR GOD C.H.
Our word shall not return void;
it shall be a blessing to those who receive it, and those who refuse it shall do so at their peril.

MORNING May 19
I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
This is a riddle in providence whose solution will
one day gladden the hearts of the upright; but it is so common a fact, that none of us should murmur if it should fall to our own lot [come to us].
Haman [King Ahasuerus’ prime minister as recorded in the Book of Esther] is in the court, while Mordecai sits at the gate;
David [chosen of God to succeed King Saul] wanders on the mountains, while Saul reigns in state;
Elijah is complaining in the cave while Jezebel [despicable, pagan queen] is boasting in the palace; yet
who would wish to take the places of the proud rebels and
who, on the other hand, might not envy the despised saints?
When the wheel [table of providence] turns those who are lowest rise, and the highest sink.
Patience, believer; eternity will right the wrongs of time.
Let us not fall into the error of letting our passions and carnal [fleshly] appetites ride in triumph, while our nobler powers walk in the dust.
Grace must reign as a prince, and make the members of the body instruments of righteousness.
The Holy Spirit loves order, and He therefore sets our powers and faculties in due rank and place, giving the highest room to those spiritual faculties which link us with the great King [Jesus].
Let us not disturb the divine arrangement, but ask
for grace that we may keep our body under subjection [fit and holy].
We were not new created [born again] to allow our passions to rule over us, but that
we, as kings, may reign in Christ Jesus over the triple kingdom of our spirit, soul, and body.

EVENING May 19
"And he requested for himself that he might die. " —1 Kings 19:4

A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER WILL: [For One and all]
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am hopeless. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross for my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity condemned to Hell. I have been self-centered from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m guilty and sorry for each and every sin I have done and look to You to forgive me of them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, Lord Jesus, right now to save me. You died on the cross for me, because of my sin and You say, “It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21.
Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me, I trust You, to be my Lord and Savior from now on.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins. I ask You to abide in me and give me the desire to always follow You.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross. Even the sins of the whole world.
Thank you, Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me even before I was born and that You still love me now. I love You too.
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You have called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [Holy Ghost, Comforter, Spirit of Truth]

Prayer: Lord Jesus, please be blessed by the winning of many souls, and give us love and compassion toward all who are in need, especially those in the household of faith. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and for His sake, Amen.
Disclaimer: The John Mark Publishing Company does not praise or exalt Charles H. Spurgeon above or beyond the honor due him. He didn’t need or want it when he was here on earth and would have no need or desire for it now, in Heaven. Our aim is to lift up and glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and to preach HIM and Him crucified.
Precaution: These Devotional Messages and prayers alone will not substitute for continual fellowship with the Lord Jesus. Neither do they replace personal reading, meditation, prayer and fasting over God's divinely preserved and eternal Word. (The King James version (KJV), also known also as the Authorized Version (AKJV), is the preferred English Bible because its accuracy and fidelity to the Greek Textus Receptus [received text] and the Hebrew Masoretic Text) avoid doctrinal and editorial weakness found in many contemporary editions.
Written Prayers by Spurgeon must not be offered as a substitute for personal, intimate fervent, heart-felt, prayer. They are rather intended to warm the hearts of those who are seeking a season of authentic two-way, heart-to-heart fellowship and prayer with the Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit. The Authorized King James Bible

The above link is to search for specific words or Scripture references in the King James Bible (KJV) inerrant and infallible English Bible because it is providentially protected and preserved by GOD Himself through the only translation into English by faithful brethren from the established majority text MT from which the Greek Textus Receptus [received text] manuscripts of the New Testament was taken and the Hebrew Masoretic Text of the Old Testament (Jewish Tanakh). These manuscripts are providentially protected, and frequently give greater glory to God when compared to variant readings of all modern translations from Modern Critical Texts based on inferior Greek manuscripts.
The established majority manuscripts avoid doctrinal error, inaccuracies in translation, uninspired editorial notations, variant or ambiguous readings taken from Codices Vaticanus, or Sinaiticus.
Copyright: The King James Version is distinguished by the requirement of Great Brittan that all King James bibles be printed by the Cambridge University Press, the Crown’s authorized printer. No one other than the Crown’s printer, is allowed print, copy or import the King James Bible into Great Brittan by order of the Crown.
In the United States there is no Copyright protection and the KJV is deemed Public Domain. If a new publication changes at least a 10% of an existing publication a lucrative Copyright can be granted. Therefore the NKJV and many other copyrighted translations. Only the King James Version New Testament is unique from among the over 100 English translations that follow modern textual criticism and only the King James is translated from the superior Greek Textus Receptus as its Primary time tested and self-authenticating Greek text Source.

Brooke Foss Westcott and Fenton John Anthony Hort (Text only)
URL: https://www.febc.edu.sg/v15/article/def_the_INSIDE STORY_of_westcott_and_hort
In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:
* Letters from close relatives are quoted in the Inside Story above
The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,
thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on a defective text. Those who want to honor the Word of God must not promote the use of any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved without error unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it would be to Him if His people now chose instead to use versions that are based on defective Greek manuscript created by Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland.
Let the biblical story of Nadab and Abihu be a lesson for us all:
And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace. And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp. So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said. And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled” (Lev 10:1–6).
