Saint Valentine’s Day
by John-Michael Riley
The King was clear, “No marriage here!
… Cause single men, they have no fear.”
They have no worry, no debts to pay,
They love to fight, most every day.
No married partner by his side,
No wife, no kids, no gorgeous bride.
But God’s dear Word hath set the tone:
“It’s Not so good, that man’s alone.”
It isn’t right! Don’t come between us!
“Marry Then!” said Valentinus.
By the scores he helped them wed.
In Holy bliss they always said.
Valentinus was arrested,
By his loved one he was tested.
She was blind and could not hear.
His prayer to God, God did hold dear.
Smitten by her love and charms;
He Saved the Jailer from all harms.
The Jailer heard the Savior’s call;
Then HE saved him, all-in-all.
When on his way to martyrdom,
He sent his sweet, “Be mine.”
He wrote his name and stated thus:
“I am forever thine.”
Your Valentine.

Does it matter whether the Traditional abbreviation
B.C./A.D. or the New Age B.C.E./C.E. is used to describe Calendar years?
Yes, it does. Significantly!
B.C./A.D. are the traditional abbreviations that stand for “Before Christ” and “Anno Domani” [Year of our Lord] A.D. Does NOT mean “After Death” as many erroneously believe.
B.C.E./C.E is a New Age invention that stands for “Before Common Era” and “Common Era”. [An effort to eliminate the person of Jesus Christ, writing Him out of History, by no mentioning of HIM, at all].

The Lord Jesus Christ [Anointed Messiah and King] was supernaturally Fathered by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin girl named Mary 2026 years ago in Bethlehem. He was crucified, and after three days, GOD raised Him from the dead, victorious over sin, death and the grave. He is GOD’S Incarnate and Everlasting WORD [The WORD made flesh.] The Church is the Body of Christ, She is His espoused Bride, for whom HE will come again.
The singular event of His birth divides and establishes all Human History as having been either Before or After His Birth.

The Indestructible Book [GOD’s HOLY WORDS]
By Dr. David Brown
The 1769 Edition of The King James Bible is Divinely Inspired, Inerrant and Infallible, Providentially Preserved and Protected Words of GOD. They are God-Breathed and Eternal WORDS of Almighty GOD. The GOD who calls Himself “I AM” is Omni-Lingual, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Immutable, All-Wise, Omnipresent, Eternally Infinitely and Supremely Holy. He is the One-and-Only Triune Three-in-One GOD.
“I and my Father are one”. John 10:30
________________________________
1 John 5:7 Is the fundamental scriptural doctrine and essential tenet of the Trinity. [The Triune, [Three-in-One] GOD in-Three Persons (This verse has been repeatedly omitted or Changed in an attempt to diminish the authority and the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ or it has been Removed entirely from all Critical Text translations by apostates with the untenable goal of supporting False Doctrines that give rise to all manner of Cults, False Doctrines, Teachings and Heresies by false Prophets.
Therefore, The incarnate WORD of GOD, [Jesus *Christ (*The Anointed MESSIAH and KING) and His Father are ONE.]
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, [Jesus Christ] and the Holy Ghost: and
these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, [Holy Ghost] and the water [Life of the Father], and the blood; [The Sacrificial Blood of Jesus Christ]: and these three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son [Jesus Christ (The Anointed Messiah and King)].
GOD is “I AM” and Jesus Christ is The WORD made Flesh, GOD’s WORD is infinite and endures FOREVER, from Eternity Past through never-ending Eternity Future.

1 John 5:7 out of the Bible.
By Dr. Phil Stringer
1 John 5:7 Is The Great Trinitarian Proof Text of The Bible. (The immutable Doctrine of the Trinity.)
Daniel Webster [Writer of the Webster’s Dictionary] was once asked. “Does it not bother you to believe in the Trinity since you cannot explain it?
His answer was, “What would bother me would be to have a God so small that I could fully explain Him.”

The preaching, teaching and writings of Charles Spurgeon
are saturated with God’s Word, the Bible. His publications continue to benefit readers with sermons and sound biblical teaching from one whose life was poured out like a drink offering to The Lord Jesus Christ, to whom Charlie [Charles Spurgeon] was a fully devoted follower. His love of Jesus Christ manifested itself in an singular love for and a never-ceasing effort toward winning souls of the unsaved multitudes. From one who became known as The Prince of Preachers he remained humble always proclaiming Christ, and Him crucified.
His ministry continues to thrive today at London’s Metropolitan Tabernacle.

PRAYER 12. March 11th Part 2 of 10 ON HOLY GROUND
With lowliest reverence, with truest love, we worship [You] God in Christ Jesus, uniting therein with all the redeemed host [holy armies] above, with angels and principalities and powers. We cannot cast [throw] crowns at His feet, for we have none as yet, but if there be any virtue, if there be any praise, if there be about us anything of grace and good repute, we ascribe it all [give all credit and glory] to God. We cannot veil our faces with our wings, for we have none, but we veil them with something better than angelic wings,
the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ.
With these we cover our faces, with these we cover our feet, and with these we fly up to God in holiest fellowship of God.
Glory, and honor, and power, and dominion be unto Him that sitteth [sits] upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and forever. [In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ] Amen.

ANECDOTE 223: March 11th GOD’S PITY.
The old father had a very long range of eye sight; [distance vision] and tho the prodigal [rebel son] could not see him in the distance, he could see the prodigal. And the father’s first thought when he saw him was this
“my poor son, my poor boy ! that ever he should have brought himself into such a state as this!”
He looked through his telescope of love, and he saw him, and said, “Ah! he did not go out of my house in such trim as [dressed like] that. Poor creature [child] , his feet are bleeding; he has come a long way, I’ll be bound [I bet.] Look at his face, he doesn’t look like the same boy he was when he left me. His eye that was so bright, is now sunken in its socket; his cheeks that once stood out with fatness, have now become hollow with famine. Poor wretch [poor guy], I can tell [see] all his bones, he is so emaciated [skinny] .” Instead of feeling any anger in his heart, he [the father] felt just the contrary; he felt such pity for his poor son.
And so [that’s how] the Lord feels for you.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK March 11th WHOSE BATTLE?
-And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not [doesn’t save] with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you [our enemy] into our hands —1 Samuel 17:47
(The Battle Belongs to the Lord by John Michael Talbot…sing-along, won’t you?)Y sabrá toda esta congregacion que Jehova no salva con espada y lanza; porque de Jehova es la guerra, y el os
el entregara en nuestras manos —1 Samuel 17:47
Let this point be settled, that the battle is the Lord’s, and we may be quite sure of the victory, and of the victory in such a way as will best of all display the power of God. The Lord is too much forgotten by all men, yea, even by the assemblies of Israel; and when there is an opportunity to make men see that the Great First Cause can achieve His purposes without the power of man, it is a priceless occasion which should be well employed. Even Israel looks too much to sword and spear. It is a grand thing to have no sword in the hand of David, and yet [still] for David to know that his God will overthrow a whole army of aliens [the Philistine giants]. If we are indeed contending for truth and righteousness, let us not tarry till we have talent, or wealth, or any other form of visible power at our disposal; but with such stones as we find in the brook, and with our own usual sling, let us run to meet the enemy. If it were our own battle we might not be confident; but if we are standing up for Jesus, and warring in His strength alone, who can withstand us? Without a trace of hesitancy let us face the Philistines; for the Lord of Hosts is with us, and [therefore] who can be against us?

El pecado … pecado sobremanera pecante —Romanos 7:13
BEWARE of light thoughts of sin [kidding, jesting or laughing about it]. At the time of conversion, the conscience is so tender that we are afraid of the slightest sin. Young converts [babes in Christ] have a holy timidity, a godly fear, lest they should offend God [that they might offend God]. But alas, very soon the fine bloom on these first ripe fruits is removed by the rough handling [hateful or unkind treatment] of the surrounding world.
The sensitive young plant of fresh consecration [devotion] turns into a willow in later life: too pliant [flexible], too easily yielding. It is sadly true, that a Christian may gradually grow so callous, [become so desensitized] that the sin which once startled him does not alarm him in the least.
By degrees men get familiar with sin. The ear in which the cannon has been booming will not notice slight sounds. At first a little sin startles us, but soon we say, "Is it not a little one [just a little white one, does it really matter]?" Then there comes another, larger, and then another, until by degrees we begin to regard sin as but a little ill [a bad choice].
Then, follows an unholy presumption: “Well, I’m still a good person and, at least, better than so and so” "We have not fallen into open sin. True, we tripped [up] a little [bit, just a mess-up], but we stood upright [maintained integrity] in the main [over-all]. We may have uttered one unholy word, but as for the most of our conversation, it has been consistent [and proper]."
So we palliate sin [placate its gravity]; we throw a cloak over it; we call it by dainty [politically correct] names.
Christian, beware how lightly you think of sin. [Is it hateful to us or merely to be laughed at?] Take heed lest [for fear that] you fall by little and little [little by little].
SIN, A LITTLE THING?
Is it not a poison? Who knows its deadliness? A little thing? Do not the little foxes spoil the grapes? Does not the tiny coral insect build a rock [coral reef] that wrecks a navy? Do not little strokes [by an axe] fell lofty oaks [huge oak trees]?
Will not continual dripping [of water] wear away stones?
Sin, a little thing?
It girded the Redeemer's head with thorns, and pierced His heart! It made Him suffer anguish, bitterness, and woe.
If you could weigh the least sin in the scales of eternity, you would fly [run away] from it as from a serpent [rattlesnake], and abhor [hate] the least appearance of evil. Look upon all sin as that which crucified the Savior and you will see it to be
"exceeding sinful."

EVENING March 11th -THOU SHALT BE CALLED, “SOUGHT OUT" —Isaiah 62:12
- Á ti te llamarán -Ciudad Buscada —Isaías 62:12
THE surpassing [irresistible] grace of God is seen very clearly in that we were not only sought [looked for], but sought out [looked for until found]. Men seek for a thing that is lost on the floor of the house, but in such a case there is only seeking, not seeking out.
The loss is more perplexing and the search more persevering when a thing is sought out. We were mingled with the mire as when some precious piece of gold falls into the sewer. Men gather out and carefully inspect a mass of abominable filth, and continue to stir and rake, and search among the heap until the treasure is found.
Or, to use another figure, we were lost in a labyrinth [maze]: we wandered hither and thither, and when mercy came after us with the gospel, it did not find us at the first coming. It had to search for us and seek us out; for we as lost sheep were so desperately lost, and had wandered into such a strange country it did not seem possible that even the Good Shepherd should track our devious roamings [self-centered, self-absorbed obsessions].
Glory be to unconquerable grace, we were sought out! No gloom could hide us, no filthiness could conceal us, we were found and brought home.
Glory be to infinite love!
God the Holy Spirit restored us! The lives of some of God's people, if they could be written, would fill us with holy astonishment. Strange and marvelous are the ways God used in their case to find His own. Blessed be His name, He never relinquishes the search until the chosen are sought out effectually [found and saved]. They are not a people sought today and cast away tomorrow. [God’s everlasting love is not “hit and miss” but inevitable, irresistible and infinitely omnipotent to seek out His chosen.]
Almightiness and wisdom combined will make no failures. They will be called, "Sought [Looked for and found] out!"
That any should be sought out is matchless grace, but that we should be sought out is grace beyond measure [infinite grace]! We can find no reason for it but God's own sovereign love and can only lift up our heart in wonder, and praise the Lord that this night we wear the name of
"SOUGHT OUT. "

A person comes to Jesus by believing and (whole heartedly) praying like this:
“Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner. I’m lost and hopeless without You. I will never be able to save myself by my own merits. Without you and your death on the cross I would deserve and spend forever in Hell.
I know that me doing my best or being good (in my own opinion) and justifying my own behavior as "good" or "OK" will never save me.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I come to You right now. Lord Jesus. Please save me. I believe You died on the cross in my place to pay for my sin debt and put to death my sin nature. I know You always keep your word. Please save me. You say and it’s written in the Bible that you won’t reject anyone who comes to You. I'm coming to You now. Thank You for saving me.
I give myself (all of myself) to You, Lord Jesus. I declare that You are my Savior and Lord. I’m sorry for and I turn away from every sin (every bad thought, every bad word I have spoken and every bad thing I have ever done) and look to You free me from the penalty of sin, to keep me free from the power of sin and empower me overcome any temptation from sin’s presence. Thank you for forgiving all of my sins by dying on the cross to pay the punishment that I deserve. (I was a sinner by nature and by behavior). But now I'm washed clean by Your blood that was shed [poured out] for me at Calvary [at the cross].
Thank you Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was born and that You love me now and will always love me and will never reject or turn your back on me. I know You are the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one can come to the Father other than by You.
Thank you Father that You have made a way for me to see myself as ungodly. But, because You are good You have made a way and given me the desire to come to You, to turn away from my sin and to trust in the Lord Jesus. You have forgiven me because He took my place and You have provided for me to be born again [born from above, born of the Holy Spirit].
You prompted this desire and faith to believe in Your only begotten Son who, gave up His life and died on the cross to pay my sin debt, not mine alone, but the sins of the whole world.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is ALIVE and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave and in Christ Jesus there is no condemnation. After You raised Him from the dead You gave Him a Glorified, [everlasting] physical body and after he was seen by many witnesses on earth You took Him up to reign with You in heaven.
I pray this in the name, of Your only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ with a grateful heart. Thank You for saving me heavenly Father and for sending the Comforter, The Spirit of Truth, for my guidance and solemn instruction into all truth., Amen.”
Thank You Holy Spirit of Truth, The Comforter, The Paraclete [true friend who is by your side and always has your back] for the new life in Jesus and the victory that comes when I recon myself dead indeed unto sin and alive unto God through Christ Jesus our Lord trusting You, Holy Spirit for Your empowerment to see this promise fulfilled. Romans 6:11
Thank you that you, Holy Spirit, always exalt [lift up] the Lord Jesus. John 16:8-11
With all my heart, I thank you Lord Jesus for saving me.
I ask now that You live Your life through me in Your name, Lord Jesus I pray, Amen.
Please allow us to celebrate with you and with the angels in heaven at the news of your new birth. Please write to:

Smitten by her love and charms;
He Saved the Jailer from all harms.
The Jailer heard the Savior’s call;

John 10:30

His answer was, “What would bother me would be to have a God so small that I could fully explain Him.”

are saturated with God’s Word, the Bible.

I ask now that You live Your life through me in Your name, Lord Jesus I pray, Amen.

for anno Domani (It means “Year of our Lord”.
BC/AD versus BCE/CE Is there a difference?
Yes. Stand for the Truth, Won’t you?
Jesus Christ [Messiah] (Anointed King)] the LORD GOD was born of a virgin 2025 years ago, was crucified, then, three days later rose from the dead, victorious over sin, death and the grave and is here in the flesh from GOD as His Church, The Body of Christ and will live forever, time
without end and He is coming again.

PRAYER 12. Part 2 of 10
ON HOLY GROUND

ANECDOTE 223: God’s Pity.

FAITH’S CHECKBOOK MARCH 11 WHOSE BATTLE? C.H. Spurgeon 1834 —1892

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that Thou saveth [save] not with sword and spear:
for the battle is Yours, and You will give our enemies into our hands. Give me courage, comfort and confidence in Your victory in Your name, Lord Jesus, Amen.

EVENING March 11
-Thou shalt be called, “Sought out" —Isaiah 62:12

A SINNER’S PRAYER: … FOR WHOSOEVER:
Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved … pray like this, won’t you?
“Lord Jesus, I’m a lost sinner and without You I am lost. I can’t save myself. Without your death on the cross to pay my sin debt I would be condemned to spend eternity in Hell. My nature and behavior has been sinful from birth. Please forgive me.
I realize that doing my best, being as good as possible, or being better than other people can never save me. . I’m sorry for each and every sin I have ever done and look to You to forgive them all.
I look to You, alone Lord Jesus to save me.
I call on You, Lord Jesus, right now to save me. You died on the cross for me, as God’s sacrifice for my sin.
Right now, just as I am, I call on You, Lord Jesus to save me, I trust You to be my Savior and Lord.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You have forgiven me of all my sins. I want to follow You from now on.
You paid the price for all of my sins by dying on the cross.
Thank you, Lord Jesus that You loved me and died for me before I was born and that You love me still
Thank you, Heavenly Father, that You called me away from sin and death into the Life everlasting in Your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus.
Thank You, Heavenly Father that you raised Jesus from the dead. He is alive and in Him we are victorious over sin, death and the grave.
Thank You for saving me heavenly Father and Holy Spirit for Your comfort and guidance in all things.
With all my heart, thank you Lord Jesus for saving me. In your name, I pray, Amen.

SACRED LITERATURE:
ORIGINAL: The Pilgrim’s Progress Pub. by Logos,1853 from 1678 Original by John Bunyan
REVISED TEXT by Barry E. Horner: The Pilgrim’s Progrefs [sic]...
in Pilgrim’s Progress. (Tthe World’s most widely circulated Allegory by John Bunyan, also credited, by some, as being the world’s first English novel.
IT’S FREE. No subscription required. You may choose to read at your own pace, or you may want to view DailySpugeon.com for daily encounters with Pilgrim.)
"Christ in us is Christ reigning." reminds me [Spurgeon's comment] of Mr. Bunyan’s picture of [the town of] Mansoul, …when the Prince Immanuel laid siege to it, and Diabolus from within the city strove to keep him out. It was a, hard time for Mansoul then; but when at last the battering rams had broken down the gates, and the silver trumpets sounded, and the prince’s captains entered the breach, then on a day the prince himself did ride down the city’s streets, while liberated citizens welcomed him with all their hearts, hung out all their streamers, and made the church towers rock again as the bells rang out merry peals [melody] , for the king himself was come. Up to the castle of the heart he rode in triumph, and took his royal throne to be henceforth the sole lord and king of the city.
Christ in you is a right royal word. Christ swaying his scepter from the center of your being over every power and faculty, desire and resolve, bringing every thought into captivity to himself, oh, this is glory begun, and the sure pledge of heaven. Oh for more of the imperial sovereignty of Jesus; it is our liberty to be absolutely under his sway.
