     “OUR Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

            We fear that we often begin our prayer with petitions for ourselves, and put our daily bread [agenda] before Thy kingdom, and the pardoning of our sins before the hallowing of Thy name.  We would not do so today.

    --but  guided by our Lord’s model of prayer, we would first pray for Thy glory; and here, great God, we would adore Thee [want to give pure love and adoration to You]. Thou hast [You have] made us and not we ourselves. We are Thy [Your] people, and the sheep of Thy [Your] pasture.  [May] All glory be unto Thee [You], Jehovah, the only living and true God.  With heart and mind, and memory and fear, and hope and joy, we worship [You] the Most High [God]. It well becomes us to put our shoes from off our feet [take off our shoes] when we draw near to God, for the place whereon we stand is holy ground. If God in the [burning] bush demanded the un-sandaled foot [bare feet] of the prophet [Moses], how much more shall God in Christ Jesus [demand it]?

             When great commanders are known to have come into a camp what a thrill of joy it causes among their trusty warriors. When the soldiers have been much dejected it has been whispered in their tents   “The king has come to marshal us, [to direct us personally] Dressed in all his armor,” and from that moment every man has cheered up. At the sight of the king as he comes riding into the camp the host [army] raises a great shout. What means it? [What does the shout mean?] It is a shout of loyal love they are glad to welcome their leader. So is it with us when we sing “The King himself comes near,” we are all as glad as glad can be. Those who cannot come out to see their prince, because they are lying on their sick beds in hospital, clap their hands, while even the little children in their mother’s arms join in the general joy.

       “The king is come, [is Here] ”  say they, and his presence kindles their enthusiasm till they make the hills ring again. You know how the stern Ironsides [Cromwell’s soldiers] felt when Cromwell came along; every man was a hero when he led the way. They were ready for any adventure, no matter how difficult, as long as their great chief was there. That enthusiasm which was inspired by Alexander, and by Napoleon, and by other great commanders, is the earthly image of the spiritual fervor felt by the church when the Lord Jesus vouchsafes [guarantees] to be in the midst of it.

OPEN DOOR OF COMMUNION

-I have set before thee [placed before you]  an open door, and no man can shut it  -Revelation 3:8  
 

           Saints who remain faithful to the truth of God have an open door before them. My soul,  thou hast resolved to live and die by that which the Lord has revealed in His Word, and therefore before thee stands this open door. I will enter in by the open door of communion with God. Who shall say me nay?  [Who shall say No?] 

 

            Jesus has removed my sin, and given me His righteousness, therefore I may freely enter. Lord, I do so by thy grace. I have also before me an open door into the mysteries of the Word [the Holy Bible]. I may enter into the deep things of God. Election,  Union to Christ,  the Second Advent [second coming of Jesus Christ] … all these are before me, and I may enjoy them. No promise and no doctrine are now locked up against me. An open door of access is before me in private, and an open door of usefulness in public.

 

            God will hear me; God will use me.  A door is opened for my onward march to the church above, [in Heaven] and for my daily fellowship with saints below. [on earth]

      *Some may try to shut me up or shut me out, but all in vain.  Soon shall I see an open door into Heaven: the pearl gate will be my way of entrance, and then I shall go in unto my Lord and King, and be with God eternally shut in.

 

     Prayer: Thank You dear Lord that the open door You have set before me cannot be shut by anyone or anything.  I receive  this in your name, Lord Jesus. Amen.

                REVOLVE in your mind that wondrous word,  “faultless!”   We are far off from it now; but as our Lord never stops short of perfection in His work of love, we shall reach it one day. The Savior who will keep His people to the end, will also present them at last to Himself, as "a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but holy and without blemish."  All the jewels in the Savior's crown are of the first water [purest elements, highest quality and color] and without a single flaw. All the maids of honor who attend the Lamb's wife are pure virgins without spot or stain. But how will Jesus make us faultless?  

 

            He will wash us from our sins in His own blood until we are white and fair as God's purest angel; and we shall be clothed in His righteousness, that righteousness which makes the saint who wears it positively faultless; yea, perfect in the sight of God. We shall be unblameable and unreprovable even in His eyes. His law will not only have no charge against us, but it will be magnified in us. Moreover, the work of the Holy Spirit within us will be altogether complete. He will make us so perfectly holy, that we shall have no lingering tendency to sin. 
      Judgment, memory, will [volition, desire] — every power and passion will be emancipated from the bondage of evil. We will be holy even as God is holy, and in His presence we will dwell forever. Saints will not be out of place in heaven; their beauty will be as great as that of the place prepared for them. Oh the rapture of that hour when the everlasting doors shall be lifted up, and we, being made meet [suitable] for the inheritance, shall dwell with the saints in light. Sin gone, Satan shut out, temptation past forever, and ourselves  "faultless"  before God—this will be heaven indeed! Let us be joyful now as we rehearse the song of eternal praise so soon to roll forth in full chorus from all the bloodwashed host [army of believers] ; let us copy David's exultings [ feelings of great happiness and excitement] before the ark as a prelude to our ecstacies before the throne [of God].

            NOTE the glorious personality of the promise.   I will,    I will.    The Lord Jehovah Himself interposes to deliver and redeem His people. He pledges Himself personally to rescue them. His own arm shall do it, that He may have the glory. There is not a word said here of any effort of our own which may be needed to assist the Lord. Neither our strength, nor our weakness is taken into the account, but the lone I, like the sun in the heavens, shines out resplendent in all-sufficiency. Why then do we calculate our forces and consult with flesh and blood to our grievous wounding? Jehovah has power enough without borrowing from our puny [weak and skinny] arm. Peace, you unbelieving thoughts, be still, and

know that the Lord reigns.

 

            Nor is there a hint concerning secondary means and causes. The Lord says nothing of friends and helpers: He undertakes the work alone, and feels no need of human arms to aid Him.

 

            Vain [useless] are all our looking-arounds  to companions and relatives; they are broken reeds if we lean on them—often unwilling when able, and unable when they are willing. Since the promise comes alone from God, it would be well to wait only on Him; and when we do so, our expectation never fails us. Who are the wicked that we should fear them? 

 

            The Lord will utterly consume them; they are to be pitied rather than feared. As for terrible ones, they are terrors only to those who have no God to fly to, for when the Lord is on our side, whom shall we fear? 

 

           If we run into sin to please the wicked, we have cause to be alarmed, but if we hold fast our integrity, the rage of tyrants shall be overruled for our good. When the fish swallowed Jonah, he found him a morsel [Jonah] which he could not digest; and when the world devours the church, it is glad to be rid of it again [cannot digest it either]. In all times of fiery trial, in patience let us possess our souls [do right, and refuse to sin].

 

 A SINNER’S  PRAYER

Whosoever shall call on the name of the lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21

 Pray and call on the name of the Lord Jesus, like this. Won’t you? 

“Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner. I’m lost and hopeless to save myself. Without you and your blood that was shed for me and Your death on the cross  I would spend eternity in Hell’s fire.

Thank you Lord Jesus that You love me and died for me before I was born and that You have always loved me and will never reject or turn your back on me. I know You are the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one can come to the Father but by You.  

Thank you, Father that You have caused for me to see myself as I am; a lost sinner.  But,  because of Your love and goodness, You have made a way and given me the desire to come to You, to turn away from my sin and to trust in You, Lord Jesus.  You took my place on the cross and provided the way for  me to be forgiven. Thank You.
Thank You that You prompted a desire in me to believe in You, the only begotten  Son of God who died on the cross to be the sacrifice that would  atone for my sins.

Thank You, Father for Your love that allowed Jesus to suffer and die in my place. Thank You that You raised Jesus from the dead. He is RISEN and is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave and in Christ Jesus I am free.

You raised Jesus from the dead, gave Him a Glorified body and after he was seen by many witnesses on earth You took Him up to reign with You  in heaven.  

Thank you, Father,  for saving me in the name, of Your only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

God has preserved His Word in The Masoretic Hebrew of the Old Testament and the GreekTextus Receptus of the New Testament:
 

In contrast, the Incomplete and unsealed codices of Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are not translated from the  over 5,312 Majority Text Greek manuscripts, that became the Textus Receptus [Original Masoretic Hebrew and the Greek Textus Receptus]. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus present variant, ambiguous and erroneous readings rather than that of the well-established and settled texts. They disagree often with one another as well as with the settled majority texts. Thus, an attempt to create a pretext that will continue to justify a never-ending demand for additional editions and interpretations. These unsettled differences and bias in certain sectarian doctrine [dogma] have led to the production of multiple “modern” editions with ambiguities, many variant readings and confusion from the explosion of unending, new editions.

Profit-driven publishers have embraced such an economic windfall to sell a continual flow of “new and better” English edition of The Bible. They give too little attention to the fidelity and accuracy already settled [in heaven] in majority manuscripts of the Masoretic Hebrew and the  Greek Textus Receptus.

God, Himself, providentially protects and preserves His Word. His Word is the God-breathed, self-authenticating, immutable [unchanging and unchangeable], eternal, inerrant, infallible, infinite and all-powerful Word, settled in heaven. He is not the author of confusion.

The above link is to search for specific words or Scriptures in the King James inerrant and infallible  English Version  (KJV)  because it is providentially protected and preserved by GOD Himself through the only translation into English by faithful brethren from the 5,312 established majority text manuscripts MT from which the New Testament  Greek Textus Receptus [received text] was taken  and the Hebrew Masoretic Text of the Old Testament (Jewish Tanakh).  These manuscripts are providentially protected, and give greater glory to God when compared to the variant readings of all post KJV  translations. Modern Critical Texts are based on only 55 hand picked Greek manuscripts fabricated from either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. Both of these Greek textual sources make the assumption that OLDER IS BETTER. Of course, this assumption is not valid in any place   the older manuscripts err from the Textus Receptus..

 

The established majority manuscripts and the Textus Receptus avoid doctrinal error, and inaccuracies in translation, uninspired editorial notations, variant or ambiguous readings which taken from Codices Vaticanus, or Sinaiticus.

Copyright: The King James Version is also distinguished by the requirement of Great Brittan that all King James bibles be printed by the Cambridge University Press, the Crown’s authorized printer. No one other than the Crown’s printer, is allowed print, copy or import the King James Bible into Great Brittan by order of the Crown.

 

In the United States there is no Copyright protection to restrict the free printing of the KJV. It is the only Bible version that may be printed freely as Public Domain. Any  new publication that changes 10% or more of any existing  publication may procure a lucrative Copyright protection to restrict unauthorized printing of the new publication. Therefore,  the NKJV, NIV and many other modern  translations. In 1870, The Anglican Church of England passed a resolution to revise the English Bible. The New Testament revision committee which finally consisted of 25 scholars (though only about 16 eventually attended the meetings) which included Westcott and Hort. The committee worked for ten years in the Jerusalem chamber, and these two scholars swept the Revision Committee along with them after work commenced. In fact, the “Cambridge trio” (Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot) colluded with others to dominate the meetings with their views of the text and to defeat any who opposed them. Their *letters reveal this conspiracy:

The only voice defending the Textus Receptus was Dr Scrivener, probably the foremost scholar of the day in the manuscripts of the Greek New Testament and the history of the Text. But he was systematically outvoted by the Cambridge trio and outdone by Hort’s powerful debating skill. When the revision was completed, the revision committee had altered the Greek Text in 5,337 places,

thus violating the original rule that had been set for the committee of not altering the Greek Text unless absolutely necessary to do so.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, let it be said that no matter how good any modern version of the New Testament is in other ways, it is clearly blemished if the work of Westcott and Hort or Nestle & Aland.is present in it. The presence of their work means that it is based on  defective text. Those who honor the Word of God must not promote any of these versions by the church, not because the content of the version is entirely  evil in itself, but because being contented to use a weakened version rather than the existing, preserved, inerrant unblemished one, dishonors God. If God has preserved for His people a good Greek text of the New Testament for 18 centuries, how dishonoring it must  be to Him if His people now chose versions that are  based on  the defective and inferior  Greek manuscript  invented  by Westcott & Hort or Nestle & Aland.

 

Let the biblical story of Nadab and Abihu be a lesson for us all:
