The inspired preaching, teaching and writings of Charles Haddon Spurgeon were bedrock solid on God’s revealed Word, the Bible. Spurgeon’s written publications continue to benefit readers with inspired Gospel preaching and sound biblical teaching. His ministry continues to flourish in London’s Metropolitan Tabernacle. (Brief History) a church begun in 1650. The building was constructed by members of the congregation in 1861. It continues to thrive and flourish today.
Charles Haddon Spurgeon’s Conversion in 1850 in his own words.

All Bible versions that are NOT translated from the Textus Receptus [The (traditional) Received Greek Text] include variant readings that diminish the full expressions of glory and the most Holy reverence due to the Omnipotent, Almighty GOD. He preserves and protects it’s immutably in the 1769 Edition of the 1611 King James Version KJV Bible. This version is also known as the Authorized King James Version AKJV and the Authorized Version AV. ALL GLORY is due and must be given to the Omnipotent and Omniscient LORD of ALL.
The Geneva Bible was also faithfully translated from the Greek Textus Receptus and included comments favorable to the Protestant Reformation from inspired, devoted, faithful Christian men of GOD; They were Puritan Believers known to be beyond reproach.
This Bible was first brought to Plymouth Massachusetts in the American Colonies by the Puritan Pilgrims guided by Captain Christopher Jones’s on the Mayflower sailing ship in 1620. A 1592 Edition of the Geneva Bible that belonging to a Mayflower passenger and the Governor of the Plymouth Colony (Later to become the State of Massachusetts) by William Bradford and is on display at the Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the oldest continuously operating public museum in the United States.
The traditional Textus Receptus [Received Greek Text] unlike any other Greek Text was taken from more than 5,321 original Majority Greek Manuscripts MT that agree 98% with one another. Other variant readings are translations invented by either Westcott and Hort or Nestle and Aland. These fabricated Greek Texts were translated from only a handful [45] of Majority Text Manuscripts MT and lack the trustworthiness of the inspired 1769 [1611] King James Version, KJV or the Geneva Bible and are the only two translations of the traditional, reliable, inspired, [GOD BREATHED] immutable and providentially and divinely protected Textus Receptus.

The Bridge to Babylon video presents evidence that tracks the explosion of more than 100 new versions of English translations of the Bible. The continuing attempts to replace, add or take away from the 1769 edition of the King James Version KJV of the Holy Bible does not prevail because GOD Himself preserves and protects The inspired, inerrant, immutable and infallible Holy Word of GOD from all heresy, blasphemy, confusion , errors, additions, subtractions or changes.

BCE/CE vs. BC/AD Is there a difference?

*A.D. does NOT mean “After Death” as many mistakenly believe. It is Latin for Anno Domini, a phrase adopted into English usage that means “Year of [the/our] Lord”. The complete original phrase "anno Domini nostri Jesu Christi" means "in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ”. A.D. and together with B.C. Before Christ is used to divide all history before and after the birth of Jesus the Christ [Messiah]. ...More

Can DAILYSPURGEON be trusted? Is it trustworthy?
Is it of God?
YES, it can! Yes, it is! Here’s why.
Beloved ones, don’t be believing every spirit [everyone or !everything] you hear but be testing the spirit [voice] whether it is of God: because many false prophets have gone [come] out into the world. Here’s how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit [voice] that confesses [avows] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh, having come[who came] out of God, is of God: and every spirit that confesses not [doesn’t audibly avow] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
I therefore must and do audibly confess, that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh.
[All translations of the Bible that use Greek translations other than the traditional and faithful Textus Receptus do not include “ictin” the Greek word that means “is” in English] and its exclusion erroneously causes the meaning of its English , “is here” to change from “is” come” [is here] to “has” come”.
This translation error is self-evident because non-believers, false prophets, atheists and even heretics can, and frequently do, affirm that Jesus Christ “has come” [in the flesh].
While this is a true statement, when taken at face value, the meaning of “has come” is clearly not the same as “is here”. When has come is the meaning the scriptural test to discern whether the words being analyzed are from the Spirit of God or the spirit of antichrist is completely negated.
The most well documented fact in all of human history is that Jesus Christ [Anointed Messiah] “has” come in the flesh. However, the question of much greater importance, is not whether the spirit [a spoken or written word] being considered and tested confesses that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh but, whether the confession being made affirms that Jesus Christ, “is come” [is now here], in the flesh.
Compare and consider [Meditate upon] scripture with other relative scripture: Precept upon precept, Line upon line…
Isaiah 28:10-14

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I [The Apostle Paul] speak concerning Christ and the church. [The body and Bride of CHRIST]
“I speak concerning Christ and the church.” [the fleshly embodiment, here and now, of the body of Christ]. Because followers of Jesus Christ are members of the incarnate Body of Christ [The Church] I affirm and avow that Jesus Christ is here
[Not “Has come”] in the flesh.

Which Bible Is The Best? (57 min.) David Hocking
GOD’S HOLY WORD is
Immutable, [unchanging and, unable to mutate or to be changed], Inspired, [God breathed],
Infallible,[Incapable of failing]
Inerrant [Without error]
Self-Authenticating [The Bible is considered self-authenticating because proponents believe it contains inherent divine qualities—like unity, majesty, power, and internal consistency—that reveal its divine origin, convincing readers of its truth without solely relying on external historical proof or church testimony. This concept, championed by Reformers, suggests the Holy Spirit illuminates these features (like the "heavenliness of its matter," "efficacy of its doctrine," and "majesty of its style") within the text itself, allowing believers to perceive God's Word directly, much like seeing God's glory in Christ.]
Providentially Protected and Preserved
Psalm 12:6-7: 6 The words of the Lord are pure words:
as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. (AKJV).
Isaiah 40:8: 8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (AKJV).
Matthew 5:18: 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (AKJV).
Matthew 24:35: 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (AKJV).
1 Peter 1:23: 23 being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (AKJV).
1 Peter 1:25: 25 but the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. (AKJV).
Psalm 119:89: 89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven, Psalm 119:89). (AKJV).
The Authorized King James Version (AKJV) AKA AV is used here. It is the faithful Translated from the preeminent, traditional Greek Textus Receptus [Received Text] and is superior to all Modern Critical Text translations or editions.

Which Bible Is The Best? (57 min.) David Hocking
David’s Summary (8 min.) The problem is not English, but which Greek text was used to render the English translation.
(AKJV) This Translation was faithfully translated by consecrated, fully dedicated, preeminent linguists, language scholars who were devoted followers of The Lord Jesus Christ. The 1611 King James translation is from the inerrant, inspired and immutable Textus Receptus [the traditional Received Text]:
Psalm 119:89 ל (Lamed) Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
“Thy Word” is The Inspired and Ultimate Stare Decisis [The Latin phrase that means to stand by things decided, to uphold all things God-Breathed [Inspired] and therefore eternally and immutably decided]
4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth [says] that Jesus Christ is come [is here] in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Therefore, I now confess that “Jesus Christ is here, from God, in the flesh.”
[All other English translations of the Bible that use Greek manuscripts other than the Textus Receptus render the English translation as “Has come”.
This erroneous Translation is because inferior Greek manuscripts that do not include the Greek word “ictin” (This is The Greek word for is that is found only in the Textus Receptus) and therefore fail to correctly translate “Is come” [Is Here] into English.
The Authorized King James Version AKJV also known as The Authorized Version AV stand alone in giving the correct translation as “is here”.
The error, “has come” is self- evident, because non-believers, false prophets and even heretics can, and sometimes do, make the confession that He “has come” in the flesh. This is no surprise to us because the birth of Jesus Christ is the most well documented fact in all of recorded history. Indeed, it is a factual statement that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. While this is, on the surface a true statement, when “has come” replaces “is come” its altered meaning does not now provide the test of discernment as to whether a spirit [voiced or written words being read or heard] is either from God or from antichrist. It is true that Jesus Christ “has come” in the flesh, but it’s essential and of crucial importance, that the confession that Jesus Christ, “is here, in the flesh.” Be made out-loud.
By Reading, comparing and meditating on a certain Scripture with other Scriptures, God’s Word self-authenticates:
Therefore we study:
1 John 4:1-3 with Ephesians 5:30-32
Authorized (King James) Version
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
30: for we are members of his [Jesus Christs’] body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and His bride the church.
[We are members of His body, flesh and bones, one flesh with Him, as His bride the church].
He was born of a virgin 2026 years ago, and HE is alive today,
and He is coming soon for His bride; The Church.
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
believed on in the world, received up into glory. "1 Timothy 3:16

It should be the desire of every born-again believer to worship God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, in Spirit and in truth.
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing [accurately sharing] the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
To this end, Heavenly Father, we pray that You will bless all who visit this website and bring many to confess the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
This Website does not replace nor can it be a substitute for the in-person, personal assembling of ourselves together. Hebrews 10:23-27
Rather, the Website’s purpose is to save lost sinners and to teach and encourage believers through God’s Word and prayer to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ [The Messiah] in personal discipleship and worship of the Lord Jesus as we are being conformed to His very image. “For whom God did foreknow he did also predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son…” Romans 8:29
We are, instructed by Holy Scripture to assemble, praise and worship God. Thus we worship the Lord Jesus Christ and exhort and provoke one another to do good works.
Such worship takes place through, congregational singing of sacred hymns and spiritual songs, reading, preaching and obeying God’s Word, sharing Christian love and fellowship, agreeing together with specific public prayer requests, and reading and exhorting one another in the Word, to provoke one another to love and serve and bear witness with one another in the Holy Ghost.
Admonition: Online streaming may not satisfy personal interaction, or the fellowship of an in-person assembly. Electronic media cannot substitute for the physical inter-personal fellowship, commitment, and humility, nor does it provide for a kind and comforting touch or embrace of another believer. e.g. Laying on of hands, 1 Timothy 4:14; the right hands of Christian fellowship, Galatians 2:9; or an embrace, Acts 20:1; or greeting with a holy kiss,
We give thanks to the Lord, for DailySpurgeon.com as an instrumentality for building up of fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who are being taught and are taught to teach others to be disciples; Fully devoted followers of The Lord Jesus Christ [The Messiah].
We pray that you will also be an inspired instrumentality of God to share the good news of Jesus Christ with every creature, encouraging them to become the very image of Jesus Christ.
This ministry was begun as daily e-mails of Faith’s Checkbook by Charles H. Spurgeon were sent to Jon Edward Riley. Jon shared these messages with others and soon many wered added to the mailing list as he witnessed and shared his testimony with them.
Jon was called home by his loving Father in Heaven on January 16, 2021 leaving a legacy of this Website to minister to all who will benefit in this labor of Love to the glorify God and His Eternal Kingdom. ALL Glory belongs to God, alone.
Jon is honored; giving honor to whom honor is due. Romans 13:7
We pray that many will be born again, challenged, encouraged, and built-up to become fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and be conformed to His image; that they might be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:28-29.

Jon loved to say, “I’m a blood-bought, born-again Child of God!” to anyone he happened to meet or to anyone who would listen.
… Jon’s testimony lives on from one who, by grace, through faith was forever accepted in the Beloved; who’s loving ways brought the good news of Jesus to many. and one who is now present with the LORD in glory forever. One who, one day, we’ll meet again.
Amen.
Jon would sometimes just sing-out some of the following songs on the way to church, or sometimes just singing along with the Elvis Gospel CD that was always in our F-150’s CD player while riding with his Dad or,
Best of all, when an inspired, spontaneous praise from the Lord would just pop out from his joyful, creative, redeemed and loving heart.

LOVE WITHOUT END, AMEN (A Father’s Love) by George Strait honoring George H.W. Bush (41st President) A favorite song of the President.
It’s also my sincere message of love to all my children, grand-children and great grand-children etc.
…Jon would always say “Later”; [as in, see-ya later] instead of “good bye”. It was his only farewell greeting when parting company with a friend; and, everyone was Jon’s friend.
… He would never say “good-bye”.
Now, as we remember the sound of him saying “Later”, it rings true in a new and deeper meaning and it brings a joy and comfort to the hearts of those whom he loved so well; those who love him still and will forever more.
… and how much sweeter to us now, are the promises in these two Hymns:
’TILL WE MEET AGAIN. (sing along, won’t you?)

God Appeals to Reason Isaiah 30:15-21 with Dr. Peter Masters
Before conversion, the claims of God mean nothing to us, but when God's Word speaks to our hearts, [by the Holy Spirit] the challenge becomes inescapable [and Irresistible ]. Self-searching begins, and the kindness of God's forgiving love is grasped as never before. Here is God's reasoning with souls.

The goodness of God is fully demonstrated in the promises He makes in the Bible. That the Creator and Sovereign God should deign to give promises to us is amazing. Here are the major promises, how Christ makes them possible, and how we receive them.

Oh! that Thou wouldst [would] turn the hearts of men to the gospel [“Good News” that Jesus Christ Saves] once more. Thy servant is [I am] often very heavy in heart because of the departures from the faith [backsliders]. Oh! bring them back; let not [Don’t let] Satan take away any more of the stars with his tail, but may the lumps [stars] of God shine bright. Oh! Thou that walkest [walk] among] the seven golden candlesticks [the seven, churches of Asia] trim [turn up] the flame, pour forth [fill-up] the oil, and let the light shine brightly and steadily.
Now, Lord, we cannot pray any longer, though we have a thousand things to ask for. Thy [Your] servant cannot, so he begs to leave a broken [incomplete] prayer at the mercy seat with this at the foot [end] of it:
We ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Amen. ________________________________________
ANECDOTE 158: January 7th DEATH [is] CERTAIN.
“It is appointed unto all men once to die, and after death the judgment.”
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)
Run! run! but the fleet pursuer shall overtake thee [you]. Like the stag [buck deer] before the hounds [hunting dogs] we fly swifter than the breeze, but the dogs of Death shall outstrip [overtake] us:
Fever and plague, weakness and decay; he hath but to let slip [drop] these, and they are on us, and who can resist their fury? There is a black camel upon which Death rides, say the Arabs, and that [it] must kneel at every man’s door. [Death comes to all]
With impartial hand he [Death] dashes [runs] down the palace of the monarch as well as the cabin of the peasant. At every man’s door there hangs that black [door] knocker, and Death hath but to uplift it and the dread sound is heard, and the uninvited guest sits down to banquet on our flesh and blood. Die I must. No physician can stretch out my life beyond its allotted term. I must cross that river. I may use a thousand stratagems, [strategies] but I cannot escape. Even now I am like the deer surrounded by the hunters in a circle, a circle which is narrowing every day; and soon must I fall and pour out my life upon the ground. Let me never forget, then, that while other things are uncertain, death is sure.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK January 7th ALWAYS GROWING by C.H. Spurgeon 1834-1892
-Thou shalt see greater things than these- John 1:50
-Cosas mayores que estas verás- Juan 1:50
This is spoken to a childlike believer, who was ready to accept Jesus as the Son of God, the King of Israel, upon one convincing piece [point] of argument.
Those who are willing to see shall see:
it is because we shut our eyes that we become so sadly blind. We have seen much already. Great things and unsearchable has the Lord showed unto us, for which we praise His name; but there are greater truths in His Word, greater depths of experience, greater heights of fellowship, greater works of usefulness, greater discoveries of power, and love, and wisdom.
These we are yet to see if we are willing to believe our Lord. The faculty [cleverness] of inventing false doctrine is ruinous, but power to see the truth is a blessing.
Heaven shall be opened to us, the way thither [there] shall be made clear to us in the Son of man, [Jesus the Messiah] and the angelic commerce [business] which goes on between the upper and the lower kingdoms shall be made more manifest [shown] to us. Let us keep our eyes open toward spiritual objects [things], and expect to see more and more. Let us believe that our lives will not drivel [shrink] down into nothing, but that we shall be always on the growing hand, seeing greater and still greater things, till we behold the Great God himself, and never again lose the sight of Him.
Prayer: Thank you Lord that we shall see even greater things than these, things that we have already seen. There are always greater truths in His Word, greater depths to experience, greater heights of fellowship, greater works of usefulness, greater discoveries of power, and love, and wisdom. We will yet see these because we believe in You, Lord Jesus. O Lord, show me even greater spiritual things, in Your name Lord Jesus, Amen.

MORNING: January 7th "FOR ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST”—Philippians 1:21
—Porque para mi el vivir es Cristo- Filipenses 1:21
The believer did not always live to Christ. He began to do so when God the Holy Spirit convinced him of sin, and when by grace he was brought to see the dying Savior making a propitiation [the sufficient, paid in full sacrifice] for his guilt. From the moment of the new and celestial birth from above the man begins to live to Christ.
Jesus is to believers the one pearl of great price, for whom we are willing to part with all that we have. He has so completely won our love, that it beats alone for him; to his glory we would live, and in defense of his gospel we would die; he is the pattern of our life, and the model after which we would sculpture our character.
Paul's words mean more than most men think; they imply that the aim and end of his life was Christ… --nay, [No.] his life itself was Jesus.
In the words of an ancient saint, he did eat, and drink, and sleep eternal life. Jesus was his very breath, the soul of his soul, the heart of his heart, the life of his life. Can you say, as a professing Christian, that you live up to this idea?
Can you honestly say that for you to live is Christ? Your business--are you doing it for Christ? Is it not done for self-aggrandizement and for family advantage? Do you ask, "Is that a mean [insufficient] reason?" For the Christian it is.
He professes to live for Christ; how can he live for another object without committing a spiritual adultery? Many there are who carry out this principle in some measure; but who is there that dare say that he hath lived wholly for Christ as the apostle did?
Yet, this alone is the true life of a Christian--its source, its sustenance, its fashion, its end, all gathered up in one word --Christ Jesus.
Prayer: Lord, accept me; I here present myself, praying to live only in thee and to thee. Let me be as the bullock which stands between the plough and the altar, to work or to be sacrificed; and let my motto be,
"Ready for either."

EVENING, January 7th "MY SISTER, MY SPOUSE. "—Song of Solomon 4:12
— Mi hermana, esposa mía— Cantares 4:12
OBSERVE the sweet titles with which the heavenly Solomon with intense affection addresses His [the Lord’s] bride, the church.
"My sister," one near to Me by ties of nature, partaker of the same sympathies. My spouse [wife], nearest and dearest, united to Me by the tenderest bands of love; sweet companion, part of My own self. My sister, by My Incarnation, which makes Me bone of your bone and flesh of your flesh; My spouse [wife], by heavenly betrothal, in which I have espoused you unto Myself in righteousness. My sister, whom I knew of old, and over whom I watched from her earliest infancy; My spouse, taken from among the daughters, embraced by arms of love, and affianced [engaged to be married] unto Me forever. See how true it is that our royal Kinsman [the Lord Jesus, our nearest relative] is not ashamed of us, for He dwells with manifest delight upon this two-fold relationship. [Bride and Sister]
We have the word "my" twice in our version, as if Christ dwelt with rapture [because Christ continues to be enraptured] on His possession of His Church.
"His delights were with the sons of men,"
because those sons of men were His own chosen ones. He, the Shepherd, sought the sheep, because they were His sheep; He has gone about "to seek and to save that which was lost," because that which was lost was His long before it was lost to itself or lost to Him.
The church is the exclusive portion [possession] of her Lord; none else may claim a partnership, or pretend to share her love. Jesus, your church delights to have it so! Let every believing soul drink solace [peace, comfort and contentment] out of these wells.
Christ is near to you in ties of relationship; Christ is dear to you in bonds of marriage union, and you are dear to Him.
Behold, He grasps both of your hands with both His own, saying, "My sister, my spouse." Mark the two sacred clasps [taking your hands in His own] by which your Lord gets such a double hold of you that He neither can nor will ever let you go. Be not slow [Be quick] to return the hallowed [holy] flame of His love.
MAN’S WHOLE DUTY January 7th … Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13
Our solemn aim is to trust and obey the Lord Jesus in everything. We must rely upon God completely to achieve His purposes in us and through us.
Loving and worshiping God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength in Spirit and in truth is a labor of love and duty of every believer. Desire will grow stronger as we give ourselves to prayer, reading and meditating on God’s Word, gathering ourselves together to hear Gospel preaching, the singing of Psalms, sacred hymns and spiritual songs.
We purpose, with God’s help, to reach the lost, comfort, strengthen and encourage believers, and rightly divide God’s Word to proclaim the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ to every creature.
The Holy Bible is God’s eternal, inerrant, infallible, immutable revealed and divinely preserved Word. It is His completed scripture of all revealed truth. He brings guidance and the knowledge of His will to us personally and to each local body of Christian believers through His Word. With God’s help and empowerment, we will read, study, meditate-on, trust-in and obey God’s Holy Bible and encourage others to do the same. We hold it to be the supreme authority and the preeminent and divinely established precedent [Stare Decisis Latin: to stand by that which is decided, the legal doctrine of precedence, literally "to stand by decided matters"] in all things.
Therefore, the purpose of The John Mark Publishing Company is to publish the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature. And, to serve all, in love, especially those in the household of faith. We are compelled by this purpose to follow, and rightly apply and proclaim, God’s Holy Word, the Bible, as God’s divinely preserved truth; being the essential authority and goal of this ministry.
The Metropolitan Tabernacle:
The inspired preaching, teaching, soul winning and writings of Charles Haddon Spurgeon were solely based, empowered and inspired by God’s Holy Word the Bible. His written sermons and devotional messages continue to benefit today’s readers through authentic Gospel preaching. His ministry continues to thrive and flourish from the original (Spurgeon) Metropolitan Tabernacle a church begun in 1650. The present building was constructed in 1861 and rebuilt after the destruction during the second world war.
Mission Aim: Spurgeon's sermons and devotional messages have edified the church body and have been a great benefit, to all readers for many years. We pray they will be useful to strengthen personal discipleship in every believer and to spread the Gospel [Good news] of Jesus Christ, the Messiah to every person.
The Essence of the Gospel:
-
God is Holy and good and not willing that any should perish.
-
Man is sinful and bad and hopelessly lost without God.
-
Even so, God made provision for sinful men to be reconciled to Himself. God loved the world so much He gave Jesus Christ, His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God didn’t send Him into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved.
A SINNER’S PRAYER January 7th
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Pray and call on the name of the Lord Jesus. Won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner. I’m lost and it’s hopeless for me to save myself. Without you and your death on the cross I would spend eternity in Hell.
I know that me doing my best or being good (in my own opinion) and justifying my own behavior as "good" or "OK" can never be enough to save me.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I come to You right now. Lord Jesus. Will You please save me. I believe You died on the cross in my place to pay for my sin debt and put to death my sin nature. I know You always keep your word. Please save me. You have said and it’s written in the Bible that you won’t reject anyone who comes to you. Thank You.
I give myself completely to You, Lord Jesus. I’m sorry for every sin I’ve done and I now turn away from each one and look to You to forgive me, save me and deliver me from future evil. Thank you for forgiving all of my sins by dying on the cross paying the punishment that I deserve. I’m a sinner by nature and by my actions. But now I'm washed clean by Your blood that was shed for me at the cross.
Thank you Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was bor n and that You love me now and will always love me and will never reject or turn your back on me. I know You are the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one can come to the Father other than by You.
Thank you, Father that You have made a way for me to see myself as ungodly. But, because You are good You have made a way and given me the desire to come to You, to turn away from my sin and to trust in the Lord Jesus. You have forgiven me because He took my place and You have provided for me to be born again [born from above, born of the Holy Spirit].
You prompted this desire and faith to believe in Your only begotten Son who, gave up His life and died on the cross to pay my sin debt, not mine alone, but the sins of the whole world.
Thank You, righteous Father of love that you allowed Jesus to suffer and die raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave and in Christ Jesus there is no condemnation. After You raised Him from the dead You gave Him a Glorified, [everlasting] physical body and after he was seen by many witnesses on earth You took Him up to reign with You in heaven.
Thank you for saving me. I pray this in the name, of Your only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ with a grateful heart. Thank You for saving me heavenly Father and for the Comforter, The Spirit of Truth, for my guidance and solemn instruction into all truth., Amen.”
Thank You Holy Spirit of Truth, Comforter, Paraclete [one who comes along side] for the new life in Jesus and victory that comes when I recon myself dead indeed unto sin and alive unto God through Christ Jesus our Lord trusting You, Holy Spirit for the execution of this vow.
Thank you, Holy Spirit, that you always bear witness of and exalt the Lord Jesus. John 16:8-11
With all my heart, thank you Lord for saving me.
Abide in me Lord Jesus in Your name I pray, Amen.

John Bunyan did not write nor hold to a world view of any kind. His inspired work, The Pilgrim’s Progress, known as the world’s most allegory, does not subscribe to any world view at all but proclaims God’s view on everything revealed and forever settled in Heaven Psalm 119:89 in The Holy Bible.
Bunyan merely, yet ardently believed God’s Word; That it is God-breathed [inspired by God], Self-authenticating, Providentially-protected and propagated immutable [unchanged and unchangeable] , inerrant [without error] , infallible [incapable of being mistaken or of being wrong], indestructible and eternal written Word from GOD Himself for ever settled in Heaven.
